Top notch customer service! The food was absolutely delicious!

During my recent visit to New York Gyro in the South Side of Saint Cloud, I had the expectation of enjoying a cup of tea. However, my experience fell significantly short of being satisfactory. Despite arriving before other customers, I was surprised to learn that I would not be served tea, while others were being attended to without any issue. To exacerbate the situation, I was instructed to wait for approximately 30 minutes, despite my earlier arrival. Witnessing other customers being served promptly only added to my frustration, as I was left without any reasonable explanation for the discrepancy in service. The unequal treatment and lack of consideration for my presence left me deeply dissatisfied. As a customer, I believe in fair and equitable treatment regardless of the order of arrival. It would have been more acceptable if the staff had communicated any limitations or provided a clear reason for their inability to serve me tea. This experience has undoubtedly tarnished my perception of New York Gyro. I urge the management to address the issues of unequal treatment and excessive wait times in order to create a more positive dining experience for all customers. Based on this encounter, I find it difficult to recommend New York Gyro to others who are seeking a satisfactory dining experience. I sincerely hope that the feedback provided here will be taken into serious consideration, leading to the necessary improvements in their service

Great food but I just had a really bad experience here. I’ve come to this restaurant very often but for some reason the guy making my food tonight told the customer in front of me “I don’t like that guy” and then looks at me while making food. I don’t hide that I’m Jewish I wear my kippah and tzitzit proudly but apparently it’s a problem with the server even though I do my best to be polite all the time and tip well. Just really needs to be looked into; to not feel welcome because it’s predominantly muslims and I’m not hiding my Jewishness. I will not be returning. Also… Being Jewish doesn’t make you a Zionist…

These guys are absolutely amazing. I went in to get just a hamburger, and they were so polite. I needed ketchup for the fries and the guy behind the counter was already grabbing it before I even began asking. They're amazing. St. Cloud MN location is great. I recommend

The food is always good. But I've noticed the staff is more and attentive on the northway drive if you get food out the University avenue store. I highly recommend you double check your order. They messed my order up many times. It's kind of inconvenient.. NY gyro on University avenue really needs to step up their game.

Great food, great service. Friendly staff, fun vibe. I would get a Euro and a combo platter here again any day Edit: Great portion sizes, my wife and I split our orders with our two sons, and we still can't finish everything we got for $22

Excellent hot food option if you’re hungry late at night. Open until very late not many hot food places are open that late in the area. Very reasonable prices and very good standards of cleanliness. Good atmosphere plenty brightness good lighting. Staff was welcoming and super friendly. Would definitely recommend to try this place if are visiting the area.

Food is always great from this one. I have tried others and was left unsatisfied. Even though it's in a not so nice part of town it is definitely worth the trip.

This is seriously some of the best food in St. Cloud. I always get the chicken and rice bowl and it’s amazing.

I get take out from here all the time because i work late normally and not a lot of stuff is open, but i find myself craving the falafel on the regular! Always so nice and delicious.

I tried everything on their menu in one day. I would say that 90% of the food was amazing. My favorite was the tilapia and the lamb chops. The fish was perfectly crisp to perfection. The lamb chops were so flavorful but sadly they are tiny. But for the price you pay, it is worth it. I will definitely be coming back here soon. I highly recommend this place for a good cheap quick bite.

LOVE the food! Great variety and HUGE portions! Come here if your really hungry! If your not that hungry, they still have small portion snacks or get it take out too if full! American food is served here, so if you have friends looking for a place to eat that don't like this type of food. They will enjoy the large portions of American food variety!

Chicken and rice is all I have had here but I gotta stop and have it at least once a week. It is the Bomb. They give you a huge portion too. The workers there are awesome too. Thanks guys

Got a chance to try out this place today and man what a meal..flavorful hot and amazing. The veggies and toppings were all crisp and fresh the meats were so well seasoned and the rice was perfect .. the inside was clean and staff was friendly and helpful..I have never had a gyro and when he asked what toppings I wanted he was quick to tell me what works well.. I loved it we ordered for family at home too and they all said the food was amazing!!! For sure will be back and soon...

The Lahori Fish with salad and rice is great. Everything I've had here is good, at all 3 St. Cloud locations of this restaurant. Thanks for switching to compostable cutlery. If you could change to compostable boxes for take away, instead of Styrofoam, it would complete the picture.

Stopped there after work one day as it was the only place open and on myway home. Purchased a 5.99 lamb gyro and cheesy fries when I got home I hadn't bothered to check the fries there was no sauce on them and they were cold and unsalted which disappointed me cuz for some reason this order came to $14.99 and I left the change from a 20 in the tip jar despite having to wait in line for several minutes because of rude teens in line ahead of me. Although the gyro was good I wouldn't say it was $20 good.

I went here throughout my college years and have since moved throughout the country for the past 8 years and honestly I can say they have the best Gyro type food I have found thus far. Highly recommend the lamb and rice, it slaps!

Literally the best gyro I've ever had. I dream about the tzatziki sauce regularly and would buy a gallon of it if I could. The lamb is seasoned so incredibly well, and they give you a buttload of food for an amazing price. It never leaves you feeling bloated either and all the veggies feel fresh. I want one of these restaurants in my town!

Delicious rice dishes and pitas. They serve huge portions, good for two meals! Love how the customer can choose all of the additional toppings, with great choices. Both lamb and chicken are good.

Beef patty was slightly undercooked and customer service was pretty flawed. Beef patty’s are $3 per patty?? I go to a place that charges $2 and taste the same! Overpriced. Wouldn’t go here again.
