I was a little skeptical about the tours to Buck Island. It seemed like a very "touristy" thing to do since it is very popular and a little pricey. Boy was I wrong! It was hands down the best snorkeling I have ever done. We saw small black tip sharks, 2 huge eagle rays, a very large barracuda, beautiful schooling fish, and colorful coral. It was absolutely breathtaking. After snorkeling, we went to the other side of the island where we had the most gorgeous beach on the planet. We walked around to the back of the island along the shoreline where we saw a baby barracuda and an incredibly friendly nurse shark. The nurse shark came right up to me and followed us within inches of the shore as we walked back. It was like a 3-4ft aquatic puppy, lol!

We took an amazing snorkeling trip here with big beards tours. Buck island is an amazing beach with priceless views and lots of wildlife. Only spent $105 on the tour and that included food, it was well worth the money!

Snorkeling trip was great. Beach was pretty and there are bathrooms ๐Ÿšฝ luckily I didnโ€™t have to go this time I donโ€™t believe thereโ€™s running water. Picnic tables also available to have lunch on. The island and surrounding water is all government protected and we were told soon they are passing a sunscreen ๐Ÿงด law that will be banning the ingredient oxybenzone so keep that in mind before you buy your spf for your trip.

Snorkeling here is phenomenal. Went on a full day sailing trip with Caribbean Sea Adventures and it was worth every penny. There is an overlook at the top, about a 45 minute hike but the view once you get there is rewarding.

This is a must see, if you have a chance to do half day snorkel take it. It is not for the rookie snorkeller but it will be some of the best you see. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Chrystal clear, azure blue sea; abundant fish life; this is the perfect place for snorkelling and diving. If you are going to US Virgin Islands, try to get across here. You can even do a day trip using the sea plane, but its best to spend the night if you want to go with one of the charter snorkelling tours to Buck Island. There are morning and afternoon trips. The morning is obviously cooler. The snorkelling is lovely, but its much better to dive on the deeper reef. If you are going to St. Croix, this is a must do activity, especially if you have kids, they will love it. These are some of the best waters in the Caribbean. The important thing is to book your snorkelling trip well in advance. You can only get here on a couple of boats or a private boat. The little boats they rent are not good for going out this far.

Buck island is a must do trip if you're visiting St. Croix! Unbelievable views, crystal clear blue water, and a scenic beach I though only existed in movies. The snorkeling is also an awesome experience. Spend the day here if you can!

Must go. Must go. Did a snorkeling trip. Was perfect. Apples on the island will kill you they are poisonous. Beautiful fish. Respect the reef. Its still recovering.

You must snorkle here!! Beautiful reefs a d sea animals. Even saw a reef shark. Very clean and clear. Beach was clean and water was like glass. We didn't want to leave. Carribean Sea Adventures is amazing and does day tours. Our tour guides were awesome and so patient.
