This meal cost me almost $30. The food container is about the size of my palm. The “vegetable rolls” were described as “handmade” and with “spices”. As you can see, these are two regular low quality spring rolls that anyone can find at the dollar store. $5.99 for those two low budget spring rolls. The food is bland except for the taste of cilantro and the fact it’s spicy. This place is an absolute joke and a disgrace. They have better Indian food in the frozen food aisle at smiths. Don’t waste your money. I made a video, but I have no clue how to post it. I am LIVID. Edit: first of all, I’m glad you’ve shown your true colors as a business with your unprofessional response. Secondly, I love how you failed to address the NOT homemade, NOT gluten free spring rolls and their RIDICULOUS cost. The pictures speak for themselves. The food is gross. People who want to try it will do so and make up their own minds. I recommend Red Fort if you want AUTHENTIC and DELICIOUS Indian food in this area. Their prices are actually worth the amount of food and the quality. They say you get what you pay for, but if you choose to eat here you’ll get food poisoning like I did and a rude reply from a restaurant that only wants your money. The picture that has the entree is the exact amount of food you get. I spooned one piece of meat and some sauce onto the rice and did not eat any. I had taken a video with my palm for scale but was unable to post it. I completely resent the implication that I’m unable to afford your food. I knew what I was doing ordering from Uber. I was willing to pay the price as long as I was getting the amount of food comparable to the price. This is waaaaay more than 4x the cost of preparing, even with inflation accounted for. The amount of food you provided in my order would feed two 12 year olds. Not a single grown adult. So, kind reader, you tell me: is $15.99 fair for an entree with that amount of meat and sauce? You be the judge. My picture clearly shows the equivalent of 4 chicken nuggets in an entree for $15.99, and you want to shame people for using Uber eats, as if you didn’t put your restaurant on their platform. Disgusting and disgraceful behavior.

This is a great place to get authentic Indian food. The ambience is really cool with hand made paintings by the owners themselves. It was so good that we could not even take pictures of the food :? we just gobbled it all up. While the food is great and very reasonably priced, the service is really warm and caring. Uncle was really sweet and even made a fresh pot of chai for us. Highly recommend! It’s the perfect pit stop to grab lunch or dinner in your way to Zion.

The food was so good! We got the pineapple chicken and coconut chicken curry. Both were packed with flavor. The garlic Naan is also super good! We got our food fast and you could tell it was all fresh. It came out steaming hot. I can’t wait to go back!

I saw online today that Bombay Cafe had re-opened, and decided it would be a good time to have our first taste of Indian food. I started off simple, with an order of Butter Chicken. It was outstanding!! We will definitely be back!!

We were very happy with our meal at Bombay Cafe! Ordering at the counter was a bit strange, but the employees were very kind and helpful! Our curries, naan, and mango lassi were all perfect! The flavor and sauces are a bit lighter than most other Indian restaurants, but we absolutely loved it! Can’t wait to go back and try more!

The atmosphere is decorated and casual. The hanging stained glass lanterns are a warm touch. We had the coconut curry and it was fresh and delicious. We want to bring the rest of our family here!

Better than Red Fort! Best Indian food in Southern Utah. Everything we try is delicious. My favorites are the Vegetable Pakora appetizer, the lamb vindaloo, and the chicken karahi. The butter chicken is a safe favorite. The couple that own this restaurant pour their hearts into each meal. They are such a downtown gem that it’s a must visit for everyone!

If you're on the road to/from ANYWHERE and you cross st George. No matter how hungry you feel, make a pitstop at Bombay Cafe. It's the most authentic North Indian food I've eaten in a while. I visit every time I bring my family/friends to the canyons. My favorite is the mattar paneer , and boy the pic doesn't do justice to how yumm the flavors are. Their naan bread is super soft and flavorful and going by the speed at which the butter chicken was consumed, I can imagine :p The ambience is amazing ! And the people who work here are sweet and helpful. I'm surely coming back.

I’ve been coming here for 7 years and can’t believe I hadn’t done a review yet, if I could give this place 10 stars I would. Bombay Cafe is a lovely, family owned restaurant that cooks the best Indian food I’ve had in Utah. Not only that but they family that runs is are kind, wonderful people. Every time I eat here I fall in love all over again!

What happened?? So many good reviews, so I took the plunge on treating myself and got takeout. The portion size is great, the food, however... not so impressive. I got butter chicken because it's typically the safe option. Upon arrival, it's extremely oily-- there's a thick layer of grease covering the entire entree. It tastes nothing like butter chicken you would get at any other restaurant, including Red Fort right here in town. Did something go awry in the kitchen? Did I receive the wrong food entirely? Beyond disappointed at what I got for the price I paid.

My wife and I were looking for a vegan restaurant for lunch and fortunately we found Bombay Cafe. Their menu is great with a separate column for vegetarian and vegan dishes. I got the Veggie Coconut Curry mild level of spice and a garlic nan. My wife got the same dish with no spice and garlic nan. We both loved this unusual dish as we have never seen it at an Indian restaurant before which is why we both selected it. The mix of veggies was perfect carrots, potatoes, onions cauliflower and green peas as was the rice and curry which was delicious. If you like coconut you will enjoy this dish.

We are from the Seattle area, where we have a number of good options for Indian food. While we are not experts, we do eat it quite often. St George is lucky that they have one as good as this, and quite close to the city center. Ordering a single curry family style is definitely enough for two people- 2 curries family style would have been enough for us and our three kids (under ten). Would go again if we are in the area.

This is everything I could’ve wanted from an Indian restaurant. I got the coconut chicken curry with spice level medium+ and the gluten free roti(like a tortilla but better). My only regret is that I wasn’t hungry enough to eat more items from the menu. Can’t wait to go back!

I ordered the lamb curry and it was very delicious! It was a little spendy but you get a great portion and the taste is also worth it. The lamb was extreme juicy and well cooked. The spice also tasted great. The owner even came up and greeted us and was very friendly. We had a good little conversation with him. I'm am looking forward to going back and the food takes the cake from red fort.

Chicken coconut curry sauce was too thin and tasteless with tasteless large chunked chicken pieces. Gross. Butter chicken was good. Garlic naan bread was only garlic salted, not real garlic pieces. It was good, though. Environment was beautiful. Clean. Sadly, wouldn't recommend the chicken coconut curry. Family syle is $4 added per plate.

Bombay cafe is fantastic. Very authentic, No MSG and fresh ingredients. We are so glad that they have a place in St. George on tabernacle. Today had lamb karahi and naan bread my wife had chicken coconut curry. The lamb was extremely tender the rice was perfect I always love that little cucumber thingy on the side. Dr. Pena, my allergist, told me about them 12 years ago and I’m so glad he did. I recommend them to everyone.

My spouse and I tried this on a date night. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. The staff here are all very nice. The atmosphere felt really comfortable and casual. I got the biryani and it was delicious! My husband found the butter chicken not very flavorful. The rice and the naan bread were both very good though. I also tried their chicken tikka; its flavor is a bit different than others I've tried, but still good.

This is a St. George MUST!! The best Indian food I’ve ever had in the states. The place has been run by the same family for years and they are soo nice. The food is delicious, I personally love the lamb coconut curry.

Was not impressed with the food or the service. Had the atmosphere of a fast food joint, but costs as much as a nice sit down dinner. Staff didn't seem to want us there so we ended up taking the order to go.

Chicken Tikka Masala is really good and the garlic naan bread. Been here multiple times and the service is very fast!

Good place to eat for authentic Indian food. The owner is good to talk with and the food is prepared fast and has good flavor. Love the garlic Naan bread. The mango desert was also spot on.

They closed temporarily and it was heartbreaking! Do not want to lose this one. Simple Indian food, made with care by a great family! Honest 5/5 stars! Not a grain of rice on the plate! Look at the picture!!!

I love this place! The food is amazing, I came here one time on vacation, and it was so good I had to come back next time I was in town and it did not disappoint! I got the butter chicken

The food was delicious! Our family of 6 had second thoughts when we first entered the restaurant, but we were all glad we stayed. Lamb vindaloo, vegetable samosa, cheese naan and aloo paratha, butter chicken, chicken tandoori - all very good. Seating area was pretty clean, service was fine for a casual cafe, the owner was very polite. The cafe was fairly empty when we dined, so ambiance music would have been appreciated. We will go again next time we visit St. George.

Wonderful place to eat! The food is delicious and fresh and I was thrilled with the portion sizes. I tried the lamb masala and I finished every bite.

Tasty, substantial lunch menu. The lamb karahi was very tender, and flavorful. I'm just wishing I could return sooner. Quick service, and central location for historical sites in the town.

👍👍 Viva Chicken consistently delivers delicious food! I have been eating here for years and absolutely love the flavors packed in the chicken and sides.
