Such a great, spacious park! I loved the big full trees all around. There is a nice gazebo, bathrooms, and an awesome playground for kids. The grass field is huge. I believe there was also a pickle ball court. There is a parking lot right next to the playground which is helpful to have your car right there for kid's needs. I loved the view of the St. George temple from this park too. There was at least one picnic table that I saw. There is also parking all around the park. Great place! Thumbs up from the kids!

This was our first visit to this park. We had some friends suggest this park and we are glad we trusted them. It was a big park with plenty of room to play. We started on the pickleball courts, which had a good layout and are in good condition. We then headed to the playground for more play. It had something for all of our kids(9, 7, and 1 1/2). The people that were there while we were there were very friendly and kind. Our family and kids felt safe and we're able to have lots of fun. We will be returning after we check out a few other parks.

At this park weekly St. George farmers market is in full swing. There were food trucks. The farmer market hours were 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (noon) MDT every Saturday until October. Winter hours little different November to April 10am-2pm. Closed the last 2 weeks of December and all of January for winter break. This park is huge, plenty of space for big or small families to congregate too. Area to play pickle ball, play ground, shade to relax, pavilions to enjoy your picnic and plenty of space to set up outdoor games. Bathrooms, drinking fountains and plenty of parking. FUN, FUN, FUN...next door to rodeo grounds too.

This is a great little park. Good size playground that is partially covered with lots of covered picnic tables. There is a chair slide type of ride that my daughter absolutely loved. Lots of green area with additional tables throughout. Only thing that would make this place better would be a splash pad as it was 100 degrees on the May day visit we had. Worth a stop, especially if traveling with kids.

Went to a.concert in the park there. But we could see there is so much to do there. A lot of college kids were having fun playing volleyball, pickleball and soccer. It's a beautiful park.

Such a fun place to gather and play. Lots of grass and a new playground. We've been coming here for years and love the location. The grass is green and the trees are tall and big. These are winter pictures but the summers are nice and shady

Great place to enjoy a nice day. Pickle 🥒 ball courts are always full of people having fun. Playground has many attractions for the kids, and the park is always well kept. I'd recommend this to anyone needing to get outside for some good R & R.

Great for younger kids and toddlers!! The climbing obstacles are short enough to the ground that super young kids can be comfortable climbing, but enough that older (3-5ish) can still have fun too.

This is an okay park. I was here while on a business trip down to St. George. While I had a pleasant time here, it would have been much better if I had my kids and dog here. There are a ton of really fun looking toys here for kids to play on. There are a bunch of picnic spots where you host fun family get-togethers. There are also a bunch of charcoal grills scattered around the park, too. If you want to play volley ball, there is a place for that, as well.

10/10 name! Great place for pickleball, bouncing balls, running and napping! Playground is wheelchair friendly! Btw adults should be cautious getting off the swings. because the swings are low to the ground your foot can easily catch on the ground and fling you off.

Absolutely love Vernon Worthen Park. It’s alive. People are relaxing, walking, playing with kids , walking well behaved dogs. It feels a bit like the simple past we used to know where people are out and about and off their phones. Love it.

Park is located in the middle of downtown St George Utah. Was clean and nice. Plenty of area for the kids to run around. They have a kids play area. Tons of green grass and picnic tables. Lots of shade trees and a walking path with mile markers.

Love taking our large farm dog here pretty much daily. She can run and chase a ball. The trees are huge and the roots and burls are fascinating to study if only they could talk. What a lot of history they have seen. It’s charming, it’s in view of the temple and the Saturday market is first rate!

One of the best parks in town for equipment variety. Things to do for both toddlers and bigger kids. Beautiful place for a picnic.

Accessibility 10/10 Toddler friendly 8/10 Lots of grass, largest park trees in town so there is always great shade on the grass. Lots of homes less people but never had any issues (and they deserve a place to be). No water feature, and the playground covering doesn’t cover everything.

Lots of unique playground equipment that kept it pretty interesting. Also lots of sports courts, pavilion, grassy areas, etc. Overall a good park to visit.

This might be the finest playground and park we've visited in a long time. Kids friendly. Water fountains bathrooms and picnic tables by entrance. Fun playgrounds of various climbs for all ages. The park is clean. Benches and some shades. It's a welcoming site and very relaxing to sit, watch children play. Highly recommended for any families.

Absolutely fantastic park. Huge mature trees provide shade. Tons of open green grass to be used by several groups at once. Center of town make it even more attractive. They renewed the pickle ball courts recently and they are now some of the best in the city. Love this town.

Great park! They had the Saturday market there and it was a nice location. Kids have a fun playground to visit. There is pickleball and sand volleyball courts. Plenty of open space on the grass with established trees that provide shade. There are things that need to be worked on but this park is well used and maintained.

How cool Vernon Worthen park is: we have Japanese students here on exchange that wanted to play volleyball and tennis. We went over to the volleyball courts and asked the locals if we could join them, and they totally put on a great show! We thought about tennis, and knew that there were pickle ball courts on the other side of the park so we headed over and found a couple college kids willing to let our students play with them. They were awesome! They took time to explain the rules and teach them how to play pickle ball. What a fantastic park and a fantastic community!

A classically fun spot within the St George City center. Lots of fun activities for the kids that keeps up with the trends. Lots of shade lots of grass and a great place all around. Centrally located and it's easy to grab a meal and then eat it here. I highly recommend it.

This is the new venue for the St. George Farmer's Market! Lots of space for food trucks and vendors. Also has 2 covered picnic areas for sitting down to eat. A playground for kids, pickle ball and volleyball courts too! Rest rooms are also available. A sidewalk for running or walking along the periphery of the park has mile markers. Great park with lots of room for more vendors.

This park is lovely. There are many trees for shade, benches, tables, and a cute old gazebo too. Lots of space for soccer, running, and playing Pickel ball and volleyball courts, an updated playground with cool swings. You'll find something fun to do here for sure. I've always enjoyed my time here
