If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would! Their front desk staff gave excellent customer service, the housekeeping staff was kind, and their kitchen/dining staff was great to wake up to when it came to enjoying their stellar continental breakfast! Best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel! I felt like I was at a restaurant enjoying a buffet! They even have someone who makes omelettes for you per order, and you can choose what toppings you want. Beds were comfy and rooms were very accommodating. My grandparents were very appreciative of the wheelchair accessible room with the walk in shower. This helped them greatly! We loved the refreshing strawberry lemon water in the front lobby! I was very impressed with my stay, and will never stay anywhere else in St. George! Thank you to all the staff at the Best Western Abby Inn in St. George! You guys are the best of the best!!

I stayed here for a single night as part of a multi-day car trip. The hotel is situated right off the freeway and within walking distance of numerous restaurants. A gas station is right across the street. The staff welcomed me graciously, explained the services offered and got me through the check-in process quickly. My room was large and well appointed. I did not ask for an accessible room, so I don't know if mine is typical. The bathroom was outfitted with numerous grab bars and there was a stand-alone chair that appeared to be provided for bathing. There was no counter space to speak of, just a sink in the corner that was a little cramped to use. I am taller than average and my head nearly reached the ceiling in the shower, which was uncomfortable. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, the fridge worked and the air conditioner was relatively quiet. I'm not a big breakfast person, but did stop in for a bagel and coffee. Even early in the morning, the place was busy, and they offered a huge variety of food options that looked and smelled delicious.

HOTEL IN DECLINE This had been my favorite hotel on the I-15, and I have stayed here many times. I noticed the last time things weren’t good, but I blamed it on the pandemic. Now I have to admit it’s just gone downhill. Pros: 1. Location is great 2. Complimentary breakfast has lots of options 3. Beds are comfortable 4. Rooms are large Cons: 1. Bathroom faucet had a fast steady drip 2. Dressing room with the bathroom sink and mirror does NOT have a light fixture, any light fixture at all. There’s a glow-ring around the mirror, but that’s it. There’s not enough light to do your make-up and certainly not enough light to find the alignment mark to put in your contact lenses 3. Upholstered furniture was filthy. Some were stained, another was covered in what looked dried, flaked off skin. The flakes were on the carpet, too. No one had vacuumed. 4. Small shower stall from the 1960’s – You don’t have space to bend over and shave your legs. Not all rooms lack a full shower but mine did (room 290). 5. Mildew around all sides of the shower 6. Shampoo/conditioner dispenser empty 7. Routine daily housekeeping service was not restored after covid. It’s by special-request only. I only stayed one night, so this didn’t affect me. I was surprised, though, because the Best Western I’d just come from serviced my room daily. I visited the front desk about some of the problems but was told the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do. Best Western should monitor its franchisees more closely. One bad hotel reflects badly on all of its hotels.

I was really expecting more based on the high star ratings, price, and previous experiences with a best western plus. The hotel was old and dingy. The hotel and rooms smelled musty and of urine. The room was very outdated and dirty. Some parts of the room hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Also I pre booked and paid for a king room. When we checked in they only had queen rooms left, this was frustrating. Breakfast was slightly better than a typical hotel breakfast. Definitely wouldn’t return here or recommend.

Comfortable beds. Caring staff. Best breakfast compared to all other hotels that offer breakfast. Evening social hour with mixed sodas, salad bar and chips. I will stay here again. I hope to see you here :)

This hotel is a 5 star hotel in my mind!! The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the front desk was so pleasant and those serving breakfast were so kind and courteous. I was like they enjoyed their jobs. The breakfast spread was so amazing and delicious. The nachos and salad bar in the evening took it over the top! Super stellar place to stay!

This hotel is great. The breakfast was outstanding. They even have an omelet station, but I was told they do not advertise it because sometimes they are unable to staff it. There is an "unwind hour" on Monday to Thursday with one free beer or wine. There is soda for kids with a selection of flavors that can be added. There is a free salad bar and nachos. Pizza can be ordered for a reasonable price. This is a great option if you would like a simple dinner without leaving the hotel. The beds are very comfortable, and I would say the mattresses are on the soft side, which I like. Our room had a useful sink outside the bathroom by a microwave and fridge. The room was clean and quiet. There is a good selection of satellite TV stations, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The check in staff are very friendly. They sell basic items like snacks and toiletries. The pool is very nice with a small kiddie pool and a big hot tub. The location is great with plenty of restaurants and even a family fun center close by.

Every staff member we had an interaction with was so kind and friendly. The hotel was clean. Check-in was a breeze. Housekeeping was nice and helpful. The food servers were kind. The pool cleaner was nice enough to clean the kiddie pool with no problem Thanks for the great service!

The check in couldn't have been easier. Jenna & Garret were very helpful & welcoming & greeted us with smiles. Jenna went over and beyond to accommodate me by honoring my special request as well. This us my second time staying here within two months for conventions. The staff is always friendly, breakfast is very good and the location is superb. We always tip the housekeeping staff because they do a good job as well. The hotel seems newer as well and we will stay there again. If you stay here, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Jenna & to the entire staff

    - Breakfast: Definitely a highlight here. Had range including cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, pancakes/waffles, bacon. - Gym: Gym was tiny but it worked. Had dumbbells up to 50lb, a treadmill, elliptical and press/flat bench seat. The staff here were very friendly. There is a daily happy house during the week but we missed it. Location is nice, close to town and walkable distance to a few restaurants.

Nice hotel, bedding was OK, but the rooms are starting to look a little dated. It’s great that this hotel does not gouge the customer for a pet fee. It’s tough when you travel with a small dog, as often hotels, such as this one, put you into a dog room that is sprayed with a chemical probably to try to remove other dogs smell. Unfortunately, the spray was so strong, we asked for another room, but the other dog room smelled just as bad. Best Western, there has to be another way for your customers with animals. This hotel also charges a $50 fee that is to be credited back to our credit card between 7 and 20 days. This matter was discussed with management and that the fee is credited sooner. Nonetheless, if the fee is to be charged for damage, then management should give consideration to the customer to look at the room just before they leave and credit the account within a day or the same day. Anything longer looks like Best Western is just using our money. We were told, that this is a common practice. But the other two Best Westerns that we stayed in on the road did not charge a hold or damage deposit fee. We did receive an apology from Management by email. The sales manager, that I discussed this matter with was very polite and understanding. On a good note, Best Western Abbey offered a drink and snacks during happy hour which were very good. There was also ample parking for our truck and travel trailer. The included breakfast was also very good.

It’s really easy to tell how much care and love the employees put into making this Best Western a wonderful place. We really appreciated the customer service at the front desk. They went above and beyond to help when we forgot to pack a port-a-crib. We also had a sweet moment with the breakfast team, when we had our kiddos practice saying “thank you” and the breakfast team was so organized and responsive and kind and even let the kiddos pick out a mini toy (it was another example of above-and-beyond-service). Well done to the entire team that works here!!

For the price our stay was very nice. Just one minor issue, a spot on the carpet smelled of pet urine, so we borrowed some febreze from the staff and then it was no problem. Everything else was great, including the breakfast. Also appreciate the option of declining housekeeping service everyday, to save on resources. Will definitely stay here again!

I'm actually backtracking here to write this review after a stay in Vegas that was mediocre compared to Abbey Inn. Rooms are nice , the Abbey had a great pool area and even a crane to get handicap people into the pool. The included breakfast buffet was fabulous and they will do made to order omelettes and eggs etc. Staff is very nice and my stay was pleasant. I would đź’Ż stay here again, no need to look else where.

I can not say enough good things about this property. It is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are excellent, and the amenities are wonderful. The decor is tastefully done and updated. Our room was a family suite and was very spacious. We participated in the Unwind hour, and it was very well executed. Delicious little snacks, drinks, and welcoming. Just a little something to help settle in after a long drive in. The location is PERFECT. Located just off the freeway, making it easy on and off. Lots of restaurants in walking distance, from sit down to fast food, it's all very close. They offer a shuttle service if needed as well as bikes(for rewards members). After dinner, we went to the pool, which was also very well cared for, and they offered a very nice gym and towels. The next morning, we partook in the breakfast they offe, and it was outstanding. There are so many options. Fresh, clean, hot, and cold options. This is NO continental breakfast. This property will definitely be our go-to when in St. George.

The rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed including a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The breakfast in the morning is really great with lots of options including a build your own omelet station. Great service. Highly satisfied.

It’s right off the interstate. They serve a huge breakfast buffet in the morning with plenty of choices. The kiddos have pool toys provided poolside and you have a grill to fix food on. Every afternoon they have snacks and drinks. The rooms really exceed expectations for the price point.

After having eye surgery, my mom and I needed to stay in St George for the night to see her doctor the next AM. Knowing the good reputation of Abbey Inn from family who had done work for the owners I thought we better try it first. It was a very short drive from the surgical center, and the staff price matched the price I saw online. My mom and I are both light sleepers and staff accommodated our needs for rooms farthest from the elevators and main road. The top floor is under a bit of construction, mainly swapping out the carpeting in rooms. We were fine with it as it meant we were the only guests on the top floor and the crews were gone by 5 or 6 PM and didn’t arrive until after we were up the next day. The salad and snack bar in the evening was a wonderful surprise, and the large breakfast was the best we have had in a hotel. Despite construction, the hotel was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and exactly what we needed as my mother recovered from surgery. We felt very safe in the area and inside the hotel. If we ever need to stay in the area again, we’ll stay here. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience at an impeccable rate!

The accommodations and amenities were excellent for the price. Nestled right off the 15 freeway, it was a convenient, comfortable, and pet-friendly place for my 2 dogs and I to rest in the middle of a long, interstate journey. There were plenty of options for breakfast and the hours for eating (6am - 10am) were generous compared to other hotels. I was pleased to see French toast on the menu! It was also nice to have a little kitchenette area with its own sink. There is parking on all sides of the hotel, as well as entrances, making getting in and out of the building a quick and easy affair. There was at least one designated pet potty spot for my dogs to do their business with plenty of encouragement to do so (urine smell). Plastic bags were readily available to keep the area free of poo piles. Upon booking, I asked for a pet friendly room and it came wonderfully equipped with a large pet bed, two metal bowls in a non-slip holder, a chew toy, and two milkbone dog treats wrapped in clear plastic.

St George is always a stop on our way to Vegas from Denver and we typically stay at another hotel that has since closed. After reading the reviews for the Abbey Inn we booked a room. Best Best Western we’ve ever stayed at and this is now our go to for an overnight in St George. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the breakfast staff we encountered nothing but good service. The room was clean and functional. The breakfast is one of the best we have ever had at a hotel. Well done!

Stayed here after a full day at Zion NP. Drive time from the park to the hotel was approx. 45 minutes. Front desk at check-in was fast and friendly. Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was 5 stars. Was able to order a custom omelet. Lots of variety in breakfast options. Had bikes you could use at no charge. I would definitely return to this hotel.

A great place to stay for the whole family! The front desk staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful every time we talked with them. The rooms were good (we had a one bedroom with 2 queens) and it worked well for our family of 4. The outside pool was great for ending our days after hiking in the mornings. They had a pool basketball hoop with a basketball and there were pool noodles and a beach ball for guests' use too. There were plenty of lounge chairs and tables and chairs. Pool towels were always stocked. The free breakfasts were amazing! Not your typical hotel "breakfast ". Fresh fruits, lots of options from eggs, potatoes, bacon, waffles, biscuits and gravy, toast, pastries, fresh made omelets, coffee, fruit juices, etc.! Monday-Thursday they had Unwind Hour from 5-7 with a salad bar, nachos, popcorn, and sodas (this was included in our stay). I highly recommend this hotel. It was in a central location to do Zion, Bryce, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

The services were wonderful, better than expected. The front desk was friendly and provided me with all the information about the amenities. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The nacho bar at night was great. The room was clean. The checkout procedure was easy. I'd definitely stay here again when I come down for the same conference next year.

Hotel is in a great location! Decently priced and clean! The front desk staff was kind and helpful. She also told me to make sure I had breakfast before I left. And thank god I did. For a hotel the breakfast was hot, fresh, had quite a few options and most of all tasty. restaurant quality! Room was clean and comfortable! Will stay again!

A cozy little hotel nestled amongst restaurants, fast food, and numerous resources on a quiet side of town. The rooms were well stocked on the usual coffee / tea / water with a microwave, fridge, sink, and coffee maker. The cleanliness of the room was the first thing I took in, it did not feel like a typical best western, it felt like something much more. I can say this was some of the best sleep I’ve had in a hotel in awhile. They also had a good breakfast!

We had a great time staying here over the weekend. Staff was very friendly and the complementary breakfast was much appreciated. The AC unit in our room had a loud rattle at night (we just used earplugs) and the beds weren’t the most comfortable either - seemed they were at a weird slant. Overall, we love staying here and will definitely return next time we are in St George.

The rooms are always spotless and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have breakfast and an "Unwind Hour" daily. Salad bar, 1 complimentary beer or wine in the evening. They sell water and snacks in a space near check in desk. We've stayed a few times and we will definitely be back. Jason helped me with some snacks and hand lotion. What a delight he was! An asset to your company.

So I go to this hotel and we are told after housekeeping has left that if we want our room cleaned, new towels, bed made... That I have to ask before 9 am. If I didn't want my room cleaned I would have rented a VRBO. My wife and I have Diamond Statues with Best Western and this is a disgrace. I pay to stay at a hotel to have my room cleaned daily and new towels. We will find another hotel to stay in next time. We were never notified about having to use a door hanger. That should be part of check in. We were told that housekeeping was done for the day. Buyer beware! Poor service should never be the excuse of a pandemic or lazy front desk. You had 2 on duty all day. BUYER BEWARE!

We have stayed here multiple times and have always had a great stay. We have family in Colorado and we stop here for the night along our trip each time. Recently, my son and his family moved to Virginia and they stayed here for a resting place and then my daughter and her new husband were transferred to Virginia too so they stayed as well. This spot has become sorta of a family tradition you could say. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and nice continental breakfast.

We just stayed here the last couple of nights. It was wonderful! Every single staff member I interacted with was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and had so many options! I will definitely be staying here again.

The front desk staff was wonderful to work with. When I checked in, the sheets on the bed had stains so I had to call the front desk the next morning to have them changed. It was very obvious that someone had a bloody nose based on the location of the old blood stains that didn’t wash out. The king bed was super uncomfortable! I was told they were only 9 months old but it felt like you were laying in a saggy hammock. I had a reservation for three nights but left after the second night as my back couldn’t tolerate the bed anymore. I notified the front desk manager to let her know about the bed in 314. We had other people in our group that also had complaints about the beds too. The hotel rooms are outdated and ready for a major remodel. You can tell the bed headboard is new but that’s all. The rooms are very big which is a plus! The bathrooms were very clean. The water pressure was wonderful. The hotel was pretty full with guests but it didn’t sound like it as the room seemed to keep out the noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. The air conditioning unit worked very well and had the option to have the fan run. The room has a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. The full breakfast was wonderful for a hotel. It beats California BWs that offer prepackaged foods. They have so many breakfast options. The staff is very attentive in the breakfast area! 3 stars were give because of the bed issue and the need for remodeling the rooms.

First time staying at this hotel. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. They have beautiful flooring instead of carpet. We have 2 dogs that we are traveling with. They leave nice metal large dog bowels along with bottled water and treats for the dogs in the room. Staff is very friendly as well. Beautiful pool and landscape. It is so nice staying in a pet friendly hotel where there is no trace of urine. I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely be returning.
