Wow! After 10 hours on the road, I drive into this campground on a rainy rainy day to a welcoming friendly soul that upgraded me to a cabin from a tent site!! How wonderful is that??!!! As it continued to rain, Chris proceeded to invite me to the community pot luck dinner and Bingo! How could I say no to that!!! Carrie did an exceptional job as running the Bingo despite technical issues! A wee hike after dinner between raindrops turned out to be beautiful!! Exceptional customer service and cabin was cozy and dry!! Bathrooms clean and well maintained! Would stay here again without a doubt!!! THANK YOU for all the hospitality Carrie and Chris!

We only stayed one night on our trip from Manitoba to Nova Sctia but it was amazing. The owners are very friendly, courteous, helpful and accommodating. We had a great drive through site near the river. The seasonal campers that were there were also extremely friendly and helpful. Showers and washrooms were clean. Our dog, Katie, got a swim in before supper and then we all went for kareoke night. Very reasonable accommodation. Definitely would come back.

Nice views, very affordable, new owner is very friendly and accommodating. We arrived very late (10 pm) and she accommodated us! We have a 32 foot class C, making it in was a little hairy, would be hard for a larger rig to make it in. Services were great, pull through full service lot. Close enough to the trans canada!

Lovely warm greeting from Carrie and Chris upon arrival. The campground sits along a river and is very peaceful. Bathhouses are spotless.

I've had the privilege of staying here on two separate occasions in the cabin, the first time during an East coast exploration, then this time on an extended trip. They graciously let me stay before the camp was even open and have been accomidating and considerate. Totally recommend!

We have stayed here a few times with our trailer. Carrie and Chris add that personal touch that makes you feel sooo welcomed that you feel like you've known them forever. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs and more....so much that were going seasonal. Our Dog , just loves the swimming there and enjoys playing with their dog Jaxs. The view is beautiful . And the people that all camp their are sooo friendly. You can either tent or get a cabin s or bring your trailer. Tons of activities at different times to join in if your looking to do so .or canoe or fish etc.

We were lucky enough to book the cottage on very short notice (same day) after other travel plans fell through. Carrie was extremely helpful to get us booked and provide all necessary information for check in, she even delivered firewood before our arrival. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed, nothing was missing. We were greeted with a beautiful rainbow over the river shortly after arriving and a perfect sunset sky followed. I wish we had been staying longer than one night, we will definitely be back

We stayed at River Run for two separate nights on our way to Cape Breton and back. The great experience with the campground even started in the email communication with the owner. I didn’t expect Carrie responded so fast. When we arrived, she and Chris were so kind that they upgraded our campsite to a lovely cabin. The campground is not just a family business. Moreover, I truly feel the couple run this as a community with heart! At our 1st night, we were so lucky to watch the fireworks at the riverfront, which is part of the activities they host. Definitely recommend it no matter whether you visit New Brunswick, head to Nova Scotia, or just want to find a nice place for camping a few days!
