Had a great stay with family.. there is a park and swimming pool. Convenient for family with children...there is no life guard so an adult needs to present if children want to swim in shallow side of the pool

Incredible location! The rooms were in desperate need of repair; I am nor sure if they were damaged during the hurricane or just very rundown from use. The staff were bizarrely unfriendly. The cottages themselves were pretty small. I appreciated the playground and outdoor pool for my kids.

Spent 4 days here with 3 other families (8 kids between us). Everyone had a blast, zero complaints. The playground setup is fantastic for letting the kids run and play but still being close enough to watch them.

Cute cabins along the water, great spot for kids having a playground surrounded by the cabins and set up well for at home dining. Awesome view of the sunset, quiet and good pricing!

Really enjoyed our stay here. We loved the location and the manager was very responsive to our needs. Will come again if we are back. Thanks!

The location is nice, with decent views, and the unit as a whole was reasonably clean. The toilet had not been cleaned properly when we arrived (we disinfected it as well as we could), and the toilet seat was loose (we had to tighten the screws, otherwise it would have been unusable). The toilet still emanates a strong urine smell, we could not find any strong disinfectant in the room to fix the issue. The king size bed, although very comfortable, came with only two (old and flat) pillows, and one thin fleece blanket. I went to the owner to ask for a couple of extra pillows, an extra blanket and a kettle, he must have found those requests strange because at one point he burst laughing. Our cabin (#12) is not in great shape, esp. outside (see picture). The bedroom window is unusable (needs to be fixed), and the front door lock is getting finicky and likely on its last miles. In the cupboards, we found ONE wine glass and TWO forks (a regular one and a dessert one). We first had to wash the plates and utensils we used, as they didn't look clean. The yard fronting the shore has several mismatched items, some poorly maintained, and frankly looks kind of sad. The place definitely needs some TLC.

Very peaceful here and the view is gorgeous! We stayed in the Seagull Cottage. It has a king-sized bed in it's own bedroom, bathroom with a walk in shower stall for accessibility, and a kitchen/living room with a pull out sofa, dining table that seats 6, cable TV, radio, air conditioner, rocking chair and coffee table. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, sink, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. There are plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, pots, pans, eating utensils, cooking utensils, can opener etc. - Everything you need to prepare your own meals. No carpet. Lots of towels. The cottage has a front porch (3 steps up) with a view of the beach and lawn chairs to sit on. There is also a propane BBQ and you can park right next to the cottage. Very comfortable and homey - so much nicer than a hotel or motel. There is a pool, playground for little children, firepit with chairs, and stairs to get down to the beach. The cottages are located a couple minutes away from Green Gables and a good selection of fast food eateries in Cavendish.
