    Bought an engagement ring for my now fiance in August. Sent it away to be engraved. They sent it to the wrong place and it took months to return. Then, an accent diamond fell out. Ok fine this happens. It took another 3 months to repair. It's now April and the ring has been gone for longer than she has had it. Absolutely unacceptable service. The ring is beautiful, it would just be nice is my fiance had it. Just go elsewhere.

    Well if going to a place with great staff matters to you, this place stands out! The lady and gentleman that work behind the counter are exceptional at what they do and have on numerous occasions saved the day with getting what we needed on time and looking as good as it can in custom ring boxes! We would definitely recommend this location!

    I have dealt with people's for quite a few years now. Some of the employees are much better to deal with them others. Matt the manager there is great and that's who i try to deal with most of the time. I've had some issues with my rings and hes always made it right with me.

    The Staff at this location will go above and beyond to help you with your shopping. Regardless if your making a small purchase or large the strive to make it a good experience. Always ask for sales as sometimes they are not advertised clearly and you might save a lot on your choices.

    The product (engagement ring) is fantastic and was a great price but the service leaves something to be desired. Had mixed results when going in with her to view rings with some employees being very enthusiastic and helpful and other seeming to either ignore us or appear bored showing us rings. At the time of purchase I was the only person in the store with three employees and was ignored for 5 minutes before being asked to help. After this point the woman was helpful and very nice during the sale. I was also advised to not have the ring sized initially and to bring it back in after giving it to her as it would only take "a couple days" to size. I proposed this past weekend and took the ring in today only be be told it would take 3 weeks to size which is obviously disappointing and hopefully not a sign of long term service we can expect. Ultimately she loves the ring so I am happy with the product but I would have bought it somewhere else if the same ring were available simply based on the service notes above.

    Unlike other jewelry stores in the mall, they didn't avoid us when we came in to go shopping.... They were nice and knowledgeable. Spent a good chunk of change here the other places lost out on due to their attitude and poor customer service.

    First purchase arrived from warehouse damaged. Offered a repair. We stated no its new product we want it replaced. They stated that wasnt possible. After some negotiations and arguing they offered return to warehouse & credit in 3-5 days. We discussed some more and got instant refund to gift card so we could re-order what the wife wanted straight away. (You take my money instantly for an item, you can refund it instantly too when the product is not as described and arriving several days later). Second ordered ring arrived in store on sep 6th according to tracking. No one called us. Spent 15+ phone calls trying to get someone to answer to get an update over the last 3 days. Called today at opening on 09/18. Finally someone answered for them to just go yep it's here. No apology for not calling us to come get what we had paid for. Went into store to pickup ring. Guy was nice and got everything done and we moved along the counter. I went to look at a watch for myself. I was ignored for 15+mins and eventually just walked out. I had a sales Rep lock eyes with me and then just acted like we didn't exist. Customer service is a thing of the past apparently. If I'm going to spend $300+ on something I would appreciate a little service. I'm truly disappointed. I expected better.

    I ordered a ring online in March 2023. I received it at the end of March. I had the ring for almost 4 weeks, and then the stone in the middle of the ring fell out. As soon as I noticed I brought the ring into the store. The man who dealt with me was very nice. I was told it would take 5 weeks to get the ring back, which was fine. However, 5 weeks later, I got a phone call from an employee saying that my ring was sent to the wrong jeweler and that it was being sent back to the store to be sent out to the correct jeweler. Ok, mistakes happen, I wasn't happy, but I dealt with it. So now it was the end of June, and I haven't received a phone call about my ring yet, so I called the mic Mac mall location and I was told my ring was still in the store and wasn't sent out to be fixed yet. So, from the end of April to the end of June, when I finally called, my ring could have been sent off to get fixed and back to me. I dont know why management is not reviewing orders and making sure everything is sent off where it's supposed to go. I called back the store 2 days later since no one bothered to call me back, I was told 3 weeks, and I got the phone call yesterday that my ring was therecustomer, and I will be thinking twice before ordering from peoples again. I'm not a happy customer.

    Miss the Peoples Jewellers (Eileen and Maria) we had in Sydney. But the Dartmouth Mic Mac Mall location has its own treasure in Matt D. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. A simple cleaning and inspection turned into a great transfer of information and shopping experience.

    I brought a ring in for a very simple repair and was told it would take 5-7 weeks. It has been well over 2 months. They will not pick up their phone and have not contacted me at all in regards to my ring. This To say the customer service is horrible is an understatement. I will never be dealing with Peoples again.

    Drive two hours to have my rings sent for service. Waited 20 minutes to get in. Took forever to get paperwork done. Machine to verify diamond number was broken, web site to send other ring for repair down. another two hours in store. Not happy. Stores closed in local area. Not dealing with them again.

    I was blown away by the awesome customer service here. They go above and beyond for their customers and you can tell they really care. Went in to ask for help with an older necklace that was bought from there that was very tangled and needed a bit of a cleaning. The lady there was very friendly and patient and did way more for me than I was expecting. I left feeling very happy!
