4/22/23 - 5/22/23 This is a cozy comfortable friendly clean hotel. Easy driving to most everything in St Joseph. Excellent pool, there were many pool birthday parties during my stay as well as several wedding receptions. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate every request. The breakfast was hot and plentiful and delicious. I recommend this hotel to any traveler. Wide stairs or use 2 dependable elevators. Nice outside space. Pet friendly. The pool is a swim through to outside. Large hot tub. Comfortable beds and pillows. I didn't get a picture of the breakfast area but I did include pictures of the lounge.... good drinks.

Great hotel! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was cool, very comfortable and rustic. Really liked the attention to detail. Breakfast was definitely better than most. Pool and jacuzzi felt great after a long day of driving. Nice that it stayed open until 11:00PM. I'll definitely stay here on my way thru.

Randomly came across this little gem by chance on our way home from Glacier NP. What a wonderful place with great vibes and a really cool decor throughout. And a hot tub in the living room to boot?! Can’t beat it. Way better than any chain and a good price. Staff at check in and bar were wonderful.

This was a very nice place to Stay. We had a favorite family reunion get together there. We were in the bar that night which is small but the bartender was Friendly. The music was way too loud but she was nice to turn it down so we could talk. If you are sensitive to chlorine you can smell it in the lobby fairly strong but I couldn't smell it in the hotel room. The continental breakfast was typical but everything tasted fresh. The rooms were clean and the TV worked fine.

This is by far the nicest place I've stayed in many years!! Large, exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms, and the best, most helpful and friendly staff I have seen in many years. Amenities include both indoor and outdoor pools, a small bar and good breakfast included make this a great place for an extended stay as well as just a short travel break!!

The hotel is a little cooky. Needs some renovations. Couldn't get any hot water for a shower, went to the front desk and was told it had to run for 15-20 minutes before it would get hot. I let it run for 20 minutes and it finally did get hot. Our shampoo and conditioner were empty but the front desk gave us new ones, pretty sure that should have been checked before we got in the room though. The worst part was the workers brought their own children with them and when I was trying to complete work online where I had to record video and could not do it in the hotel room because of my own family the worker's kids followed me from room to room making noise and throwing footballs in the hallways. I literally went to 3 different places and they came to each place! They knew I was trying to get away from them and be in a quiet place also. All in all I probably would not stay here again.

A very unique hotel/lodge, staff was very pleasant and professional, very clean throughout and we had a very pleasant and quiet night of sleep. Nicely located and easy to access. Highly recommend one stay here for sure.

We stay at this location at least once a year (for our anniversary), and it's always a pleasant stay. However, I've noticed that for our last 2 stays, a smell of cigarette smoke. I bought this to the attention of the front desk at checkout, and she told us it's hard to catch the people when they're doing it, but when they are caught, they will be charged for it. When you come to this hotel, please don't smoke. 1) It's illegal, and 2) it makes the whole floor smell terrible. We also had some issues with the cleanliness of our room/bathroom, but this was also mentioned at checkout, and she was very nice and accommodating. I'm sure we'll be back again.

Awesome place to book a stay. I had a flat tire and decided to stay in St. Joe since I was so far from home and I don't regret booking here at all. The ladies at the front were super nice and even helped me check in early. The room was quiet, clean and I felt pampered. The breakfast sausage and potatoes really hit the spot. I wish I could of tried the pool but I peered in and it looked awesome. Thank you so much for the pleasant stay when I was so stressed out!

This place is so, so cute. It has a very lodge feel to it, and I loved it. The person at the front desk was amazing. The room was big and perfect. I literally have no complaints. The location has so many restaurants around it. There is a delicious donut shop near it. Due to the maid service being so excellent, we were able to check in early. We asked if we could be put on the 3rd floor, and they were kind enough to allow it. It is completely worth the price. We only stayed one night since we were traveling, but I wish we could have stayed longer. If you need a place to stay in this area, this place is perfect. If I am ever in the area again, I’m staying here 100%

We had a very nice experience at this hotel. the room was clean and had everything as advertised. Breakfast was pretty decent as well really like the pancakes they are definitely using better quality batter then some of the other hotels. The eggs however were made from powdered eggs and not very good quality powdered scrambled eggs.

Great hotel and conference center with a lodge feel and decor. I've attended meetings and conferences here and have stayed overnight previously during ice storms and power outages. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and updated. The beds are very comfortable. I like the extra sitting/living area on each floor, too, which adds to the overall lodge feel. I recommend this property when friends, family and colleagues are in the area. A+

Lovely lodge style setting. Large rooms. Very quiet. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was serve yourself and had an abundance of variety from cold cereals to hot food. We plan to return for the holidays.

I was totally impressed with our room. We got the room with a king bed and Jacuzzi tub. It was really nice and clean! You can tell it's an older hotel but we were glad we stayed there. If you need to stay in St Joseph,MO. I highly recommend Stoney Creek Inn.

What a sweet, cozy hotel. We ran into weather driving back to Nebraska from the MCI airport and did a quick search and found this reasonable option to stay at so we didn’t have to stress about icy roads. Wonderful gal answered the phone and confirmed they had room and would check us in when we got there. It was Christmas time so the charm of the lodge look and feel with Christmas decor was straight out of a movie. The room was very clean, a little dated, but was very comfortable. The breakfast (included) was good. It was your typical hotel breakfast - nothing amazing - but still a nice, convenient option. Overall, we really enjoyed this spot and the staff were very kind.
