Interior and roof top dining were only I liked. We were so disappointed of the food. Their cheese burger were burn and taste like ash, perch was so small. Two burgers and fried fish on lunch cost $80. Not worth it.

Came here for birthday dinner for my wife. She had pearch and shrimp with garlic butter mashed potatoes. And I had stroganoff with creamy wine sauce, mushrooms and steak tips that melt in your mouth and as always adult beverages. If you get lucky enough to have Alex for your server, you won't be disappointed.

Waitresses were too late. Long wait time. Fire cracker shrimp is definitely over hyped. I’m a shrimp lover but I was not able to eat more than 5 shrimps as the taste was bad. Too expensive as well.

This place certainly defied my expectations! And they were already high based on the great location and atmosphere. Everyone was super friendly and it was doubtlessly one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. The truffle fries were also delicious. Nice and crispy and perfectly flavored.

View was great, live music on the roof was awesome and the service was prompt and the waitress was so nice. The food… The food was not very good. I had a Caesar salad with shrimp, the dressing was oddly flavored & the shrimp was cold and not flavorful at all. My friend ordered a filet mignon cooked medium, it was still mooing practically and lukewarm, her baked potato was cold and really bland. The only good food item we had was the artichoke dip, which was very good. Would come back for the rooftop view and music, would order food somewhere else though.

First of all, The waiter that we had the pleasure to serve us does an amazing job. Service is impeccable, period! Food is good and overall atmosphere pleasant. Highly recommended!

We ate upstairs, it was busy but we got a seat right away, thankfully, we were starving after a long ride from Chicago. Server was very attentive and the food was amazing. My daughter tried the fish tacos and enjoyed Mahi Mahi for the first time and loved it. I only rated a four because it was very loud. There was a table of children with their mother and they were very disrespectful, disruptive and had tantrums. I felt really bad for the couple next to them. I don't usually complain about kids but the mother seemed oblivious. It was sad and made me uncomfortable.

THE VIEW. I love a lake view, pair that with amazing food? Sign up me up, twice! The fish was fried so perfectly, it was even good as leftovers. The beet salad was surprisingly flavorful and had balanced texture. The mocktail was refreshing. All that with great company, it was a great experience.

Nice rooftop view of the lake combined with the friendly service, great quality food, and fair prices, makes for one of the best places to eat in downtown. I highly recommend The RyeBelle Burger because it was so juicy and beefy combined with the smoky taste of the grill and homemade brioche bun made for one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. My wife got the Margherita pizza and she absolutely loved it! Would definitely comeback if I’m in the area again!

Service was great. Thanks Erica B. Ceviche was delicious, wonderful avocado sauce. BBQ pizza was spot on as well. Blackberry whiskey sour a little too sweet for my taste but, what do you expect from a Blackberry Whiskey Sour 😁

Great food. We enjoyed a cocktail on the outside rooftop patio, then went inside for a veggie pizza and some calamari. All the food tasted great! Service was great on the inside restaurant!

Stopped in for Friday dinner. Rooftop was full, but the hostess assured us there was no waiting for the dining room and showed us immediately to a table. The waitress brought us water and took our drink order. Our Ahi Tuna appetizer came out quickly, and was delicious. A different version than they had in the past. It's always hard to choose from the well designed menu. We ordered the Lake Perch dinner, Belle's Chicken, and the (fantastic) Brussels Leaf Salad, minus bacon, to share. Sides of baked/mashed potatoes and asparagus. All perfectly prepared and presented. I've never had a bad dish, let alone a meal, here. The waitress was gracious and pleasant. She seemed to be the only one for the whole floor, with an occasional hand from the kitchen delivering meals. How she managed as well as she did while keeping her smile, I don't know.

We have always enjoyed the ambiance and food in the past. We went to Rye Belles tonight for our Anniversary and we're disappointed that the higher prices did not include a side and bread was also cut out. We paid $27 for perch and cole slaw (tasted fermented) with no side. We also ordered the salmon that did not come with a side. The main entrees we're good but not enough for what we paid. Even though we ordered an appetizer we still went away hungry and paid almost $100 by the time we left a tip. We will no longer go to Rye Belles or recommend it to others.

The firecracker shrimp was excellent! It's spicy though! I also enjoyed the civeche very much! It's rare to find that! Thank you!

THE FOOD: The walleye was hot and fall-apart tender, crispy and flavorful crust. Some pinbones, but that's whatever. Their carrot side dish was excellent, and their mashed potatoes had a creamy garlic taste to them. THE VIBE: Intimate table seating, low-key bar seating towards the middle, moody lighting, cozy fireplace. THE SERVICE: I sat at the bar, there was plenty of room. The bartender got to me right away and was consistently attentive, and my food came out quickly. Definitely will come back, I try to eat here whenever I'm near SJ.

We changed tables because those by the open windows are full of ants. The hostess felt that was normal and that vwiping the table should be good enough for us!? We ordered the 20 oz steak, but it was nowhere near that size. I'd say 10 oz, and of that, a lot was fat and bone. Sure, it's a nice view, but it's not worth the overpriced mediocre items. If you're going for brick oven pizza like I was, they say their oven has been broken since the start of the summer.

We ordered the Fireside Shrimp appetizer. OMG!! The serving size was wonderful. The subtle zing was delightful. It was by far, the best we have ever had, across many states!! The adult beverages were full bodied! Sofia was our server and very professional and attentive. Can't begin to say enough good things about our dining experience.

Lovely resturants for date night or fine cocktails. Fair prices for the quality of food, service, and ambiance. Would recommend for special occasions or classy date nights. Special menus have great rotating options! The cowboy ribeye was a delightful bone in Ribeye Steak. The parmasian crusted walleye on the regular menu was also wonderful. The service from our staff Alex was superb! We will definitely be back in the near future!

We chose RyeBelle’s based on its proximity to the beach. It’s just a short walk to beautiful Lake Michigan! My husband and I both ordered perch. It didn’t disappoint!

Fantastic service and dee licious food! Walleye & Ribeye Steak sandwich. My husband said the steak was VERY TENDER. I did think that woman's bathroom could use a floral arrangement or better handwashing soap.

Loved the setting and food! I had a filet, which was delicious! We also were lucky to sit out on the deck, which provided a nice setting of the town and lakefront.

Cozy spot to enjoy a meal. Lucky to get spot in front of fireplace after ice skating for an hour. My teen really like her scallops but wished for more!

Great rooftop bar, great atmosphere. Server was very new but doing a great job and had a great attitude. In general they seemed way understaffed. More than other places around. Maybe they should pay their workers better. Food was decent, had better, had worse.

I was delightfully surprised at the quality of the service and food. I had the fish tacos and they were prepared perfectly accompanied by a wonderful portion of rice and a pineapple and mango salsa. My daughter had a nice grilled chicken sandwich. My son ordered the hamburger. Both were accompanied by home- made chips. Overall the service was attentive but not overly intrusive. The only negative I observed was the interior of the restaurant was a little dark and dated. We will definitely return to this restaurant. A wonderful experience!
