Beacon RV Park

Rv park

🫀 Staff is friendly and helpful. My site was not level with gravel and mud. After a rain there was a pond at my front door. No concrete pad to make safe entry/exit from my rig. Landing gear sank in the mud, making the rig unlevel after a couple of days. Wi-Fi is spotty if it works. People often mention park,

Spent 2 days here late April 2021 @ $38.79 per day. This is a very old park with-in the city limits and has many full-time residents. Many residents have been here many years with all the junk outside to prove it. The Wi-Fi is very poor (between 300Kbps to 2.5Mbps), electric & sewer worked as designed. The water is at 60 PSI. No cable provide but I picked up 20 OTA TV stations. Few worthwhile. Big rig do-able but barely. Lots of older trees and grass between sites. Site are back-in and concrete pad is broken and unlevel. Parking on the street which makes it difficult to drive. 1 employee has 2 huge dogs which barked at us every time we walked by. Several shady looking people driving (speeding) and/or walking thru the park. The bathrooms/showers/laundry were clean and new. Laundry was $2.75 to wash and $.50 (30 minutes) to dry. No picnic table or fire ring provided. Because this park is within the city limits, there was a lot city noises (sirens, music from cars, trucks). Verizon worked well. There is nothing here to justify $38 per night.

This is the second 4 day stay with the Beacon RV Park, all the other reviews comment on parking and having to back in and to that I say stop being a wuss and back that trailer in! I want to say literally 1-2 tries and we were in straight and level. To get down to it the owners and EVERYONE in the park are so sweet and kind. Our door didn’t latch and lock when we left and our poor dog got out. Not only did they shut our door and call us to tell us what happened but they personally helped us look for our dog for HOURS. Fast forward to 5 hours later, the neighbor was walking his dog and just walked my dog home to me. Great, safe, and friendly environment always.

Quick stop for RV waste management mid travel. Friendly staff, easy access, and glad we were able to use the facilities for a reasonable fee of $10. We had temporary access to water hook up, sewage disposal, and power.

This park is located inside the city limits and I almost passed it. They have 46 sites but very few for short term/overnight. Most people live here and have for multiple years. Camp sites are crowded and trashy. I had pretty good wifi and Sprint signal is good. The lanes are very narrow and cars have to park in the street so it made it challenging to back into a space. (100% back in) Had I not needed a space for three days near family, I probably would have preferred to boon dock. I have stayed at rest stops with truckers near the highway that was quieter than this place. Not too crazy about this park. Will not stay in the future. However, if you want to shop... it is near a shopping center and many food places. Nothing here justifies the price of $38 a night. NOTHING I have been in nicer places with bigger spots, and cleaner for less than $30.

I visited here and it seems to be a clean - and crowded - place. Must be something there alot of people like!

In the middle of town, small park with mostly long term residents. A lot of vehicles parked in park roadway, thus a challenge to get backed into the space. It is down in a deep valley. Concrete pads were very broken up, yet pretty level. Owner waited for our arrival which was nice. Drive thru scare actually back to back back ins, so unless you get there early, it is a back in. Good size sites, quiet.

Cute park. Some of the sites are not very level. I've read the other reviews, I did not see any "shady" people and no one speeding and it was not loud at all. We went sightseeing and it was close to everything. The staff was very helpful. We walked our dogs around the whole park and didn't experience and aggressive barking or behavior from the other dogs. I'd definitely go back if we come back through! Town is very cute, fun and people are very nice!!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ This was our first time staying at a Love’s and will not be our last. This was a great experience! It was expensive for one night and only having water and electricity. It was very convenient though. It’s right off the interstate. Just follow the signage to the RV spots. The parking lot in front of...
