My husband and I enjoyed a mini date here. The first two items I tried to order were out. I ended up getting the oriental salad and it was very good! We relaxed, had a couple drinks and played trivia.

I went for the $1 margaritas and came out wrecked. Honestly best experience ever. Good service. Good food. It’s a blacked out blur but I’m pretty sure it ruled.

The Bourbon street steak used to be my all time favorite thing to order. The price is now doubled, offers only one side, has no baked potato option. It comes with mashed potato only. The waitress suggested I get them loaded, without mentioning it would be another 2.99 on top of the already over priced 18.99. It was the toughest steak I have ever eaten (partially that is). Very disappointed and will not return.

Saint Joseph Missouri Applebee's was very disappointing. After we drove an hour and a 1/2 to get there to have their special to find out that they ran out of the special the night before. But we could just have a order of the special at regular price. Don't get it. And then what we order was over cook and the sauce was not melted it was cold on top of the over cook stake. 😒

Their perfect margarita is truly PERFECT! And I know my margaritas. This place served us quickly and we had 2 small kids in tow. Great waitress that took good care of us.

This is the second time to this Applebees… Rather disappointing honestly. The food was average we had Boneless Chicken Wings that were dry and hard, and the burger was so, so. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. However, the bartender is slow… I'm not sure if she was also taking tables but she sure was chatting it up with other staff. I might try one more time, but probably not. ☘️✌️

Years ago I used to really like this place but my opinion now is the place should be torn down. The interior of the restaurant is dirty. The floors/carpet are disgusting. We probably should have walked out when I got their but we decided to give it a try since there were customers there. Whoever it was that sat us put us at a dirty table. We moved to the next booth. There was only one waitress. She did a good job keeping up with her tables and delivering food. The food was edible but not very good. We ordered off the 2 for 30 and started with spinach dip and chips. The dip was something out of a can that was put in a bowl. My husband had the sirloin and he said it was still juicy even though it was overcooked. I had the ribs and they were tender but very, very dry. They hadn't really been "cleaned" Still silverskin on under side. The mashed potatoes were warm but not hot and very tasteless. I will not be going back!

We were there after Chiefs Camp. The food was great and our server was super friendly!

Ordered online at Applebees website. Got 2 for 25. Got a steak. Med well.. online does not let you at toppers such as parm topping. I called the store spoke with a lady and she said she would put it on my order! I received my steak with one half still pretty bloody. And the parm topping I asked for was only a few shreds And wasn’t even melted. I called store and the manager said that I was not charged for parm and there’s nothing she can do. But yet I had it in my bag. I repeated that my steak still was not cooked right and bloody. She responded she will see if her director will send me something in the mail! What? Beyond upset

We just walked into the place and received a table in the back. When me and my husband sat down I noticed a noodle in my chair but did not care until both myself and my husband placed our hands on the table and the table was extremely STICKY! Like the table was not even cleaned properly. The floor was covered and has looked like it had not been vacuumed today. I’m sorry but this was very disturbing and I will be calling the health department. I know they are a little busy but having your whole table STICKY is unacceptable in my book.

I highly recommend trying out the bar! The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks they serve! I don’t order much off the menu- but I do enjoy the happy hour appetizers! Great place for “regulars” to call home!

When I arrived I waited for for 20 min before could even get anyone to take my order by this time I realized there was a short staff issue so my recommendation would be to make a sign post it on the front door letting everyone know that if they didn't want to wait due to a staff issue then apologize for inconvenience but let people know that there is little to no staff and it will take time with the staff you do have. My food was fresh at least I liked that much then I had to wait 25 or so minutes to get my check. Again I recommend having a sign posted on the front door letting customers know there is little to no staff

Very short staffed. Took a long time before someone took my order at the bar, however they did give me a glass of water promptly to ease my thirst. After I ordered to-go it came out as a dine-in so I just ate it there. The good was tasty and the person delivering the meal very pleasant. I believe her name was Jeanette and at the end of her shift. I left an extra tip for her and asked the crew to give it to her the next day as she was the star of the evening.

This is a review on the corporate Applebee's, not the st joseph location. The Date Night pass for $200 was a scam. I hope you can let corporate know that everyone is pissed about it. There was probably 10 passes sold. It was all a marketing gimmick that has now backfired on Applebee's. I was considering coming to Applebee's more often, but now that they have scammed this entire nation I can guarantee that I won't be spending any money there at all.

They were pretty dead and came over to us when we walked through the door and told us it would be a 15 minute wait. There were 20 tables not even being used. They need new workers. And people that walked straight to the bar was helped before us even tho it was the same lady that told us a 15 minute wait. They really need to be just just down. Thw last time we came here we had issues after issues.

Honestly, The food was AMAZING! the chicken strips were my personal favorite. but, I just Can't explain the honey mustard. it was too good to explain. the fries were good too.

The place was so freaking cold. The service was horrible. Had to ask for silverware. Took 10 min just to be seated. Never again will I come back. The food itself was great. Everything else was horrible

We had to wait 10 minutes to be seated because they were on break. That was the first time experiencing that type of wait. We would have left on any other day. Salad was borderline frozen. Burger not cooked to order.

The first time we ate there is 5 years or better. The food was great and tasty. Waitresses with the freckles on her face was amazing, very polite, and prompt with addressing your needs. I would go back.

Dinner was just OK. Tomato bisque soup was cold as we're my fries. The prime rib dipper sandwich was very good. The restaurant is worn out, carpeting, booths, tables & chairs and was dirty. Badly in need of an upgrade.

Love Applebees but not the one in this town. Just visited this establishment & when we entered they said they couldn’t fit a size 7 party. 6 people & a baby mind you. So I’m looking around seeing all open tables. So I asked if we can have 2 tables then and this little kid hosting is gonna tell me it’s a 20 minute wait for a table. And no one was in the restaurant it was damn near empty. Horrible service thanks for not even accommodating people thts wild. So I went to 54th street. 🙂

Where to begin.... Waitress/ bartender carrying her baby around, then proceeds to change her baby on a table where customer's usually sit. Then comes to my party and apologizes for having to change her baby and ask what they would like. I was freaking disgusted. I made no quarrel about it because I don't know her situation where she, especially her manager thought that would be ok. Salad could probably have made it out before 30 minutes if it wasn't for employee social hour. Food was obviously sitting out for a while, why? My artichoke dip cheese looked like it was sitting under the salamander for good minutes, it was a cheese flake. Locals might like this, but travelers, beware.

The floor was a mess, from food other customers had thrown on the floor, we didn't notice until we were waiting for our food to be brought out to us. Our food was not prepared correctly so we had to wait while it was corrected. Just an overhaul nightmare, we would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be returning for no reason. $45 I would have rather watched burn.

We had our food delivered by Uber eats , no issues with the delivery. The food we purchased was bland my wife and I purchased the Cesar salads the chicken was very bland the dressing was water down not much taste. The appetizers were ok for bagged frozen food that was thawed and heated for consumption. It reminded me of bad fast food.

Server was great, food was overcooked and dry. Server was nice and apologized. Lately it is hit or miss on food quality though

the server bailey is fantastic!! she’s great at her job. she was so friendly and easygoing. the barcadi buckets are so good. we will definitely be coming back :)

Standard Applebee's fare, not my favorite place but not terrible either. Wish I could do 3.5 stars. Atmosphere got 2 stars because it is DEFINITELY time to remodel ALL your stores, ironically 80's is one thing to look 1980s and it just because they haven't been updated. That's something else.

I've ordered tonight a take out over the phone some chicken wings plater which the person that was over the phone told me it came with fries and coleslaw. I told her remove the coleslaw and and add mashed and gravy. When I get to the store they only give me the wings, and the other two sides which were included as the server said was absent. When I asked about that, they brought only the mashed and gravy. I said where is the fries? The manager came out and said no fries included. After that she even took the gravy and mashed out of the order and request to pay for it after they told me all were included. She didn't even apologize for her employee mistake, she just want my money instead of providing better customer service.

Service is so-so. I had the chicken breast bbq bacon sandwich. Arrived after 22 mins and was hot. Had a side of crispy onion rings and a sweet tea. Tea was not very sweet but was strong and fresh. My other party had the endless shrimp and boneless chicken. He did not like the honey bbq sauce but loved the shrimp.

I always get the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp and it is always delicious, tender chicken with perfectly seasoned shrimp! Jessica B always goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has excellent service!

I love their Oriental salad but I ordered it for delivery (door dash) and when I got it, there was no chicken and no bread stick. We reordered and the very same thing happened again. So 😞 disappointed

No crayons for kids menu because a "Manager" throws them away. Supposedly had to pay $500 to clean windows after someone used crayon on them. Dry erasers are pretty effective at getting crayon off and are reasonably priced. St Joseph MO

Food was fixed just right, waitress service was Great. Their 32 oz drink is only 32 oz bucket if you fill to the extreme top of bucket with drink order and no ice. Bucket drink came 3/4 filled.
