This was by far the most amazing stay I have ever had. Not only was the B&B spotless, but it had such a homey feel. The hostess was so sweet and provided us with so much info on the best restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. She even provided me with Taxi numbers when we got stranded downtown in the rain. They were literally the best. When we make our way back down to New Orleans we WILL stay again.

We absolutely LOVED staying here. The house and room were darling and so clean. We loved waking through the garden district to hop on the streetcar. We were within walking distance to to excellent restaurants and we just adored the neighborhood. We will always stay here anytime we’re in New Orleans. Thank you so much for such an excelled stay! We felt so welcomed.

We had a perfect weekend stay at Garden District Bed and Breakfast. Our space was clean, comfortable, and roomy, and the breakfast was great. I really enjoyed my talk with Raynell about books and New Orleans. The location could not be beat, and I loved that we could just park our car and walk to a lot of different restaurants, stores, and shops.

We loved our stay here! Everything was perfect. The Inn oozes charm and character, and our room was large, clean, well-appointed and had a great balcony with a view of Magazine Street. It is easily accessible to all the sites, shops and restaurants in the Garden District, and the bus stops right in front for easy access to the rest of the city. Raynell, the host, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating, and we appreciated the light breakfast and snacks that were provided. We ate and slept well, heard lots of great music, and hope to return soon!

This is a fantastic B&B. They definitely made my stay so much better. The rooms are interesting and comfortable, the service is great, and the location is so convenient to everything. You're within walking distance to everything on Magazine Street, and just a few blocks away from a cable car stop that heads into the Quarter. The owner provides very good recommendations within walking distance - take them. I ate great when I listened to her :) I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in NOLA.

We adored our stay at Garden District Bed and Breakfast! Ray was an outstanding host and we followed several of her local recommendations for food, coffee, beignets, drinks, and sightseeing. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. I really enjoyed having our separate entrance so we could come and go without bothering anyone. There were other guests but we rarely heard any noise. We recommend staying here to anyone visiting New Orleans!

We just returned from New Orleans from a four-day stay and we stayed in the Garden District Bed and Breakfast and we're very pleased. Raynelle and Luis were super helpful with bus lines and even the midnight pizza delivery to their door. Lol Super clean unit with all the comfort items and a very comfortable bed. Wonderful restaurants all around. We will come again and we recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone wanting to stay in the lovely garden district.

My spouse and I stayed at the Garden District Bed and Breakfast for 4 nights recently and we HIGHLY recommend it. Our room was lovely--charming, very comfortable, and super clean. The bathroom had been renovated recently, too. Raynell is super friendly and fun to chat with. She also was quick to help when I had questions about the area or how to get around (I never had the pleasure of meeting Luis, but my spouse says he's super nice!). Speaking of the area, I can't imagine a better location. You can leave the B&B and turn either right OR left and find a bunch of restaurants and shopping on Magazine Street within walking distance. I was thrilled to stay at such a wonderful place for an affordable price. I already can't wait to go back.

This home was absolutely beautiful, clean, and quiet. There were a lot of restaurants and businesses within walking distance...so, plenty to do and experience! Short drive or trolley ride to other neighborhoods. Ray, the owner, is extremely accommodating and friendly. There were lovely baked goods available every morning, a kitchenette and private bath in our room, and plenty of charm with the benefit of modern conveniences. When we return to New Orleans, we will be coming back to the Garden District Bed & Breakfast.

An adorable B&B in a great location on Magazine Street. This is one of my favorite streets in Nola with lots of great restaurants, spas and boutiques. The owners are very friendly and gave me some awesome recommendations. I booked again and can not wait to be back!

Beautiful, affordable option in a walkable part of the Lower Garden District. The room felt like having our own little apartment as it was quiet and we rarely saw other guests as we came and went. This is a great way to support LOCAL businesses rather than corporate hotels or predatory airbnbs!

We reserved it not knowing it was no children allowed. It did not state that when viewing it online on the site we booked through. When we arrived, the owner was rude because we had a child. We ended up lodging elsewhere because she demanded it and ended up being grateful because the place is run down and the bathroom is so tiny you can barely turn around in it (and you have to share it with other people on the floor) - a plus sized person wouldn't be able to move in there at all and it smelled funny, in addition to looking run down. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful home, great customer service, loved the breakfast options and pamphlets with details on food spots and sites to see. Host was responsive and welcoming. We also loved the location it was easy to commute on bikes during our entire trip.

I do not have enough nice things to say about Garden District Bed and Breakfast. The location was amazing near public transit so we rarely had to move the car. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and had everything we could want, Parking was much easier than I was expecting I was always able to find a spot. The staff was awesome Ray had fantastic suggestions for things to do based on why we were visiting (Halloween & Anne Rice) She also went above and beyond finding us candy so we could hand it out for Halloween from the porch. Honestly, it felt like living in NOLA not just visiting, I would absolutely stay here again.

Our time here was really lovely! The whole building is beautiful our room had some beautiful touches. We had a super late check-in and Ray made sure Breakfast would be available for us even if we slept in. The morning after our arrival, she took the time to show us around and told us about the best places in the neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay in the patio room and we hope to visit again.

The owner, Raynelle, is so helpful and wonderful. She went above and beyond to ship a jacket I left behind. The B&B is great- in a wonderful location on Magazine street. The courtyard is really special (if you book the room with the private courtyard). I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I visit. Not only is the house itself and its accommodations absolutely beautiful, the hosts are truly wonderful people. We felt welcomed and at home right away. I'm no stranger to southern hospitality, but this place takes it to a new level. If you want a feel of the soul of New Orleans, don't miss out on this gem!

A GEM! This B&B exceeded our expectations in every way. A great value and situated in the most beautiful area of NOLA. Ray was a fantastic host. There's a reason why this place is booked friends! Don't miss out!

Ray is a first rate host and the location is ideal!! So many walkable restaurants and Garden District exploration as well as a short walk to the streetcar stops for a quick easy ride to the quarter. Ray provides helpful information for transportation and favorite restaurant lists. Will recommend to friends and stay our next time in town.

We have been staying at the Garden District B and B since 2006, and Raynell and Lois are always wonderful hosts! We feel like we are staying with family. They go above and beyond to help make our visits fantastic with recommendations and extra touches. Raynell’s breakfast muffins are so good, and her lemon bread is 🤤!

I can not express how much I loved this place. Its a beautiful building inside and out!! We were warmly welcomed by Ray and her baked goods in the mornings. It was a nice area to walk around and with the trolley stop a short walk easy to get in and out of the French Quarter. If we ever go back to New Orleans will definitely stay here again!!!
