If I could give zero starts I would it’s honestly the worst apartments I have ever lived in, and they never do updates but continue to charge you out of the a** when I lost my job and had to move out I tried to pay them but they would not take my money unless it was like $900 a month funny to me that they wouldn’t work with someone WHO WAS TRYING TO PAY THEM, but that’s fine because I’m working with the nicest company now and paying it off as I can and I’m thankful for the company I’m working with because they actually understand that I just don’t have 900$ a month I can give them!! I can get over that part because I know they have their policies, but so many people break the rules there and they don’t care. Strangers use their pool get drunk and start fights, and they don’t care I would bring my young daughter there and there was nothing they could do about letting strangers and bad people coming off the street to use their pool. I had one of the workers go into my apartment while I was out of town and drink beers and steal stuff and left a mess (I don’t drink so I do wonder who else had a key to my apartment) honestly over all the people who work there are nice and all but the apartment is not worth the money it’s so dirty and old and they refuse to do any updates but continue to add like 300 to your rent each year.

I lived at Greenmar for 6 years from about 2014 to 2021. I bought my house June 2021. I of course have notice etc. Before I moved out there was a change in management after moving out I received a letter that I owed $374 for different things around the apartment especially the carpet. When I moved in I was kind of in a hurry it was acknowledged on both sides on my file that I knew about it then we marked the areas that were really bad. New management didn't care about that and the Sunday to put that charge of $374 on me and it's on my credit report. I've been trying to fight them on this and I personally think this is ridiculous after six years of living in an apartment where rodents came in and out because the door frames were rotten away so they can get right in and out not to mention flooding to be charged $374 for damage already known and documented.

I have lived at Greemar Apartments since February 2005. I love it here, nice quiet community nestled in the woods with lots of wildlife that you can view sometimes out of your living room window. The maintenance staff is a great group of guys that do their best to address your issues promptly and as quickly as possible. The office staff is very friendly and does a great job of listening to concerns and taking care of them. The location is awesome. It’s convenient to all major highways, shopping, movies, a hospital, just to name a few. If you are in the market for a new apartment to call “Home” come see them at Greenmar Apartments. I highly recommend.

Location is the only reason I live here. Maintenance is pretty poor. From a/c leaks to disgusting public hallways to bugs. The only nice thing I can say is CERTAIN office staff are nice and they keep the grass cut. The property manager Nikki doesn't care. Constant emails about rent due dates. It's funny how long it takes for them to get something done, but how fast they'll get a letter on your door. No follow up after the unit upstairs a/c soaked the carpet. Mold and dead mice inside the walls. I have pictures and the carcass in a mason jar. Ask Andy he thought it was dust until he squeezed it and felt bones. Rent goes up every year with nothing done to the apartment. The location is awesome but building and units are not. Automated response sends me right back to Nikki. Great.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We lived here almost 2 years. We had nothing but problems from the incredibly rude office staff, to mold which was mentioned to the maintenance man when on numerous occasions we had issues with our bathroom and all they did was pretty much put a bandage over it and call it a day. I called numerous times about the apartments smelling like a weed smoke box everytime my kids dad came to bring her home. They charged us $2500 to break our lease 2 months early and then we left pieces that belonged to the apartment in a drawer and they charged us for “ trash” left behind. Along with a shelf I purchased in the freezer for the next person being nice, no they charged us for leaving that too. They said they charged us for repainting well after 2 years I think you’d want to repaint before someone else moved in…Then on top of it charged us $850 after having a deposit and a pet deposit. Please if you’re looking for a place to rent STAY AWAY!! FAR AWAY!! On top of that they just rack the rent up with 1990 appliances wanna charge 2020 prices.

I have been living here a short time, and have mixed feelings. The office ladies are very kind. The maintenance is a mixed bag, some guys are useless, some know what they’re doing. The ones that are bad don’t communicate so you might have to make a maintenance request more than once if the first person just pretends to fix it or says they’ll send in a person another day. Pest control does nothing and there’s spiders in the basement floor. Bugs find their way into the apt. On the positive side the property looks nice when people don’t litter. Landscaping is good unlike the last place I lived. Every property has its own issues but with improvements on the issues mentioned I think it would be a good place to live.

Applied paid application fees, however, was denied. Application fees are nonrefundable. However, the $100 holding deposit is. They are refusing to give me my refund of the $100. I read the contract and rules and have copies, and it states I am entitled to my $100 back. However, it is not the 85 background check fee. I just want the $100 back as I am entitled to. I found another place that was more amazing and truly appreciated my business.

I went to look into getting a new place and had the pleasure of meeting Emily Spurgeon as she showed me around. She was very knowledgeable and patient with me as she showed me the apartment options. I highly recommend seeing Emily because she will take great care of you and answer any questions you may have! Greenmar has my vote just because of Emily’s expertise!
