    Really don't appreciate the bait and switch service I received, when I had to sign up for a "new" membership just to use the 1 tanning bed they had. When I previously had been using it for over a year. Then after signing a new, more expensive membership, CF started a renovation project. Well, it started out as new locker rooms, but it kept going and going. The place is a mess right now, I feel terrible for the employees that are working in bad conditions. Today, I was told the tanning bed now cannot be used for months! Wait what?!?! Anyway, the truth came out in a text message today at 2:30pm TODAY saying they are closing this location TODAY at 3pm. No notice, no plan, cant tell us how long this will be. Just overall mismanagement from the top down. Terrible way to treat your loyal customers. A little transparency would have gone a long way, now your members are forced out with no notice.

    What is it called when you exchange money for a service that you don’t receive? Approximately a month ago it was announced that there would be renovations. They estimated it would take a week. In the interim, we have to use glorified port-o-potties. Which takes away a large point of what I pay for; the Showers and sauna. I submitted a message to their website and asked when it would be functioning or WHERE I could find that information. Crickets, no response, for a week. They don’t post updates on a Facebook page…nothing. If I wanted to retain business I would give members vouchers for the times that the gym was non-functional. This isn’t even to mention how the cycle studio has functioned 25% of the time I’ve been a member. If you care about receiving what you pay your gym fees to - seek out a different gym.

    This location closed with no notice in November for "renovations". There have been no communications to members when the gym will reopen and what improvements/renovations should be expected. Prior to construction, equipment was regularly out of service. The locker rooms were also always dirty. There is a constant mold/mildew smell and the floors are often wet.

    11/16/22 update: they closed this branch temporarily, no notice. Removing a star and pausing my membership (sign says can email to do so) since any other location entails 30 minutes or more of driving round trip. 10/11/22 update: rowing machine batteries were replaced. However the branch is now undergoing major renovations. It's loud and many machines are unavailable. On the plus side I've rarely seen the gym this empty. Update: it's been a couple months and the rowing machine displays are still unreadable. They requested reviews while rolling out their app so you would expect them to listen to members. A decent gym. Peak hours can be busy, especially free weights and benches. There are two squat cages, and I wish they would square them up perfectly with the mirror wall. I also asked them to replace batteries in the rowing machine on 6/26/22 so I will update if that happens soon.

    The gym is ok after the upgrades but the billing and customer service is a scam and will never join a club fitness. I paid for a year upfront and apparently the contracts auto renew. I found that out and canceled in the gym but “corporate” denied it because of a small late fee despite not going to their gym for 5 months. Now somehow I owe $380 to a collections agency and had to find out from a rude agent that they don’t have any details just a balance…. And there is NO way to talk to corporate as it’s only in writing. Nightmare!!!

    Renovations are still happening so you can’t use the full gym. No where to lock up your purse/keys so it’s pretty inaccessible if you buy female workout clothes (like I get it some of the pants have pockets but the fact that I can’t come after work and lock up my purse is ridiculous) They take away most of the “perks” of your current membership to try to push you into a more expensive bracket. Once this membership is over I’ll be joining HotWorx, it’s more expensive and a drive but at least I won’t feel ripped off.

    If I could give this a 0 star I would. I have been trying to cancel my membership since last August when I moved out of town. Since I do not currently live in town it has been impossible to cancel. I made the drive into the club in May. Was told it was canceled. Then was told today it was never actually canceled and I still owe money. They are using a 3rd party for payments and no one can actually give you an answer. They have to talk to one another. You can’t call the club only this 3rd party. Do not waste your money here!!!

    Still waiting on renovations 2 months later, was given zero notice prior to full closing of location, customer service is non existant, you can’t simply talk to anyone on the phone at any location. Update: after reopening I’m told that red light therapy isn’t included in my membership anymore despite paying the exact same amount, this gym doesn’t like to communicate and good luck getting a hold of anyone to help you, I was told I had to wait 2 hours before the only manager was done training someone. So if you have a problem with club fitness you have to wait til they decide to email you back as you can’t even talk to a real person when you call any location.

    Gym has been "under construction" since September. Poor conditions with dusty smoke during active gym hours for the months in between the start and temporary closure provided by a notice mid November. Underwhelmed by the gyms communication. I have seen a comment by another reviewer that the gym has little to no progress as of 01/2023. This is my closest location, so I have paused my gym membership at this location until the reopen.

    This gym is normally 3 stars and with the remodel it'll probably bump it up to 4 stars. It's 1-star for now because they closed 2 months ago after having sections closed off here and there for weeks. After walking by it the other day, there's like zero progress made... after 2 whole months. Like, they obviously won't be open for a very long time. There's just been very bad communication regarding the whole thing. This is the absolute most convenient location for me, so it's a bit disappointing the lack of transparency and the snail pace the remodel is happening at.

    DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! The management is awful! The gym is gross! Bathrooms are filthy. Bait and switch too, you will lose your money. they pull extra money out of accounts!

    1 star due to their "policies" when cancelling it's a joke. For me the first person only pretended to cancel my account, second attempt the person started the process of cancelling. Accounts go into pending cancellation, and they keep billing during this period. Keep that in mind. If you have a .01 balance, they charge you for the next month to cancel again. It's a scam.

    I’ve been going for nearly 2 years daily, and truth be told it’s a very convenient gym. There is lots of cardio equipment and a good variety of both assisted lifting machines and free weights. My issue comes with the cleanliness I’ve observed. The locker rooms are nearly always smelly and dirty. Additionally, the equipment is aging, and a lot of it is dirty or broken down because of it. They play what seems like the same music every single day for a month before cycling in new songs. I get family friendly music is a must, but at least change the variety of songs. One more thing, for the ones that do not have the Women’s studio (which is an added bonus), there are many members and even a few employees that make a less than comfortable experience with glares for my girlfriend. Fix these things and it’s the perfect gym.

    Love, Love, Love This Gym!!! Staff is great! extremely helpful. Everytime I walk in, someone is always welcoming me and is Always helpful when it's needed. Smoothies are made well. Liz and Josh are super friendly, they make coming to the Creve Coeur location fun. I can't wait to meet with Sarah on Saturday to Begin My weight loss journey and path to a better Me. I highly Recommend coming and working out here at this location. It may be one of the smaller locations, but the Class A Efforts from the Staff make it Seem much larger!!

    Do not go to this gym. Bathroom/ sauna are gross. Now only two bikes that barley work. Only a few attachments for the cables. This gym needs to step it up. Now I will have to drive an extra 20 min each way to workout. Wish I never joined

    Be careful with signing up with this club, my wife is a travel nurse. We planned to be here for a few months! When I went in to cancel they said I was in a contact. When I signed up I was told no contracts and I could cancel at anytime! I canceled back in April a little early because I was dealing with a guy who would put his bag in the equipment and just leave, thinking that’s how he would be able to save his spot. Waited for him to come back for about thirty minutes… He never did so I started using it and about 2 mins into it he said he was using it. I explained that’s not how to hold equipment at the gym. He threatened to fight me and said some poor choice word. I moved on and let the staff know what’s was up a few times about him. Come back around and the dude is a the same machine on his phone for the rest of the time I was a the gym. On my way out I went to cancel my account, they told me I had thirty days left on my account nothing about a contract or anything! Now I am getting calls from ABC fitness saying my membership is going to be cancel if I don’t pay the past due of 90 and some change!

    Started using this gym when I’m visiting Saint Louis. TONS of options from classes, to equipment, to personal trainers. I personally love the kickboxing and Zumba classes and I’ve really liked every trainer I’ve had so far. Only downside is it’s normally packed. I think that’s due to the close proximity to the universities. Will continue to go here when I’m in town!

    They have a problem with keeping the locker/ sauna clean. This place has not been opened that long after remodel and it's already down the drain employees and management don't care for cleanliness especially the saunas look how clean this floor is and it's 9:30 in the morning update 7-31-23 picture 2 was taken this morning

    They need to makes sure things are stocked play better music to get and keep you in the workout mode. The sauna keeps breaking down and they take forever to fix it. They have lost a lot of people that use to come in the morning. A lot of us like to workout with the same people and now most have left. Some days they don't even have music playing and it feels like it's just dead in there. Couple of the staff guys that were there left now and the place just keeps going down. It could get better if maybe when you try and talk to the older guy staff and let them know they don't just blow you off with bad attitudes. Randall is the best and the best. YANK!!!

    I’ve been a faithful member over 6 years. I’m so happy the saunas are now open as to why I unfroze my membership. I work a lot & I’m a figure Competitor so heat helps when it’s available. Great staff, great facilities and very clean during COVID era. I’ve only been to this particular location a handful of times and I love the new look and upgrade.🦾

    I have visited all of the Club Fitnesses in then St Louis and St Charles area, this is by far the unfriendliest of them all. The employees here really need to work on their customer service!! They barely speak and if you ask a question or need help with something they act as if you are really bothering them smh. Let’s get it together at this location!

    Both Precor AMT Eliptical machines broken for 4 months. Reporting broken equipment falls of deaf ears. The stuff that works is alright here if you come off hours. Forget about getting anything done here during prime hours.

    Not a bad gym, gets pretty busy in the afternoons and it can be hard to find squat racks. Staff is okay, seems like a bunch of teenagers who want a free membership. One red haired staff member just walked around and seemingly got numbers from a few of the people working out, slightly unprofessional if you ask me.

    I was working out in one of the specialty exercise area and suddenly a worker starts vacuuming and mopping around me. He didn’t say a word — not “excuse me”, “this area is closed” — just nothing. It was so bizarre.

    The workout facilities deserve four or five stars, but the locker room and shower deserves -10 stars. It is horrible. I have seen the same hairball in one shower stall for at least 2 to 3 months. The floor in the locker room is dirty beyond belief. I am sure someone has used a mop but all they do is move dirt from one side to another never picking it up. The floor in the photos does not look that dirty, but that is only because the tile hides the dirt well in the photo. This facility reminds me of the old facility in Florissant. The only thing missing is the roaches, but there are spiders and spiderwebs Thankfully I only take a shower here once a week

    I like it. I'm a bit spoiled by some of the other gyms I've been to in TX like Alphaland and Apex... nothing like those really here in STL. But it's a decent gym, good amount of equipment, pretty tight quarters sometimes but, just be aware of who's around you.

    Bailey helped me setup my membership! she was very helpful! she gave me a tour and showed me around to all the different features of the gym! Also the gym is very clean and well maintained! the price is reasonable as well and the different locations of the gym are pretty accessible everywhere in St louis!

    Personally the gym and it’s staff are fantastic and up lifting. The company itself and our the company they use (ABC Fitness solutions) is the reason I’m giving this establishment one star. Their customer service is beyond terrible and the only way to cancel a membership is in person or to pay to mail a certified letter to Arkansas. Amidst a global pandemic one would think it’d be okay to just call and cancel. Not with this company the only way is to take large amounts of time to go in person to cancel. Not to mention the membership auto renews annually with out prior confirmation of renewal.

    Club fitness is a great place to work out. It has an abundance of classes and employees are professional and do an excellent job of cleaning the facility. I have been riding the stationary bike and would enjoy it more if I could have access to using my headset to hear all the tv stations . I would also like more Pilates classes to be added. I am so happy that club fitness is doing everything they can to keep the facility open and please their customers

    The equipment, and divided rooms make this a great option for not feeling super cramped in when working out. This is the only location where you see the employees cleaning, or at least looking busy. I never EVER have to go looking for someone to help me which is very much appreciated. The staff makes the difference! I wish the other locations were as nice, and accommodating as this CF. They even have paper towels. Which sounds silly, but it is definitely an amenity when you just want to rinse your face with cool water, or dry off the equipment. It feels like a weekly treat to drive here since I live closer to two other locations. I have been considering making the drive instead of being aggravated elsewhere. My only complaint is they don't have a specific machine I enjoy using from the St. Charles location.

    A terrible company that will make it nearly impossible to cancel your membership. You CAN NOT log in to the website or call to cancel, yet you can log in and call to do anything else while providing info to verify who you are. You are forced to come in person or mail a letter to a PO box in Arizona to cancel. If you move away and are unable to come in, they require proof that you moved in order to cancel. This is a ploy to make it harder to cancel so they can get money out of you. You have to sign a contract to even go there and they will charge you for canceling early. There is no other company that does this.

    Professional and helpful staff. Gym is clean with plenty of wipes to clean off equipment after use, staff are frequently sweeping/mopping, etc. Good variety of equipment to meet most needs. The gym is clearly growing in popularity but this is leading to some free weight equipment always being in use or occupied. Would be great to get at least one more squat rack (preferably with a platform) and one more flat bench to help spread out the load at peak times. The back area with the squat racks could REALLY use a fan, even a low RPM one, to help move air -- on warm days that corner can get really muggy.

    I LOVE THIS GYM!! not only was the smoothie fantastic, but the protein bars they sell are out of this world. 10/10. I will goto this gym even on my off days just for the smoothies. you people have to try this stuff out!

    DJ at the front desk is the best! Super friendly and fun! He’s been crackin me up! I’ve also been loving the body pump class with Kristie! She made me feel so welcome my first class, made a point to remember my name, and helped me through the routine so I didn’t miss a beat. She really kicks my butt and I’m loving the results! I’m really enjoying the high energy Zumba class with Isabel also! She’s a hoot and makes working out fun!

    My time at Club Fitness Creve Coeur is nothing short of great. Everyone there is very welcoming and friendly. Whenever I come inside I’m always warmly greeted by the person at the desk. The gym is always clean and the equipment is consistently wiped down. I’ve never had any problems and am always looking forward to going to lift some weights! My personal trainer, Sarah, has also helped me immensely. I’ve reached levels I never knew I thought was possible with her help. She’s amazing and I’m thankful for her help. I definitely recommend this gym!

    I started personal training at Club Fitness in mid-May and it has had such a positive impact on my body image and mental health. My personal trainer is Brandon and he is fantastic. He really is your own personal cheerleader and listens to your goals. The workouts he puts together for you are challenging but also doable at the same time. You leave your session feeling strong and amazed at yourself for getting through. I am excited to see where this journey continues to take me!

    I love it here. It is our home base here and we come at least 4 times a week. The gym is well equipped with cardio, weights, group exercise and cycling zones. You also have massage chairs which is honestly my favorite thing! The toilets are clean. There's also red light therapy and kid's club for people interested, but I've never used it. I believe it is open 24hrs to people who have access. Overall a great gym for the membership price.

    Best gym ever!! All of the workers are so incredibly nice and up lifting. This is my first ever time having a gym membership and I’m so happy that I chose to come here. Super clean, many different types of equipment, the options are endless! 10/10 recommend everyone to come here.

    I checked out this gym to see if it would be a good fit for me to begin my weight loss journey. I was very reluctant because of a poor gym relationship in the past. However I spoke with Dorian that provided a tour and answered all of my many questions. He was kind, patient, and enthusiastic. The sign up process was seamless with Nick. It only took a few minutes and he addressed all of my needs. So far a great experience

    Edit I got a very nice voicemail and an explanation on what happened. The manager refunded me the difference. I’m very happy with how they turned it around AVOID AT ALL COST I joined club fitness while I was working in St. Louis. I was only going to be in town for a month but the salesmen told me there weren’t any 1 month options. He ended up signing me up for a year and told me I’d just have to cancel it. After I cancel it the guy closing out my account told me there were one month memberships and didn’t know why the other guy told me there wasn’t. On top of that I’d have to pay for another month and cancelation. Lots of gyms with honest salesmen out there so go there, also it’s always packed and not that much equipment

    Club Fitness is amazing. I’ve been looking for a local gym while I’m home from college, and I must say, I’m so glad I found CF. There is a wide variety of clean equipment for both cardio and weights. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. I definitely recommend CF if you want to start/continue your workout journey in a positive and uplifting environment.
