My mother went there on July 28, 2022 for a 5 day respite care. Accentcare hospic made all the arrangements for this visit. When my mother return home on August 2 she was not the same person that left our home 5 days before. She was sent home in a wheel chair unresponsive to my daughter and me. Slummed over, eyes closed wearing one of her gowns and a pair of pants. She could not get out of the wheelchair. My daughter and I had to lift her to her bed. After the Accentcare nurse got there and examined her we were told that my mother was passing. They did not send her oxygen with her, cane or her neublizer that went with her on the 28th of Aug. This story gets worst and I can't go into everything else that was found out about her 5 day stay there. It is Sept. 18 2022 and I still have not found out what happen to my mother during her stay there and they have been under investigation. BEWARE! Before you send someone you love to that horror hotel.

I have a retired Marine that had to go to River Crossing for hospice care. The first day that I went to see my friend, he had falling on the floor with his right arm pinned beneath him and has been in that position for awhile before we got there. It took a long time for the nurses or the CNA’s to respond to our concerns. Then they were ugly and nonprofessional about there job. If I could he would not be in this horrible facility. The staff doesn’t do anything for their residents which are paying them to take care of the residents with care, respect and dignity which they are not getting. Not a good place for any human not even good enough for a dog to be taken care of.

Our experience at this nursing home was terrible. My mom was sent here to recover after a hip replacement. She felt neglected and said she was treated like a child. The home smells like someone splattered urine all over the walls. It is by far the most dingy, dull, lackluster nursing home I have ever set foot in. My mother's stay ended with a horrific fall that resulted in her being rushed to the ER. She was seizing and couldn't speak. After multiple tests, they couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. After 24 hours of being in the hospital with an IV, my mom's brain function returned to normal. I don't know what happened to her in this place because I wasn't there 24/7. But I don't feel that she was taken care of well. And I feel sorry for the people who have to live there. It's their home. And it's awful.

Let me tell you.....don’t do it! Don’t make the mistake of putting your loved one in this facility. It’s by far the most corrupt nursing home in the county. They would take out your loved ones organs while they slept to sell them on eBay if they could get away with it! I had social services tell me to throw a poor little lady out onto the street in the dead of winter!!!!! Don’t do it!!!!!!!

I have been a patient and a visitor for my wife at Rosewood Care Center since January 2017. I have experienced excellent care for myself, and especially for my wife. While there are varying degrees of care from different individuals, I find that a kind word encourages most to be professional and caring to me and my wife, making for a pleasant resident life. The activities are wonderful, encouraging the residents to participate, giving them a change from monotony or boredom. with a resident council in place the patients can voice their concerns, be it a staff concern, or a menu change that needs to be corrected; the concerns are addressed right away. The dining area, halls, and general spaces are kept immaculate with a professional maintenance staff. Also we have two excellent maintenance men that seem to be able to fix anything. Overall, I am greatly pleased with our stay at Rosewood Care Center.

A year ago I would NOT have given this place 5 stars, hardly 2 stars, but i can fully say that the new management team they've had there these last few months have drastically turned that place around! For the first time since we moved my dad in there, I see the place getting cleaned, an Administrator who is OUT OF THE OFFICE and engaging with the people who live there! It is refreshing to see smiles on the people who work there, the building doesnt smell anymore, and people who CARE about our elderly!! The new DON, George, has made my dad's health turn around completely-he caught things and corrected them that i never would have dreamed were problems! He walked me and my husband through all dad's medications, all his diagnosis, answered our questions, and clearly holds his staff to a higher level! I can go to sleep at night knowing my dad is xared about. The social worker, Jessica, goes above and beyond for us and it just shows what a good nursing home can be! Thank you for caring!!

I spent a few months at this place the staff is very unprofessional, lazy, have no empathy to their residents. They are horribly understaffed. I lost my left foot because they were not dressing my wound every day like the doctor’s suggested. I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in that place

We have had our mother in and out of 4 rehab facilities over the last 3 years and Rosewood was by far the best! She left in April, and actually misses the caregivers she had! After many hospitalizations due to her falling at her home, we finally decided we would try rehab one more time and prayed she would not have to live in a nursing home forever. Thank God she didn't! After less than 3 months she is home and healthy and doing great! The only negative we had was the furniture and appearance, we were not at all impressed with how dated everything was- but it was always clean, the people cared about her and us, and usually greeted us with smiles. They always communicated with us and had her best interest in mind. So if you have to choose between good care or pretty paint, go where there is good care, we are so glad we did!

Came by the center today to visit my friend on his Birthday. His room is on the 200 wing. He looked great and in good spirits. The Housekeeper Kevin was very friendly and the Activity guy had a group residents out having fun. Emily was friendly and came by to say hi.. The facility smelled good and I was very impressed with how clean everything was.

I deliver pizza to this place and the staff will tip 20 cents on a $18+ order delivered directly to them. I wouldn't trust people that work in the service industry that won't tip a pizza delivery person. Red flag in my book

We moved my mom from facility she'd been at for 10 years. My had been placed on hospice & suffered what we now realize was abuse & neglect! We thought of the former place as her home & believed what we were told. After suffering a horrible injury of unknown cause mom was hospitalized & needed surgery in order to recover. In the few weeks she's been at Rosewood her surgery sight is almost healed, she's regained her appetite, she's communicating & smiling again, she's even able to feed herself again - her room is clean & you dont smell urine anywhere - the meals are actually fresh cooked foods & even fresh fruit (not canned) is offered! She's on one non-narcotic pain pill for chronic pain & one anti-anxiety/depression pill a day! They are totally pro-active & believe in honoring quality of life for their residents! I just can't believe how blessed we are to have found this place! Nothing is as good as home but i know mom's happy & safe now & that means everything!

Warning...Do not send loved ones here, Facility is severely understaffed. The Nurse's do not care for your loved ones. My loved one stayed here during covid before i finally got the information to move him out of here, But before i did he endured severe neglect not physically but care wise. Facility is not clean please beware.

My mom was brought in at 22:00 and told a nurse she had to pee. The nurse said “it’s not happening”. Then she asked a some pillows and when they came in with the pillows they just threw them on the bed. Fast forward 11 hours and my mom is still waiting to use the bathroom and desperately calling people on the phone for help - because no one is helping her. It took me 20 minutes to get there and as I walked in they were literally just taking her to the bathroom. They didn’t bring her breakfast until almost 11 Obviously I’m not impressed with her care to this point - the low reviews done seem to lie.

The staff was in professional mode the entire shift. I'll sign up again. And the staff ask me if I needed help all day, that was very much appreciated just for them to ask. That's how it's supposed to be. Well done guys

At the present time I am giving assistance to Mr Bill Curlett at your facility. He is a dear friend of mine. I know of organizations that can help him with certain situations in his life. I appreciate coming to such a nice clean facility and such nice people that work there.

The workers have been so much help and committed to their jobs in the last few months compared to the time before. Everyone seems supportive and pleasant at work. It’s not perfect but what place is. My visits are more pleasurable!

I am the Piano Girl at this facility; I enjoy visiting and playing music for the residents who are well cared for. Their disabilities are addressed with a nursing staff, doctors , and kitchen workers that are working nonstop. They have activities that are updated and posted on the calendar with church service on Sunday. Not everyone has family and some are forgotten, but the residents here are loved and cared for.

My nephew was there a few years ago. Although he was paralyzed from the neck down, he was always treated with dignity. Staff is friendly to visitors as well as residents. Resident rooms, restrooms, etc., always clean.

I am a hospice nurse with Mediplex. I see one of your patients. I appreciate your staff and their dedication to providing the best care possible for our patient. I had dealings with Rhonda, nurse and Peaches, CMT. They were both very helpful, professional, and receptive to taking care collectively of our patient.
