As a health care professional, I understand the importance of professionalism, expertise, and how to take really good care of one's patient/client. From my first appointment with Dr. Casey (Dr. O'Kane's father) back in the day, to my current visits with Dr. Monssen and Carol I am treated with the best of care. It is a very well run office with the staff being very helpful and pleasant, my appointments are set up well in advance, there is no wait time, and my experience in the chair is actually relaxing because I know how gentle and thorough Carol is. I look forward to seeing Dr. Monssen as well. He is the kindest person you could ever meet and he always goes the extra mile to take care of my dental needs. I went here for over 20 years. The staff is great, and they give a discount to pay for the appointments with a check. Brian is friendly and the hygienists are efficient and gentle. They treated my teeth great. I moved away but I want to recommend this dentist office. I will miss them.

Very excellent dentist, who replaced some old crowns and did some other work. However, the most recent cleaning by their dental hygienist was not good: she was very rough; she used a water device but started on my gums - not on the tooth. I stopped her and mentioned that no other hygienist had done that [in the past 50 years], but she insisted she was doing it properly. I had to stop her twice because it hurt. Previously, I had never had pain during teeth cleaning.

My initial visit. All staff very friendly and professional. My medical doctor requested full jaw imaging due to other medical issue which was done, plus full cleaning and inspection, at a reasonable price. I was notified at front desk that I could save about 5% if pay by check or cash, so that was an added bonus, as I have no dental insurance

It was my first time going O'Kane & Monssen. The front desk people were very polite. When I was taken back I saw Dr.Schley she was very nice and understood what I was needing to know since I was coming for a 2nd opinion, she was very thorough and explained and showed in great detail what she was seeing. We have always gotten great care with Dr. Monssen and team. But last week they were able to see us as a last minute request to help my daughter with her braces. They are so nice to us all the time and they are an excellent team. I highly recommend them.

My family and I have been patients at O'Kane & Monssen since we moved to the neighborhood in 2007. We are all treated with expert care and advice. Most definitely recommended for anyone looking for a dentist in the Highland Park neighborhood.

A front tooth fello out while I was brushing my teeth last weekend. I called O'Kane & Monssen at 7:00 a.m. on Monday morning and was given an appointment with Dr. Monssen, my regular dentist, shortly after noon that day, The crown was re-cemented in a few minutes. I live in a neighborhood with many local dentists, but fI happily travel 26 miles to this practice where patients are always welcomed with courtesy and professionalism.

Great dentist! Everyone is so nice, the office is clean and runs really well, and their care is top notch. Highly recommend!

I MET A NEW PERSON AND i HAVE SLECTED FOR DOING MY CARE AT THIS TIME.. I HAVE NO NEGATIVE FEEL REGARDING MY PAST DENTIST. HE AND HIS ASSISTANT WERE PROFESSIOANL AND SERVED ME 100% AND HIS ASSISTANT WERE PROFFESIONAL & CARING.
