Today's luncheon was at the Red Cow, St. Paul location. Every person I encountered (from the host, server, to other wait staff) was incredibly friendly and the food was just as tasty as I had remembered it to be. I ordered the double barrel burger with fries and my friend ordered the Red Cow Salad with grilled chicken- both were delicious. This place has a cool, laid back vibe that serves up some of the best burgers (and salads) in town.

Had great service but honestly I was not a fan. My tuna burger was soggy and barely warm. The Bulldog does better tater tots than Red Cow. But what floored me were the prices. $12 for a brandy hot toddy drink? $14-16 for our burgers and then a $2 upcharge on top of that for tater tots and truffle fries for each burger? With 1 beer each plus one toddy drink, our burgers, the tuna appetizer (avoid, it wasn't good), and the tip it was a $100 lunch for 2 people, no joke.

This was our first visit to the Red Cow. It was a Sunday night, and the restaurant was very busy and understandably noisy. We had the BLT Chicken Sandwich with the Parmesan Truffle Fries ($14.75 plus $2.00 upcharge for the Truffle Fries) and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Soup ($13.50). There was also a 4.90% MC surcharge on the bill (not sure what that is about). Our food was very good and the service was friendly and helpful especially given the busy night. We plan to make a return trip for the burgers.

Dairy free options on butter and vegan garlic aioli!! The burgers are amazing. I tried the 60/40 and was impressed by how much it burst with flavor. This isn't your typical burger joint. It's burger joint x5. Plus the amount they cater to vegan and dairy free people is fantastic. Service is fantastic and it's a great place go catch a game. Oh lastly have to mention the drinks. They have your usuals but for those looking to avoid alcohol they have fantastic frees. The ginger beer is awesome.

I tried the Nashville hot stix. Food was very hot and fresh. Spice wise the tenders weren’t spicy at all which is not a bad thing. The dipping sauce was actually pretty good. My only complaint would be that there was way too much seasoning on the tenders. Same thing with the fries. If you take away the excess seasoning this meal would have been much better.

The burgers were more on the salty side. The first half of the burger tasted really good but once you get towards the end it gets salty. The cheese curds were ok and the wings were pretty good. The homemade chicken tenders could be more crispy as I felt the batter was just falling off.

The service here was really good. It was a little wait for us to sit down but we could wait at the bar. I enjoyed my food, I had a salad with a chicken breast on top which was very good tasting. My son had chicken nuggets which he loved. We got to sit in a booth which was cool because it gave us a little bit of personal space which is good when we had two kids with us. I'll definitely be coming back, I usually go to their Minneapolis locations but this one was also good. I'd recommend Red Cow St Paul for anyone looking for a low key vibe and tasty food.

Great burgers. The ultimate and the 60/40 are both fantastic! The kids meals were great. One kid got the grilled cheese which comes with fries, carrots, and a cookie and the other got the corn dog which was accompanied likewise.

This location is cute. I enjoy the atmosphere here. The staff not so much. Long wait times for drinks, it wasn't busy so I'm not sure why the wait was so long. Long wait times for refills and the check. I love the Red Cow brand so I'll be back to see if I have a different experience but for now, it was disappointing. The food was fantastic, I was satisfied on that end. It took a lot to get the satisfaction. When I visited the avenue was under construction so parking was a huge bear. This establishment shares a neighborhood with many popular spots and you can easily spend 15 minutes looking for decent parking. Plan to arrive really early if you have a reservation. Outside eating is available and it's popular at this location but the bar is a highlight at this location as well so you gotta be prepared either way. I'll be back!

I've been here a few times and of course ordered a burger. Well this time I went for drinks and came out a fan!! We sat at the bar where the drinks were strong and came with a smile. We ended up staying for lunch and I'm glad we did! The food was really good and so was our server. All of the servers actually stopped and chatted with us. We ordered a few things to share and they were all pretty darn good!! The bathroom wasn't as clean as I'd hoped but nothing to hold it for, for sure. I'll definitely be back to enjoy the patio!!

Pretty good burgers and I'm a big fan of their cheese curds and truffle fries (in particular the garlic aioli). The burgers are more of the thicker patty variety, so while I like their 60/40 blend I prefer other burger places with a thinner patty.

I really love the red cow. Kind and speedy wait staff. Always professional. Food is great. Only critiques would be that the burgers are greasy and the tater tots have no flavor.

Delicious good! Very well seasoned and crispy. One of the better chicken sandwiches I've had! The fries are crispy and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely going back.

First time here and it is a popular place! We were able to get two seats at the bar for dinner, but there was a wait out the door when we got there and left. Service at the bar was great- very friendly bartenders. The homemade chips and onion dip were amazing! Highly recommend! The Ahi Tuna burger was delicious - everything went well together. The 60/40 burger was very good- quality meat and bacon made for a satisfying burger. Free street parking available - may need to walk a couple of blocks.

After a twenty minute wait to seat a party of four, we each treated ourselves to a spectacular, delicious meal. I personally got the Breakfast burger which came with bacon and egg upon two patties slathered in peanut butter presented like a sourdough melt, paired with a side of tots and a glass of Cline Farmhouse red blend. It was a delectable journey of hedonistic proportions. While waiting for our meal, we shared some scotch eggs that left us very impressed and impatient for the main course to come. Overall, everything was so good and I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu.

We love red cow and go there quite often. We go because we love the double barrel, burger and their red cow salad. The salad used to be my favorite. I wanted to go to red cow mainly because of that salad. So I can’t tell you how disappointed I was when I ordered their salad and it wasn’t the same. They changed it and not for the better. Not only is it not as good they raised the price two more dollars for their small salad. I won’t order it again and we won’t be going to red cow nearly as often. Super disappointed!

This was our first time eating here! The impossible burger was amazing! The side salad, which is what I chose instead of fries or slaw, was yummo! 😁 Our server was great....very friendly. No long waits, clean.....will definitely return! Katelyn yesssssssss!

This has been a must stop spot for a few years now. They are know for their burgers! The wings were crispy but the Buffalo sauce was more sweet than I wanted. My wife always orders Ahi Tuna Burger which she says is to die for. I always order the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich. The bun is perfectly fresh and is able to hold the structure of the sandwich. The sandwich was crispy and spicy. Best chicken sandwich you can get around. The homemade ketchup is a hidden gem sweet and sour. Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

I'm a HUGE fan of Red Cow. I've been to all three locations, but my favorite location is the one in St. Paul. We've been there hundreds of times over the years since they opened the St. Paul restaurant. The food is so delicious!! The staff are amazing people and it shines through their service in every aspect. For Christmas, my boyfriend and I buy each other Red Cow gift cards. Food is love. 😆

Awesome place, if you stop here, taste the beer, and the burguers, they sell 5oz beers so you can taste as many as you wish and the second option is 12 oz beer, wine and cocktails are great too, outdoor tables are for 4 people 5 max, service is the best in town, Friendly staff, I’ll give them 🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩

Food is great overall. Cheese curds were light and flavorful. The 40/60 burger is definitely worth a try. Shakes were also pretty good. Nice beer selection and very polite and helpful bartenders and staff.

Red Cow on Selby is always delicious- we go usually once a month! But I wanted to write a review because tonight we got takeout and it was absolutely outstanding. Whoever was on the line absolutely crushed it! Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing. Really appreciated that they packaged the sauces for the buffalo cauliflower separately so it wouldn’t get soggy. Lastly, the coleslaw was so good! Again, perfectly balanced and delicious. Whether it’s takeout or dining in, we’ve never been disappointed.

As always the food is fantastic. There is usually a wait to get a seat but we'll worth the wait. Excellent apps and burgers. I recommend the "Barcelona" with truffle fries. Extensive beer and drink selection. Will be back again soon.

The service and food were fantastic. Our waiter, Sam, was outstanding. Although busy, drinks and food came out fast and it was overall a great experience. Highly recommend the Mushroom Swiss Burger, Rosemary Sangria, and the Tuna Crisps appetizer. Will definitely be back again!
