Mancini's Char House is fantastic!! It's completely old-school supper club in the best possible way!! The servers are extremely friendly and helpful, the food portions were a nice size and delicious and the prices were very reasonable, with salad and a side for the steak/entree included. Also included is a their wonderful garlic toast and lovely relish tray containing marinated tomatoes, peppers and pickles. Pat, one of the owners, stopped by our table to see how our dinners were and to make sure that we were satisfied with everything. Hospitality at it's finest!

My wonderful wife took me to Mancini’s Char House for my birthday celebration! What a hit! Starting with the relish tray and the garlic toast basket, followed by a beautiful New York strip (my wife had the broiled walleye) and finished up with a complementary birthday cake! There is no better place to have an outstanding supper club meal in a classic setting. Chipper, our waiter made us feel like we were the only people in his busy section and we were even greeted by one of the owners, John Mancini himself. This excellent menu and classic atmosphere brings back great memories of my youth! If you've never been it's time to get there!

Fun, unique supper club spot in St Paul. The steak was perfectly prepared, and the sides were pretty good. The old fashioned was not my favorite, but the grasshopper was excellent. Very cool atmosphere, live music, and great service.

Came here for dinner after a recommendation from our hotel, and we were very happy with our experience. All the food we had was delicious, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The owner even stopped by our table to thank us for dining. The decor has a great old school dining club feel as it is described.

Hands down the best place you can get steak! It was melting in my mouth so juicy and charred to perfection! Pair this with some wine and it was a good night!

; I enjoyed the restaurant vibe: original and clean. Lots of bread and pickled veggies at the beginning. I ordered a petite filet mignon (medium), lobster tail with a baked potato. The steak had no pink, but tasted fine. The market priced $50 lobster tail was tough because it was over cooked. The simple salad (salad and 2 grape tomato) could of used a little oomph. The best thing served was the garlic toast and baked potato. I wish they had more side options. They pour a tall glass of wine, which you can't complain about. The service were friendly. Overall, not a great nor a bad experience. I'm glad I gave it a try, but won't be spending that kind of money here again for steak - for that price I rather go else where.

First visit tonight. Pretty good experience, seemed a little short staffed for servers but who isn’t these days. The value is top notch for the quality of food and portions. Some might disagree, but I love the sort of no frills menu. The narrow selection means you’re getting fresher food prepared consistently. Thick steaks, actually cooked to your preference which is rare (no pun intended) given the price point. And tasty complementary starters. Truly a place stuck in time, and I mean that in the best way possible. Simple food cooked well, and prepared and owned by people who clearly care about what they do. Bring your family, bring your friends, and bask in the Midwest vibes and the knowledge that you can order a brandy Alexander and not have to explain what that is.

We had a small family gathering the week before Christmas. Very convenient parking. Our table was ready when we arrived. The atmosphere was delightful with everyone in the Christmas spirit. The waitress took our orders and we were served promptly. My bloody Mary was unremarkable. The platter of pickles and basket of garlic bread were wonderful. We ordered fillet mignons and a New York strip which were all cooked precisely to order. I thought the New York strip might have had a bit too much "char" taste though. The fillets were very tender and tasty. As the dining room was just beginning to clear, I thought our waitress was a little too aggressive in removing plates. The slower eater was made to stand out by having the only plate on the table. But all things considered it was a delightful evening and it is likely we will make Mancini's a Christmas tradition.

The service was great! The ambiance was nostalgic. Felt like I was in a mob film. Decor is stuck in time from eras past which gives it it's charm. I had the filet mignon which was very good. Margarita not so much. Also had Lemonchello shots that were not so great. It is a very large restaurant which I found interesting. It was packed on a Saturday night. Prices are reasonable. Overall I liked it but it is not my favorite steak house.

I’ve been eating there since 1974, while there have been changes to the interior an parking the Menu has pretty much remained the same. The Steaks are cooked to your preference of M , MR, R.. perfectly I may add! The Complimentary Italian Toasts an Tomatoes, Banana peppers are great, Baked Potato, Salad.. Simple an no frills but excellent value, great service, pleasant Staff, 2nd Generation with Pat an John Mancini.. The place is packed 400-600 people on Sunday Night can’t be wrong.. Reservation a week or two ahead is Strongly Recommended! It’s a St Paul Institution, Dress code is Casual, very Casual is common, this a Blue Collar institution, no Frills, but Very Very good! I recommend the New York Strip MR!! Enjoy! This is 3 Generations standing here, Only the Best for my Familia!!

I love the look, feel and style of this local restaurant. It has an older dinner club decor and the food is great. Dinner with friends is easy and they have plenty of tables. The bar selection is varied and good, with lots of the expectations you'd have. A great place to go often if you live nearby. Staff is wonderful and it is locally owned from what I understand. If you are looking for a good steak, good wine and good atmosphere, I highly recommend.

It is a classic style American steakhouse. The steak was delicious, and I like the potato as a side! However, part of the bread as the starter was overcooked. The salad was okay. Not bad, but I would not say it is good. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere would make me feel the old fashioned. I would say it is kind of the classic style steakhouse. I love this kind of atmosphere though. Overall, I recommend the steak and the atmosphere at this restaurant. Btw the parking lot is closed by, don't need to worry about the parking.

Mancini’s is a great spot for a special occasion dinner. They are also very accommodating for groups. We had a surprise birthday dinner for my mother-in-law here over the summer and it was wonderful. The service was great and everyone enjoyed the food. We recently went again for a small birthday dinner for my husband and we had good service again. The food is delicious! The marinated pickles and peppers they serve are so tasty. They also bring out grilled garlic bread, which is usually fantastic, but was a bit too salty this time. We did mention that to the server and she said that they were using a new garlic salt and others had complained it was too salty as well. Hopefully they will make the switch back to the garlic salt they were previously using. The side salads that come with dinner are pretty basic, but it’s nice that they’re included with the price of your entree. They gave us lots of butter and sour cream for our potatoes and our steaks were all cooked perfectly!

The real deal as far as Supper Clubs go. Come hungry! Meals are generously portioned and you get a relish tray and basket of garlic bread with your entree that includes a salad & vegetable. Plenty of parking.

I had a great experience here. First off, the place looks like a cruise ship lounge. Hasn’t been touched in decades. This adds to the charm. I sat at the bar and had dinner. I ordered the fillet, medium rare. Complementary bread and pickles/tomatoes/peppers were served. at first bite I have to admit that I didn’t love the overly charred flavor. I added some butter to the steak and it came to wife! It was cooked perfectly. I had an accompaniment of baked potato with butter and sour cream. There was also a pre-dinner salad, which was pretty basic iceberg and two cherry tomatoes with French dressing. Check it out, MSP!

Legendary! But please do no go to Mancini's if you have a man-bun or those earrings that stretch out your earlobes. Also stay far away if you are in the Trump cult. Thank you.
