Beautiful cathedral. There are masses regularly and also the church is open most of the time and welcomes visitors. The architecture of this place is so spectacular and full of detail. There is a floor underneath with more things to see and check if you are interested. My main purpose of this trip was to see this church, so I'm not sure about the priest or other information for people that want to see the masses etc. Independent if you believe in religion or not you should check this beautiful place. The organ was so beautiful and echoed everywhere

This place was amazing! Truly a work of art! It's hard to believe places like this still exist. I was in the area and figured I'd stop by. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

Beautiful! The building is a sight to see both from inside and outside. Also, it's on a hill the view of the city is also marvelous especially at night. Clean and we'll maintained. The service is also great the priest's sermons and the music is great. It's a great place to be at peace.

Really, there isn’t a word to describe the beauty of this place. The architecture, detail, just everything is so beautiful. The air smells like flowers, and the neighborhood just makes it 1000x better.

Be prepare to learn about The Cathedral a lot. The tour guide did pressure me for a donation, so I gave him $15. I did get some free CDs from their stock by myself. The 1-hour Tour has 2-parts. First and sitting, it is the 30-minutes listening to the History of the Cathedral. Second and more exciting walking, it is the descriptions of most of the history of the design of the architecture of all stuff. The Senior Tour Guide gentleman was very knowledgeable about everything. Some other younger gentleman helped him in answering most of the questions from the group of visitors. They seem to be family working together.

Catholics- this is site of the Shrines of the Nations. Look online about what this means. Also, first class relics of St. John Vianney located here. Gorgeous church. Tours available.

I don’t know if I’ve ever been in a more beautiful place. It took by breath away. If only I had been able to attend Mass. I did spend quite some time here, entranced by the beauty.

The architecture structure of the cathedral is amazing. Of course, every time you visit Saint Paul you have to at least stop by and admire this impressive building, if you don't have time to enjoy the guided tours for tourists, at least take a photo and admire the view it offers to the city, if and when the temperature during winter is not below zero 🥶.

Very beautiful on the outside but the doors were all locked all the way around. I really wanted to see the inside. They should have a tour guide there. I drove 750 miles for a locked door on a Sunday the day after Christmas. Sad

I recently had the privilege of attending Sunday Mass at the Cathedral, and it was truly a soul-enriching experience. The cathedral's awe-inspiring architecture immediately captured my attention. The intricate details and towering spires left me in awe, reminding me of the dedication and craftsmanship of those who built it. As I approached, the grand entrance welcomed me with a sense of reverence and anticipation. Inside, the interior was equally breathtaking. The stained glass windows bathed the space in a kaleidoscope of colors, casting a serene atmosphere. The echoing acoustics amplified the choir's harmonious voices, filling the space with a sacred resonance. The Sunday Mass itself was a moving experience. The clergy's heartfelt words resonated deeply, and the congregation's devotion was palpable. The sense of community and shared faith was a beautiful testament to the cathedral's significance in the lives of those who gather here. I left with a renewed sense of spiritual connection and a profound appreciation for the dedication of all involved in maintaining this sacred space. I highly recommend a visit to anyone seeking solace, reflection, and a glimpse into the profound beauty of faith. A truly transcendent experience.

We couldn’t see the inside as it was after 6pm. So this review is just based on the outside appearance. Loved how it looked. Parking was free just close to the building.

Cathedral of Saint Paul is an amazing catholic church! You can go in anytime and pray and other catholic traditions. They have masses throughout the day that anyone can attend if they decide they want to. The place is massive and is so nice while having statues of a lot of the Saints. The place is amazing and church doesnt get any better then this!

It's amazing how large this cathedral is. Definitely worth a trip. They're very welcoming to visitors and even have daily tours led by a docent that are very informative. The stained glass in this place is unreal, it's hard to describe their vibrant colors. Street parking is easy and convenient.

Beautiful building. Many statues, carvings, and other symbolic things. They offer tours pretty regularly, but walking around on your own is also satisfactory. Even those who are not a part of the Catholic or Christian faith will find this building and interesting place to visit. Due to the desire for the inside to be quiet and that there are many expensive things everywhere, I would not recommend bringing children younger than 7 or 8.

The St. Paul Cathedral is a must see. You will better appreciate humanity upon visiting this site. It’s a must see whether you are religious or a non-believer. Believe me you will look in awe and it will open your mind to man’s existence on earth.

Absolutely worth a Sunday pilgrimage to participate in mass and enjoy one of the most beautiful Catholic Churches in America. The congregation is involved, the music beautiful, and the holiday absolutely lovely. Do it if you can!

What an amazing church! I really enjoyed the small details in the painting and status. It is nice to have some quiet and relaxing time during the day. Parking was available in the street next to the church. The entrance is for free, and donation is optional.

Words cannot explain the experience of being in such a remarkable cathedral. The history, sculptures, architecture and art are mesmerizing. A single afternoon won't allow you to see all it's grandeur, but take in as much as you can! It felt nice to see such a beautiful place was made to worship God.

A place of beauty that must be experienced firsthand to fully appreciate. Hard to believe a world class place like this can be found in the Midwest. An architectural beauty of the Cathedral is the crown jewel of St. Paul.

Hours are not correct. Google hours says they are open to 6pm during the week. I took a $20 Lyft to get here to closed doors at 5pm. Sadly, I had on the steps with my luggage. A group of ladies came out about half an hour later, so I was confused. I wondered if Mass had just ended. Turns out they made it in right before the 5pm close and were given a tour. The worker was graceful and merciful and let me and my friend make a quick visit inside. I’m thankful for the charity, but am still frustrated by the incorrect time listed on Google.

Magnificent architecture. You are free to walk around if there us no mass - you might even bump into a priest. Make sure to get to the back where there are beautiful sculptures of different biblical figures.

Cathedral Od Saint Paul is one of the most distinctive cathedrals in the United States. It sits on Cathedral Hill overlooking downtown Saint Paul and features a distinctive copper-clad dome. * The building itself is ginormous from the outside. When I entered in, I felt the peace. Walking around in this amazing cathedral made me feel so good. I prayed, took lots of pictures and videos, and enjoyed the magnificent architecture inside. I also bought a bracelet for me and my daughter. The bracelet is % handmade with Murano Glass . And it's from Italy. They only have one left available for sale, but the lady who helped me took the other one from the display and gave it to me. How nice. My daughter and I have been wearing it since then. If you're around the town, I highly recommend a short trip to Cathedral of Saint Paul.

It’s a very cool building and when you’re going towards it try to look for it and you will see how huge it looks like from the road and there is another building right next to it which is also very beautiful.

If you don't visit here you are truly misdsing not only an historic religious building built when everything was hand built. Cornerstone laid in 1907 but this structure is stately and remicent of the Vatican. Truly an awe inspiring building with fabulous statuary and painting. Just a short walk from the James J. Hill Masion 1/2 block away.

What an inspiring, massive yet whole house of worship. A fitting starting point of reflection and gratitude for what we have as we started our time of and at St. Paul. One could spend hours in prayer at the multiple chapels. While there we were fortunate to hear the organist practice on the main organ. What a beautiful sounding instrument!
