Gulf Gate exceeded our expectations. From the size of the condo and amenities to the well-maintained pool and hot tub area, Gulf Gate proved to be a fantastic choice for our St. Pete Beach vacation. You are only a short walk away from the white sand beaches and there are folding chairs available for use and a nice rinse station so the sand stays off the pool deck. The owners that are present are kind, helpful, and welcoming. You are also in close proximity to an array of shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Overall, our stay at Gulf Gate was excellent. We would definitely return in the future and recommend it to others.

Gulf Gate is a beautiful, clean resort that sits right on the beach. It has a pool, hot tub, pool table, and workout room. It's within walking distance of Publix grocery store, the Dollar Tree, Norman's Liquor store and a few restaurants. Every night the ocean puts on a different show at sunset which you won't want to miss. Please note, depending on the unit you rent these are some of the items you may need to bring: Dish soap Hand soap (for kitchen) Dish towels Hot pads Mixing bowls Spatula Baking dish Baking sheet Ziploc bags Storage containers You will need: Laundry soap/dryer sheets

We have been coming here 2 times a year for about 7 years and it's our favorite place to stay. Feels like home away from home. The office is always very pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect. You don't need to have a car because everything you may need it in walking distance. But if you have a car there is even more to do within a close or short drive. We have stayed in several units and they all have been quality. We will continue to visit as many times as we can!

Quality beachfront condo, especially for the price. Units are spacious with well-equipped kitchens. The beach is just steps away through the private pool area, and there's a grocery store and other retail about a block away. Free parking, although you don't really need a car in this area. In-unit laundry was a plus. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return.

We booked thru VRBO. After booking we needed to modify our stay, and we did so with ease. We had a late arrival after hours and they had a very easy after hours checkin process. The pool is small, but who cares when you have the entire beach!!! Property was clean and the room we had was very nice, clean, updated, and cozy!

Our 2nd visit to gulf gate resort. Does not disappoint. Very nice condos. Washer and dryer in units which is a real plus. Beautiful beach.

Garry is very kind and helpful. He made it so easy to book our vacation, and he worked around problems with our flights. I'm sure I'm hoping our room has had some updates. We've been coming here since 1999 and some of the chairs and tables are the same. I also hope the associates are more attentive about the grounds pool area. There was vomit by the pool for 1 1/2 days when we were there in 2021. Not good.

Left a review on there web page already. But I know most good experiences don't get reported. Only the bad. So I try to call out the good just as much as the bad. An this place is the bomb. It's older but the rooms are updated. It's a private condo for the most part but they also rent rooms when available. The beach is perfect there. The pool is small but still great and played back. An the biggest thing I noticed was the outside looked pretty dated. But the rooms are clean and nice. Room 206 is off the chart. Kid friendly but a great place for couples too. Trust me I have traveled all my life to Florida. Stayed in countless condos etc. An this one can hold its own with any of them. Hard to explain further, but trust me.

Location is certainly the selling point. It's right on the beach - you walk out the back of the building and you're in the sand. We booked a room/condo through AirBNB and weren't blown away by anything else than the spot we were at in relation to the Gulf. Our specific unit was quite old and needs lots of maintenance, repairs and refreshing. It was clean, though, and had a full kitchen, 1 1/2 baths and a balcony. Parking is under the building in very snug spaces (though a small handful of exterior spots exist). Don't roll up here in a large truck, large SUV or similar - it'll be really tough to get in/out of your parking spot. It's real close to several restaurants, a Publix (grocery store), CVS, Dollar Tree, a few shops and a couple bus stops.

We love Gulf Gate! We have been coming here for years and have stayed in several units. This is the first time we have been back since the new management and Kenji greeted us with a warm welcome. He was very helpful, knowledgeable of the area, and extremely thorough. We arrived earlier than expected and he made our check-in extremely easy! The grounds were nice and well kept. We stayed in 503. It is a nice unit with a spectacular view. (Could use some updates). Overall, we were pleased with our stay and will definitely come back!
