I am so bummed to find out this place is temporarily closed! My favorite Thai place in St. Petersburg area. It was recommended by my colleague whose husband is Thai. Their dishes were always fresh and delicious. I had dined in and ordered take out numerous time in the past. I wish the owner all the best and hopefully they’ll reopen soon!

Stopped in for lunch, portions are great and the pricing is right. Had the Panang Curry and Amazing Sauce chicken which was a bit sweet.. Panang was delicious! I got it medium but needed a little help from the spice tray! Definitely worth a visit!

One of the best Poke spots in town. They're known for the curry but the sushi is where they shine. They also have boba tea but I'd stay away from it. The boba was not well maintained/stirred so it was either mush or too hard all in the same drink. Pretty friendly staff - especially the sushi chef.

Myself and my companion (Eeyore) really enjoyed the food here. Every dish was flavorful and made with love based on the nice presentation The sushi was fresh, the soup flavorful, and the duck flavorful. Even had some green tea ice cream for dessert. Good menu selection with a few true house dishes. Small restaurant, yet comfortable environment for dining.

Love this place! My go to for take out on the way home from work. The food is excellent quality, the service is 1st class and they are mega quick. Pricing is the best around for Thai. Give them a try, I guarantee you will be back many times over.

I’ve had a lot of Thai food before….this is the best I’ve ever had. Everything is cooked to perfection, seasoned incredibly. The variety and freshness is astounding, impressive how they do it with the space they have. Try any of the Thai specialties and you’re in for a treat, they have 20 different specials that I’ve never even heard of and every single thing is amazing. Do yourself a flavor and eat here!

I've had delivery of the food here but this was my first time dining indoors and I must say...I loved it. I loved my shoyu ramen. My friends had the shrimp tempura, green dragon roll, and we all enjoyed our food. I loved Thai Tea and the atmosphere helped me enjoy it. It was an amazing experience and I came on my birthday so I really did love it! thank you so much!

I'm so glad this restaurant has finally re-opened. They offer a special menu that has authentic Thai dishes you won't find anywhere else but last night we had the staples- Chicken Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle. It was great! The service here is always friendly and the food is always great. Before the fire we would eat there at least twice a week and I'm sure we will be again, :-)

We were having a case of the Monday blues... And the only cure was Thai Food! We were handed a sushi menu, a traditional menu, and a regular menu when we sat down. We started off with Gyoza, Seaweed Soup, and Curry Puffs. Gyoza was pretty standard... But when I tell you that the first bite of Curry Puffs took us back to the night markets in Pai. I immediately knew we made the right decision! While looking at the traditional menu, I noticed that they had Khao Soi and my decision was made. We've tried a few Khao Soi stateside, but nothing has come close to the real thing. This was the real deal! Absolutely delicious!! It made us feel like we were back in Chang Mai all over again! We also had the Sweet Potato roll and Spicy Octopus Roll... and they made it into a heart! Absolutely thrilled we decided to come to this restaurant and will definitely be back!

I ordered takeout from here. I ordered the yellow curry fried rice with chicken in it and OMGOSH. FANTASTIC! It even came with a spring roll that was the best I have ever had. Will definitely be going back to try the sushi and other items. Thanks for the fabulous food.

Went for lunch and we were seated right away. First we got the Tom Ka Gai - soup with chicken, coconut milk and lime juice. It was the best I've had at any other Thai restaurant!! We picked the Pad Snow Pea 🫛 which was so fresh and delicious. Snow peas were crunchy, sauce was fresh and garlicky and the chicken was cooked really well. We also got the green curry that was made so well, spicy and fresh. I had to have her pack it all up before I seriously overate! They give great portions as well. Can't wait to go back and try more options.

This very well may be the best Thai food in the Burg. The hubs and I have been eating Thai around town since 08 and this place stands apart because of their traditional thai menu which we have been eating our way through. The Khao soy and Suki Yaki were standout.

Great experience all around. Everything from the traditional Thai, Khao soi, to the red curry was incredible. The portions are large and prices are reasonable.

The place had great service and great food. It's hard to find good Pad Thai and this is one of the few places that really hits the spot 👌🏽 the only reason for the 4 stars is because the shrimp in our fresh spring rolls tasted slightly funny/ fishy. It might have been on room temperature for too long or about to go bad. Otherwise, it was a great experience!

Lunch specials ($9.99 - $13.99) and come with a spring roll and cup of soup. I was looking for something light, perhaps just the spring roll and cup of soup, and maybe a chicken satay appetizer ($6.99). Unbelievably, the spring roll is $5.99, and the soup, another $5.99 for a total of $11.98! Add the cost of the chicken satay to arrive at $18.97. The cost exceed the entire lunch special! Was the restaurant willing to make an adjustment to a more reasonable price in light of the chicken satay nearly equaling the price of a lunch special, especially since there were others in our party buying lunch? Nope. Pay the whole $12 for the spring roll and cup of soup or buy the lunch special and throw it out. ( I've had their sushi and lunch specials and they are mediocre at best). If I had been the one to choose the venue, I would have chose differently. This place is not what I would consider customer friendly. I'd rather go somewhere where my business is appreciated. Can't recommend.

LOVE! I've lived down the road from Sila Thai for years, but only just went recently after it was re-opened under new owners. It was DELICIOUS! Not only were the prices fair, but the food was cooked well and was so yummy! My boyfriend and I have tried many Thai restaurants, but this one was the cleanest we've seen yet. The atmosphere made you forget you were right off of busy 49th ST. I would definitely recommend coming here with a small party (5 or less). They can get busy, so plan ahead. The staff was very friendly and brought us water like 10 times! They definitely keep you hydrated. We will be back!

This place has a large menu. We've tried several dishes and everything has been delicious each time! Thai hot is indeed hot! It's a small staff, so service isn't always very fast, but the food is always fresh and worth any wait there may be. Can't wait to keep working our way through more of the menu.

Very good! So cool, beautiful, a tiny restaurant but with an excellent food, no sweet, and original. The place have two menus , you need to ask for the the second one. The attention was good and fast. I recommend it.

So happy they re-opened. With new floors and a New Year optimism I hope they have their best year ever. Everyone was friendly and the food is amazing. Best (if not only) 8.95 lunch around. Ample parking and clean restrooms are bonus!

Small hole in the wall type of place, the place was cozy and servers were very friendly. There are lot menu choices and some unique Thai dishes to come back to try. I was looking for the Thai that actually "Thai hot" and I asked them I wanted "Thai hot", this place exceeded my expectations, playing was great and it truly was a tasty and spicy entree. I did not have to add anything extra from the spice tray. I very much enjoyed and made me sweat from the spice hot. Hands the best tasting Thai place in the Tampa Bay area (St. Pete). Do not miss this place if you are having a Thai hot cravings!

Sila Thai & Sushi is the best Thai food around. The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful in giving guidance on their extensive authentic Thai menu. The interior is so cozy and cute. They also offer a seating area at the sushi bar. The food is fantastic and I can’t wait to come back!

We stopped in here for a quick dinner. The food was really good and the service was great. We pretty much had the place to ourselves which we did not mind. We will be back for sure and next time we will ask for the secret traditional menu. Also the Thai tea was delicious. I might go back just for that. Thanks for a great dinner.
