Felt it was time to review the increasing downturn of this Flats location. Dos Tacos, beef...the smallest portions I have ever seen in a taco, and probably less than half what they used to serve. Wasn't even enough to cover the tortilla shell after spreading all the contents around. Guess they don't do onion anymore either. It comes with tortilla chips also, which were stale, and saturated with oil. Oh, and the price has gone up. This has been going on for a while now and I had to post a review. Pretty pathetic food today for both our meals. Hope this store, or franchise can get back on track.

We have been goin here for years. Was a good place to eat now it is probably the last place on earth we will go. The last 2 times we ordered food here it was awful. My wife got a burrito (beef) there was none on it only rice... The guacamole was old and rotten smelling, the queso was curtald and spoiled. (Rotten) This was by far the worst experience we have ever had any where. We ordered take out so, we called and asked to speak to a manager and said we had issues with our food. The manager was not available and the staff told me that they are trying to cut "food cost" so the food had changed a lil bit... If I could give this place a no star review I would. Do not wait your money.

10-15 minutes for a single taco with chips? Automatic tip request for a carry out that I came in and ordered and took to my car? Pay your staff more and stop requesting guilt tips, maybe they'll work a little faster. It was not busy when I walked in. There was one person before me. The taco was good, the young person working the register was polite. The store was clean. Pay them for that.

If you get take out from here always check your bag!! I was able to rectify the missing item before I got home, but once home realized my "wet" burrito was not topped with queso. The food here is okay, but there are definitely better places to go.

This is our new favorite place. All the tacos are delicious and tons of choices for hot sauce.

5 stars for the staff , dedicated ,attentive, and prompt. Decor is funky , cool in a sense. The manager is very attentive he was opening the door and taking trays. Very impressive. The food at least for me the burrito 2 stars very bland for me. Over all the great personalities in this establishment should be rewarded with a raise.

I wish I could write a 5 star review every time I go to this location. Hands down best service in town. Every single one of the staff members greets us and asks if we needed anything. The food is great every time. Thanks for the awesome meals

One of my favorite chains. Food was great atmosphere great,. Have gone here several times due to work, Temporary change, so I wasn't at my usual unit in largo. Staff is friendly enough however they can't seem to get my order right a single time. Stop going here because I have food allergies and they kept adding the food I requested to be removed.

Great atmosphere, cool art on the walls, good tunes playing, staff was very nice to me, and the food was excellent and a good portion. A great balance of both professional, and chill people. 10/10.

Went there for the first time and was really impressed by all the different aspects! The service was top notch and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The food was fresh and came out quicker than anyone could possibly hope for. While there the second time (the same week) we weren’t let down. Still the same great service and great food. So tasty and fresh! Even the detail of the personnel holding up the door for us when entering from the rain, the stars of the show! The only critique I have is the toilets, they needed some cleaning but nothing that stands out from other restaurants. Overall, great experiences both occasions! Highly recommend.

Everything is great! The hot sauce bar is a fun addition to the experience.

I would love to give 5 stars to the people that helped me this evening. I use door dash to order flats; the site does not offer the sauce that I like. Only the Sm@ck my @ss. I called about my door dash order and they were more than happy to accommodate me. Alley was the one name that I got but I do know there were others that helped with my order. Thank you to all of the staff! Even though Door Dash does not give all options for ordering, I am so so happy that the staff was more than happy to help me out! Though I am not able to tip the girls..(and guys) that assisted me.. The least I could do is give them a 5 star review. Thank you all for making my dinner the best! Love TJ Flats! We were immediately greeted (outside the restaurant!), welcomed in, and informed of the daily specials. I know this is a small fast service chain but they treated us like family and went over and above to deliver our drinks and we are happy that they are open later than other restaurants in this area. They were also welcoming to my service dog. Really enjoyed The Hot Bar — favorite was the Rasta Ocean Sauce… and enjoyed our meal so much we left sticky.

Went to dinner with a friend tonight and the start to service was very quick and friendly! The tacos for (one of us) came out a little lacking. We didn’t say anything as we work in the industry, but after just a few minutes the MANAGER (Ali maybe) came over to check on us and our refills. He noticed her tacos and immediately answered “no” for her, and went right to the kitchen to make her a replacement (which was a trillion times better!) We appreciate the hospitality of himself and his staff, even without us saying a word!

We are regulars here for “Taco Tuesday” and we love it. The Taco special is a great deal - $6.99 for two tacos, chips and a drink - and the food is always delicious with generous portions. The staff is generally super friendly and the manager walks around and checks in personally with all the guests. They frequently visit your table and offer drink refills etc. I really like the level of service and the quality of the food. I recommend!

Got takeout taco Tuesday tonight I know its a special for around 8 dollars but there is nothing special about it. The tacos should have more filling they were small like the pic in another review below with hardly anything in them i was hungry after. The staff was nice but the back house needs to learn how to make a taco to spec

This was my first time at a Tijuana Flats. The food was awesome! Our food came out cold due to a technical difficulty- the warmer which keeps the food hot accidentally came unplugged - and the staff was super friendly about making us a new batch of food. The manager even came out with our food and apologized; he was professional and cool. I'd definitely go back to this place again.

This was the best TexMex I've had in years. I'm from Texas, living in another state now, and visiting this area for work. I asked my husband after one bite of his burrito if he liked it and he said, "I'm ready to move here. Just for this." The food is amazing. The service was great. The ambience was fun, too.

A great place to go especially when they have deals. The food is always good and they accommodate my preferences with my gluten issues. They are very nice even when it takes a minute to get our order organized. We have never had a wrong order and they are fast.
