This place told me my CT ID was fake which it was not. I waited in like for about an hour and at 12:30 I finally made it to the front of the line. Only to be rejected by the bouncer (who said he was the manager) because he said my ID was fake. I asked him why he thought it was fake and he got aggressive and pushed me out of the line. I then got a cop to verify my ID and come back with me to crafty squirrel. Then the bouncer said he wouldn’t let me in because I was being rude to him. I am not a rude person I just wanted to have a fun night with my friends. I am very sad and disappointed this happened because I’ve never had a problem like this with crafty before.

bartender refused me and my friend service and told all her coworkers not to serve us after not tipping for our first shot. we had intentions of coming back and opening a tab. instead of politely addressing this “policy” she yelled and gave us a sob story about only making 5 dollars and how she can’t pay rent. very unprofessional, i’ve seen other reviews saying bartenders bring too much personal baggage to work and not giving proper service and i highly agree. we were also the only black customers at the bar so i do believe this was racially motivated because i highly doubt you refuse service to every single person who has not tipped in the past

Stopped by with some buddies for a celebratory night out. Was charged $105 (without tip) for 9 warm WELL tequila shots served in plastic full sized cups. After asking to confirm if they were really selling shots from a $20 bottle of tequila for over $11 the bartender just smirked. Have never asked prices of a well drink before but I would if you stop by here! We left right away

Visited this past weekend with family from out of state. Took over 15 minutes to be acknowledged by any staff after walking in and the place was basically empty. Server had an attitude answering questions about the menu, food was lukewarm as if it was sitting for a while (which would make sense since it took over 45 mins for 3 entrees) and it’s definitely overpriced for the quality. Staff were very unprofessional, laughing and cursing to one another loudly.. Overall not a good experience. Don’t waste your time, try another spot in St. Pete.

Staff are so rude!! I dropped my phone in there and when I tried to go back in to get it they refused to let me back in. Kept telling me the phone wasn’t in there. I was trying to go home but couldn’t call my ride since my phone was in there. At this point I’m balling my eyes out because I’m stranded downtown and they wouldn’t just let me in to get my phone. I knew it was in there since someone offered to bring me to my Airbnb to track it on my laptop. I asked to talk to the manager since the bouncer was so rude and he told me the manager didn’t want to talk to me. Super unprofessional. They told me I had to wait till closing so I sat outside for 3 hours until they closed. When I tried to knock on the door after they had closed I saw all the staff looking at me but wouldn’t let me in still. Even though they told me once they closed I could get my phone back. They finally let a random stranger who had been trying to help me all night go in to get the phone. I was never rude to any of the staff the entire night. Which is why I was so confused on why I was being treated so poorly. One of the bartenders actually tried to let me in to find the phone, however when I got to the door the bouncer said the bartender doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Just all around very poor management and bouncers are very rude.

HORRIBLE PLACE!!! The food was cold. The silverware was nasty. There was crusted food still on it…. When I ask for plastic the bartender finally returns after 20min!! and told me they didn’t have any plastic forks. The bathroom smelt like absolute puke!! and to top it off!! There was a roach upside down in the women’s bathroom. I’m shocked this place is still in business. I look at my friend n we never have experience such a gross and nasty place 🤢 save your money and go somewhere else

Went here for after-work drinks. The bartender Tori was fantastic. Friendly and made delicious drinks. The music was on point too. Definitely a great place to stop when walking around downtown.

I am only reviewing that we got some wings from here on a fun Saturday night. We sat outside so I would have to go back and review everything else but the wings were amazing.

Great little bar. They played a very good mix genre of music. Great place to hang out. Bartenders were very attentive. Not waiting too long to get a drink. Great atmosphere. Decent size dance floor. They have a great selection of different drinks as well. I would recommend this place for having a good evening. I can't say anything negative about it.

Happy hour everyday from 3-6 with $1 raw Oysters and half off Beers

I've been in the bar biz all over the country for 30yrs +, and there is no one out there better than Casey. Always on her "A game" and with a great attitude. Solid. You're lucky to have her. Great job, Crafty!

Came Here to watch the Jets vs. Miami game, it seemed like a pretty busy establishment. Honestly, it was a terrible atmosphere. Absolutely awful. Although, the service, made up for it. Our waitress, I believe her name was Sandy, she was adorable, punctual, beautiful attitude, attentive, really seemed like she was the only one there running the joint. Never saw any other employee helping her. She said it was her first day, and she absolutely killed it. We will NOT be returning to this place, we do not recommend.. whats so ever.

Food was burnt, no real BBQ sauce on the BBQ sandwich it was very dry. The steak and beer cheese sandwich was loaded with some cheese sauce, which tasted awful like straight out of a can. Just very disappointed, only ate it because we had just walked around and were starving and didn't want pizza or Asian food which seemed like the only other options.

Good spot. Nice drink selection. NO PIZZAS! Food menu has shrunk to just bar eats. Otherwise nice location.

I got a BOGO so we decided to try the Crafty Squirrel tonight for dinner. The place was empty and there was one line bartender to serve both inside and out. They had $5 specials on Crown Flavors but they didn't have any lol. We ordered our handhelds and waited. They brought my dad his steak sliders and told me they hadn't started mine yet but they were working on it now (why they hadn't figured that out in the previous 15 min or so is beyond me). It gets better: the guy who brought out the did came back to tell me the brisket was still frozen (again, why that wasn't figured out before this is just crazy). He offered some chips and guacamole and I accepted and ordered the hot chicken. He bright the guacamole and chips, which was a decent size order and it was delicious. I'm guessing it wasn't homemade but for bar food it was above average. The hot chicken was indeed hot and spicy, but it seemed one note.it was a yummy note, though. The chicken breast was juicy and the pickles and coleslaw complemented it well. Overall, the food and drinks were good, the service was ok and the atmosphere was definitely lacking. I probably wouldn't go back.

I stopped in town with my wife for a day trip. We picked the Crafty Squirrel at random. Melissa was our bartender, and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the city. She took phenomenal care of us, and also provided us with first hand knowledge of some of the best places to visit while we were in town. She was the best thing to happen to our vacation and I'm grateful we stumbled up to her bar top. Thanks, Melissa!

Love this place I’d give it a 5 star for the bar. Keep it at the bar because their food sucks! Lo Way too much salt on the wings and way too much sauce on the Buffalo shrimp. They could swim away in it. But cool bar.

My favorite place to hang on central. Love the tables outside. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My friends and I have sampled a lot of the dishes. It's right in the center of the area and great for people watching.

I've never tasted pine sol but if I ever do, I'd imagine it tastes like the Moscow mule that I was served. It literally was the worst thing I've tasted in a while. The only saving Grace of this place is the music and the Bulgarian pretzel. Service was subpar. They looked like they were done for the day and ready to go. They were cleaning over the top. I understand staying tidy but these guys weren't still for any amount of time while I was there. Is it excellent work ethic or annoyance for working and trying to end the night early? I'm not sure but it definitely made the environment tense and uninviting. Only reason I came here was cuz Saigon was too packed and definitely won't be returning. Two stars for the music and pretzel but honestly it's a one and a half, if that. Please do better.
