Welcome to the neighborhood! These guys are off to a fantastic start. They did their market research and realized that while the immediate area is full of amazing old-school Italian cafes, there are only two good Third Wave coffee spots within a 2km radius. Café Caron & frères understands that it is quality, above all, that makes a great cafe. Our first impression with 5-stars - an excellent Third Wave cappuccino. Their menu has more than one would expect. The food selections look great and we’ll be back regularly to try them. Look for ongoing excellent creativity in what we hope with be a neighborhood mainstay. ***EDITED 23 April 2023:*** So I am fièrement un Caroniste! ᕙ(`▿´)ᕗ This is the best café in Montreal. Period. I am here every day - the most regular of the regulars. I have been at some of the best cafes in the world with over 3 million miles of travel. I put Café Caron & frères firmly in this group. Simon, Xavier, and the entire team are very passionate about everything they do and this begins with a curated coffee experience. To sit at Caron and have a coffee is the best coffee experience in Montreal. The coffee is always prepared with care, they bring in beans from the best roasters in Montreal, the province, and the world. The food is superb. My preference is their vege-pate sandwich. For a city with a lot of great vege-pate (it’s kind of a thing here) Caron’s sandwich is salty, savory, and utterly delicious. To sit inside, out front on the bench, or in the side yard on the picnic tables is always very accommodating. No matter how busy the Caron brothers are in this very popular spot, you will always be made to feel at home here. In my original review, I hoped that they would aspire to be part of our Little Italy community; in fact, they have emerged as leaders, always looking to make people happy. If you are anywhere in the city, do not miss a visit to Café Caron & frères!!

Delicious coffee. Super strong. Recommend getting the cold brew. It’s also a good place to work or do things on your laptop. Highly recommend.

Simply THE BEST!! I’d give this cafe a 6 star if I can. You can order anything here and you won’t be disappointed. I come here every week.

A very pleasant and relaxing ambience, great coffees and an awesome crew. Got to try some of their baked goods, the delicious breakfast sandwich and a ham and cheese sandwich pressed in a croissant. Everything is delicious and fresh. Would have tried more items from the menu, but physically ran out of space... but not before I had their seasonal Pumpkin Spice latte, which was deliciously flavourful and not excessively sweet. Theres a quaint outdoor patio located on the left of the coffee shop, so I'd recommend grabbing a seat outdoors while the weather permits.

Incredible cafe! The sandwiches were delightful. The latte was smooth and so beautiful. And the London Fog was to die for. The vibe was wonderful cozy and cheerful while clean and modern. The employees were friendly, efficient, and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Can’t wait to come back often.

Cute little café with top-quality products and service.The setting is relaxed but cozy, with different seating options for all crowds (bar, couch, table, terrasse, bench). Coffee is of course excellent (Caron brothers are known for this ), but food is also a must if you stop here!Personal fav is the breakfast sandwich, I’ll definitely be coming back for it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a casual spot to catch up with friends for coffee or have a snack!

Cute little cafe. Iced coffee is really good and refreshing on a hot day.

I love the atmosphere here, staff is so friendly and smiley with everybody. I like to get coffee beans here and I get to enjoy a free cup of coffee with the purchase (they also allow you to claim it later). Weird side note: their restroom is so clean and has a really pleasant smell.

Great spot for a quick morning coffee and/or for working. It wouldn't be crowded because the space is not huge but that's the type of places I usually prefer. Staff was very welcoming. The brakfast sandwich was a bit of a disapointment for me but it's a matter of personal choice. Other than that, hot drinks and croissants are good. I would revisit if I need to work out of home sometimes.

Great coffee, friendly staff, nice seating options for socializing or working. Also: in addition to some coffee equipment, they sell so many different brands of coffee beans! One small critique: I think their baked goods selection could use some reinvention. Nothing I have tried from there has been particularly good.

The coffee there is great and the ambience is in general very comfortable (double points for the sofa and not too intrusive music!). The large variety of beans and milk in the cafe also suits well to my taste. PS especially liked the pistachio milk I bought home although it's quite expensive😂
