Really great experience! Nice service, cosy atmosphere and small but strong menu. Theres currently one vegan option on the menu (the tomato bean dish). The sauerkraut was good as well! Very good cherry cider.

Where does one even begin? I suppose with my compliments to the food. I had the burrito, but I came to realize it wasn’t a burrito. It was an edible bundle of nourishment, prepared so skillfully it almost brought tears to my eyes. The flavors danced in my mouth and there was an undeniable harmony, perhaps a metaphor for the cafe itself. When I first arrived, I was struck by one of the waiters. He had an angelic way about him. Almost as if he contained so much light it couldn’t possible be contained inside him. He radiated such kindness and warmth. I instantly felt at peace, embraced. I later learned he was a wandering soul, he came from America and his name was Seth. I’ve come to the conclusion that a sort of magic can be witnessed here. In dark moments I think of it and of Seth and I am healed of my suffering, and optimistic for a world where an angel walks among us.

Cosy, bohemian and relaxed place. The atmosphere was so relaxed. The food was delicious and he was able to alter it to be dairy free. The wine was lovely. It felt like fine dining but also like your friend's living room. Highly recommend. Best place I've been to in Montreal food and atmosphere wise.

This charming restaurant is now vegetarian and not vegan. I took my vegetarian niece for lunch and the flavours in the tapas were eye popping. We shared a bottle of exceptional Chardonnay. I also had the soup but my niece was full. Two hours after lunch the flavours are still swirling in my mouth. It is small but lovingly decorated. I sat on the banquette at the window, my niece on a chair, both of us enjoying the view from the window. The restaurant was quiet because the other clients were basking in the sunshine at the back of the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the owner who is from Tunisia. It is currently (April 2022) only lunch and closes at 2 PM.

A lovely, quaint "café" with an unusual terasse. The food is amazing! Every meal is tasty and the employees are very nice. The owner often comes down and serves you or chats with you of you are up for it. Good customer service. When you reach the terasse, you sit under the canopy of trees. The big rusted garden door and tall bricks building add interesting elements to the background. A nice place for a date or a quick bite if you want a quiet place.

Very homey and thoughtfully designed interior, menu was small but curated and everything tasted incredible - great vegetarian options too. Our host was fabulous and the whole experience felt very personalized, will definitely be returning!

Ever been to grandma's house for lunch? Well this is kind of like that except Grandma is a vegan/vegetarian and grandma isn't really grandma but rather a very sweet young woman. Food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very cute. Fantastic little books to read while you wait as well.

Walked in with our two year old daughter, loved the atmosphere. Delicious food. Most of all the hospitality and service. Had a cheese plate and both pasta dishes. Enjoyed it so much. Will be sure to return!!

We had an amazing experience here! We strolled in here because it looked interesting and the ambiance was just what we were looking for - warm and cozy. We had the burrata salad and a mushroom pasta which was absolutely delicious. We wanted to try their different wines and asked for wine recommendations, and each one was organic and super tasty! Even the beer available in a bottle was really good. The gentleman that served us provided such great service and made us feel like family. The prices were also extremely reasonable. We will definitely return. Highly recommended! Food 5 stars Service 5 stars Ambiance 5 stars Value 5 stars

We wanted a date-night and we just stumbled into probably the best date restaurant in Mile End! The attentive owner/server/chef personalized our experience so well. We had a delightful evening and will be returning!

This time, I tried Puttanesca; I loved it. Well done made pasta, melted tomatoes, flavored by capers and parsley (was it Parsley?!) For wine, let’s go with red, Italian, dry wine: Perricone, from Sicily. If you weren’t sure, just ask Islem. I definitely trust him. (Previous review:) Cosy place, friendly service, delicious plates; Picture is one of them: Burrata

Great dinner and the atmosphere was awesome for first time . I ordered puttanesca, champagne and dessert and it was beyond my expectations considering the good price. The guy there, Islem was the best ever. I will go again with family. 100% recommended!

Had the most lovely experience here in the back garden area. Small but thoughtful menu, and a wonderful collection of eclectic wines. Kinda felt like going to a friends house but your friends house is also a restaurant.

Delicious vegetarian-focused cuisine in a gorgeous, relaxed space run by a great person (who was happy to walk us through the menu and give us suggestions for what else to do during our trip to Montreal). A true highlight, even in a city with such a storied food scene. We had a great time sitting in the beautiful backyard space with a glass of wine. Make sure to get the burrata!

We have discovered this little gem in the middle of the Mile End neighbourhood. The atmosphere, the food, the music and the service are great. They are so nice people!! We will come back! It is the kind of place where you can feel as in your own house! Thank you very much!

My friend and I are only in Montreal for three days but if I lived here I would be coming to this spot all of the time. We went for dinner and got the puttanesca pasta and the burrata to share and it was such an amazing meal. The atmosphere was also lovely. We sat outside and admired the David Bowie and Jim Morrison stained glass as we ate. The real highlight was our server who chose the most delicious natural wine for us to have with our meal and thoroughly explained the menu to us due to our lack of french skills— was all around just the sweetest person.

Amazing intimate space in the heart of Mile End. The wine selection is out of this world and prices are quite low! Food is delicious too, good vegan options, anything you desire :)

Best vegan/vegitarian place that I have been to in Montreal. The owner is super cool and down to earth and her staff have all been beyond nice to me. The food is authentic and real and real tasty!!! The prices are great. You have to see this place. It is ADORABLE! Inside and outside seating even though there are only about 10 or so tables. It is truely a little slice of heaven.

A small, cool looking cafe/restaurant, with very nice atmosphere. Had a brilliant vegan branch with their interpretation of a shepherd's pie, and a large, fresh and tasty salad. Coffee was very good and the service was very pleasant and helpful. Looking forward to get back here again, highly recommended!

Fantastic spot! We stopped here during our stroll through the Mile End and it was just what we needed. The owner and server were kind and helpful, the back patio was peaceful and cute, and the food was off-the-chain delicious. We agreed that it beat out our favorite vegan place at home in NYC. :) We loved our Indian burger, quesadilla, and Black Betty sandwich; even the shredded beet and carrot side was delicious in its own right. My husband forgot his retainer and we raced back, where the owner and staff helped us look through the trash - that is truly above and beyond. We're so glad we stopped in!

Super cool new place with art and sandwiches made with love. The owner is an adorable person and the style so unique. Enjoyed my sandwich on the bench and my baby was immediately quiet and soaked up the ambience.
