Not an easy wave for those used to surfing in the ocean - quite technical due to its width and power IMO - but the sunsets and sunrises are all worth it. I would recommend to take the initiation courses at ksf if you’d like to learn how to surf there. Remember it’s a river with current (although many would tell you it’s not a strong one), everyone should approach this with caution and prioritize their own safety. Once you take the courses at ksf you will be allowed to rent their equipment if you haven’t decide whether you’d like to get your own as it can be quite an investment if unsure. Enjoy it! 😎

Very fun place to go! Strongly recommend a life jacket.The waves are small but they are still fun.

Unique surf spot in Montreal. Good vibe and the local community are always there to help. There's no competition to catch the wave like in the ocean. Everyone is super kind and would always help you if you need assistance.

Best time to go is before 7 am and don’t forget to bring your towel and tons of energy
