The hotel was nice and roomie, and the reception area was nice with an outside area where you can take your drink and relax. The negative is that homeless people are camped out outside the emergency exit doors blocking the exit. Also as a diamond member I am use to having a free breakfast, they advised me that I don’t get a free breakfast since they’re different from other Hilton hotel. First I heard if this. As a diamond member and frequent guest I never get questioned about receiving points or getting breakfast.

I stayed here for 7 nights over the span of two weeks. I like my experience the first time so I stayed again. First time I stayed at floor 2 and second stay at the top floor. The room at my second stay was much better for the same price. Breakfast is very very good. Location is super convenient close to the train station and city center. Gym is above average for this type of hotels. They do have a washer and drier in case is needed. Would stay again if I’m here in Brussels. Lorenzo

Was informed by the clerk when checking in that I had breakfast included. The next day I was getting breakfast and at the end of my meal I was informed it was not included in my room and they charged me 25 euro. The old bait and switch. The rooms are also old and dirty. Shower is poorly designed and water gets all over the main area of the bathroom, perfect for mold growth. The location is far from the city center. Enjoy your stay. The surrounding area is also very unsafe. I know of people robbed in this area recently and I myself have been harassed multiple times by certain types of individuals who loiter here. Consider yourself warned.

I've requested a baby cot but the hotel was not able to provide one. They sent me a message two hours before check-in, the same day of my arrival. So the night and the experience was not that good. Also, there was an embedded dirt marks in the bath-thub, so those rooms should not be proposed to customers until the problem is fixed

Great experience! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of options and delicious. The gym was clean and decent. Overnight experience was very good. Within a walking distance of everything!

Great location, good breakfast, the employees are nice, but we had bad luck all the time at Hilton, this time it was a problem in the toilet and we had to move in to another room just before to sleep, we were already in pajamas, is kind of uncomfortable. The restaurant didn't have high chairs for babies, in the end the manager resolve this situation because we were couples families with babies, they wait until more families complained about it. On their favour I can say that the manager remove the payment of our parking and bought high chairs(after 3 days).

I've traveled all around the world and stayed at hundreds of hotels. This property stands out among all my trips as one of the best. The staff was very accommodating and a great resource for someone who's never been to Brussels before. The rooms were great and so was the breakfast each morning. This location is also fantastic. Walking distance to so many great places and public transportation.

Pros: Location is great for business travelers. Easy access to metro. Check-in/check-out was quick and easy. A/C worked very well. Breakfast was okay - it’s the usual buffet. Shower facilities were nicely done and had every product you need (and they smelled good). Close to a lovely square with tons of cafes. Anais in group bookings was awesome when organizing my group’s reservations. Cons: Rooms could be cleaner (hair in bathroom, stuff in corners, lint all over one bed). Beds were very hard. Pillows have no substance so I had to use 3 for support. I had an ironing board but was missing an iron. Walls are quite thin - woken up by a neighbor’s personal alarm at 5 a.m. and loud door shutting. For a last minute business trip, it was fine but there is much room for improvement.

Registration desk and managers there, especially and old tall man in a mask - are disaster. So disappointed about this hotel. They made two times payment for our room with no excuses and explanation, behave really rude and unprofessional. Room in general was ok, but bathroom was dirty, wi-fi really slow and there’s no AirPlay to connect you phone with TV.

Simply do not understand why this hotel has high ratings… we booked a room here through Airbnb, and were really disappointed by many things. It’s December so we paid €100/night - we find it so not worth the value. Stains on chairs and walls, hairs from previous occupier on the bathroom wall, the first time we entered and inspected the room - the cleanliness is honestly worse than the many actual airbnb homes where I lived with the hosts. Supplies are pretty inadequate. We were only provided with two small sized towels. After 5 nights I asked for new towels, and this time we got proper sized towels. (But it has some green dirt on it and subtle yellow stain on another.) No tissue paper, slow wi-fi… For the price we were charged (at least the price they set on Airbnb), this is just so extremely unsatisfying and doesn’t feel like a 4-star hotel at all. Another annoying thing is that there’s a loud clicking sound from the keycard-holder inside our room, that could last for hours sometimes. It’s so loud at night like an alarm which woke us up one night. We told this to the receptionist- the first time no result (he said he would check during the day but I guess he forgot), the second time, another receptionist told us that the technician was away until 4 days later, and said she’ll make a note for the technician to fix it after they are back…. Fortunately, we have good ear plugs which saved the nights… We really regret spending this amount of money here :(. Gonna avoid everything under Hilton in future and be more careful when booking a place on Airbnb.

A bit smaller but still lovely hotel in Brussels where I've staid many times Rooms are a bit "Garden Inn basic" but worth what you've to pay for them. Staff are very friendly and welcoming (especially JP). Hotel parking is a bit difficult to find but your car will be secure.

This hotel was nice and clean. Easy to find. The blackout curtains were not long enough for the windows and there were a lot of street lights outside the room we stayed in. The bed was also facing the windows, so it was hard to get to sleep with all the light. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

A good and clean hotel. The price is high for that hotel. For a problem that was between a person who made the reservation and the hotel did not help me. As soon as I entered the hotel after the greeting, the first thing was to pay, even though I didn't have to pay. Prices varied from day to day. Breakfast was €24 and very expensive for what they offered, very poor. I have been to other hotels and I am satisfied.

Great Location, the staff was nice and helpful whatever we needed to. I'm disliked it because of room's service. The kitchen was good but the equipment was so dirty, we didn't have anything to our disposition to clean it (casserole with burnt rice) not enough kitchen stuff to make simple dishes. The cleaner passed just one time for 1 week, we didn't have any materials to clean the room (no sponge, no tissue,...). A little bit disappointed for the price and the room, everything was good expect of those things who can be very annoying for a long stay

Very nice hotel, we stayed here to visit Christmas Market and were very satisfied. Stuff was kind, bed was super comfortable, we had a baby cot for our daughter. The room is quite spacious. We really enjoyed breakfast - very large selection for any taste. Short walk to Av Luise and 25 minutes nice walk to The Grande Place. A lot of restaurants around. definitely recommended

Spent a night in the newly opened wing (room numbers are x.x). They were amazing apartments big enough to host a family of five. The staff was amazing. Especially, Yasmine who took care of us and made sure our visit was amazing. Breakfast was great. Small selection but its just what you needed. Parking was a bit tight in the garage but I can’t complain. Especially about free parking in Brussels.

This hotel is in a good location only a few meters from the next subway station. On the other hand it is quite at least rooms with garden view. That could be improved is - the breakfast (this is not that good what I usually know from this type of Hotel) - the house keeping is not really reliable. On 3 days out of 7 we had to ask at the front desk for it.

This place was truly a gem. The rooms were clean and the staff was wonderful. We received a voucher for a drink at the bar upon checkin. The breakfast was hot and delicious. There was such a variety. We had a tough time finding the parking deck but found a spot on the street so 30€ saved there!

This a great hotel for traveling families. My room had a small but well laid out kitchen, and the room was well laid out. Breakfast was good, and included for diamond members. I enjoyed my stay.

I stayed ONE night. My card has MULTIPLE charges. Why? I was told I was getting charged an incidental fee which would drop off after I check out. It has not dropped off. As a matter of fact, it has posted to my account and there’s another charge pending. This is ridiculous! This needs to be fixed as soon as possible! My state wasn’t even worth the money that I paid. The room and hotel itself smelled. I could barely even sleep at night because of the smell of the cigarette smoke. I had to crack open my window. There were stains all over the walls, the furniture, and on the carpet I’m not just my room but inside the hallway. I couldn’t even sit on the desk chair because there is a white stain on it. The refrigerator was dirty. This reminded me more of a motel. I would never stay here again and the amount that you guys keep charging it is a reminder of why I won’t. I know a manager usually replies to these things with a generated response, but someone needs to reply with a solution. My one night was only supposed to be €118. The incidental fee was supposed to be refunded. Update 7/4/2023: after submitting a complaint, I was told via email that I would be contacted within three business days by the manager. I have yet to hear back regarding anything from anyone. They basically stole money from me. After looking closely at my bank statement, I see that there were other chargers outside of the charge for my stay. This is criminal. I would not recommend this place AT ALL.

Super comfortable hotel in a convenient location for a great price. By most measures deserves a 5/5, but unfortunately we had a terrible experience with the laundry where we found out the night before our departure that the dryer does not work at all. Our clothes were soaked after a 1.5 hour long drying cycle and, as a result, we were forced to stay awake and iron, blow dry, and hang our clothes just so they would be dry enough to pack. The gentleman at the front was kind enough to refund our laundry, but if such facilities are offered they should at least work.

Is a decent hotel that seems to be in the middle of renovating. Our room was the family room on the 6th floor and it was much larger than I anticipated. It had 2 bedrooms, one toilet, a separate shower room, and an open plan kitchen living dining area. It had a fridge and a small hob and a dishwasher, though I couldn’t get the dishwasher to turn on. The breakfast was alright, had breads and pastries, eggs, bacon, hash browns, fresh juice, yogurt granola ect. The second day breakfast was very busy and they ran out of things quickly. The staff was nice and accommodating. It’s about a 5 min walk from the 2/6 train line.

Our stay at Hilton Garden Inn Brussels was elevated by Sophie, a truly exceptional staff member. Her outstanding service, particularly during the breakfast buffet, made our visit memorable. Hats off to Sophie and the team for making our experience truly special. Highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay in Brussels.

The location is not town center. To walk anywhere you must walk through sketchy neighborhoods. Most of the staff does not have very good English. The elevator did not work all 3 days here. Could not press down button from level 2. Told someone each day and each day they said they would call someone. All and all it was a bad experience. This is not a good hotel for visiting Brussels, maybe for business but I do not even know about that.

I had a hard time finding anything negative to say about this hotel. Everything was just right: clean, great service, and almost in the center of everything, just a 10-15 minute walk away. I highly recommend it!

Arrived on day 1 of a 4 day stay. Only one electric power point on one side of the bed. My partner uses a medical equipment to breath when he sleeps. No other convenient places to plug in or charge cell phones. Then we discovered the shower drain was blocked. We could not call the desk or housekeeping because the phone didn't work. Also noticed there wasn't a list of phone numbers on or near the phone. We went down stairs to report the blocked drain and was told the problem would be fixed the next day. We saw the desk manager the next morning (day 2 of 4) and were told we would be refunded for day one, the drain would be fixed, the phone fixed while we went out for the day. When we returned at 2:3 pm, nothing had been done. Again we went to the front desk and were told the wrong room was looked at and had no problem so our room was not fixed (including beds made). My partner requested that the beds be made, the drain fixed and an electric extension cord be provided immediately. The operation manager decided to come to our room door, bang loudly and then aggressively complain to us FOR COMPLAINING, saying we "must have left a do not disturb sign on our door". We weren't provided with a do not disturb sign to begin with! He then began insulting us saying he "pitied our grandchildren for having us as grandparents". What?! When either one of us made any attempt to address the problems we had complained about, he would put up his hands and turn his back to us. After realizing he had insulted us, lost his temper and was being unreasonable, he called housekeeping, brought an electric extension cord but continued to be rude. The phone was never fixed and was unusable. The hand sink stayed plugged up. I went to the front desk and requested the general managers phone or email and was told ,"we don't have it. Just use the email for the operation manager!!! The man who was rude to us?? 👎 No. We checked out to discover no one had refunded the first day, but we did get the name of the general manager and his email. We stayed here a year ago and it was fabulous 👌 👏! We will never come here again.

Hotel located close to metro station and it is easily accessible. Rooms are spacious, with good sound isolation and comfortable. Really enjoyed provided comfortable pillows. What I don't liked is the lack of attention to details and accuracy from staff. Not the best experience to get they keys not of mine room and enter the room of others guests.

During my visit to Brussels I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for what was planned as a two-night visit, but I ended up checking out after just one night. The hotel's location is quite convenient, being close to a metro station, which made it easily accessible. The rooms were not so spacious, but they offered good sound isolation, which contributed to a peaceful environment. The bed and pillows were comfortable, which I really enjoyed.

spend 5 days here, breakfast is good, front desk is helpful. The downside is the cleanness of room itself. After check-in, I need to flush the toilet cleanly myself. Also, the shower has hair left over. Hopefully it's one time issue, as I'm diamond member of Hilton, travel/use Hilton all the time and feel it shall NOT be disappointed by customer with its brandname.

Last 2 weeks we stayed at HGI Brussels. During check-in in Front Desk so friendly and warmly welcomed us. The room was as good as expected. The bedsheets didn't change for 4 days and the pillow was so thin and uncomfortable when sleeping. Restaurant: completely absent of service. Every day a different set of Traine who stand in a corner with hands on the back without knowing what to do. No uniform no welcome procedure no interaction at all with customers. The only difference is that they wear name tag so we know that is service. Otherwise would be street people. Even the cashier at the shopping center has a uniform. The service people come to work or fashion shows?

Very friendly stuff. Will try to accommodate you as soon as you make your first step into the the lobby. Clean room, AC if you need it. Good selection of snacks and drinks at the pantry. After slight confusion with room reservation, everything was taken care of. 15 min easy walking to the main street with all high-end stores such as gucci, prada etc. Many places to eat from 30 feet around. Metro 5 minutes away. Happy staying.

The service quality was very low. They asked me to send my credit card data in plain email. I didn't get the correct amount of points for my stay. They didn't reply to my email. Horrible service, stay away from them!

Loved the hotel, slightly longer to walk to city centre but that's calculated in the discounted price. recommend Uber for >2 people to Brussels Airport. Neat and Clean, pleasant and friendly staff.

I usually always love my stays at Hilton however this time I can't say the same. The check in process didn't go as planned. We booked two rooms next to each other (two twins and a family room) but yhe family room wasn't ready until 2 hours after check in time. When the room was ready it was filled with flies and cigarette smoke. We called the front desk and was advised they would try to move us but all the family rooms were booked. They also advised they would move both rooms since we were a family with kids. (I checked the app and it showed several family rooms still available) After waiting 30 minutes for a call we went downstairs to inquire about any updates and we were advised they could only one the family room and nothing else. We agreed since we had no other options. We got to the new room and checked it not. It was clean but the mini fridge didn't work. We also tried to call the other room to make sure we could reach them but the phone in the other room didn't work! We advised the front desk of both of these and the response was,"Oh yeah some rooms not everything works". This was a first for me at a Hilton. not once was there an apology or any offer to correct the problem. This will be the last time we stay at this hotel ever.

For the price that I am paying, the quality of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is very clean, staffs are helpful (late check in and check out was not an issue at all), breakfast is good, overall we enjoyed our stays there

Jean-Pierre at front desk was very kind & helpful. Original room, although nice to be upgraded to a suite, was musty smelling and not that clean. I was unpleasantly surprised when we asked for another room, that we were not moved to a similar size room. Breakfast was great, including the young lady handling all the food, great work & very kind! Brussels was a great place to visit, and the location of this hotel was perfect.

The hotel is roughly 15 minutes from the train station, 25-27 minutes from city center and 10-15 minutes from shops, restaurants and Ferris wheel. The rooms were clean and very spacious! My husband enjoyed the gym. The breakfast was both hot and cold, no complaints.

Nice hotel from inside, outside a prefabricated building (maybe this may be considered irony). Very friendly staff, very good breakfast. Nice bathrooms with strong showers. Lively street, god restaurants 20 min on foot. For kids: beautiful playground nearby.

Great place to stay in Brussels. Very convenient as to access to interesting place in the city. Very clean nd friendly staff. Love the place . The only complication is access to the garage (if you driving) have to do a little maneuver through a back street) beside everything in this hotel is a ten for me .

Fairly decent hotel, a bit on the small side but I found this cosy. Was missing the complimentary water in the room but other than that it was good for a 1 night stay. My room was a decent size. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff were very welcoming and attentive.

Decent sized room, and well equipped. Decent television. Would of liked usb plugs in the wall. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast seems disorganised and badly laid out. No information or help for customers whilst waiting on pcr test e.g. no breakfast :( as can't leave the room. Had to goto the reception to collect food even though isolating.

I had a perfectly great experience in this hotel, especially coming from a horrible hotel in Paris, being able to enjoy a Hilton was so nice! Room was spacious with all the comforts and clean! The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable! We didn't go for the breakfast but from the room and the reception, I can happily give 5 stars as everything was as we expected! :)

  • 2/5 Débora W. 2 years ago on Google
The room was good and comfortable, an acceptable distance from the most central point. Room service is pretty bad we stayed 3 nights and nothing was replaced...not even toilet paper. The hair dryer works for 1 minute and then turns off, the room phone didn't work either. Half decadent.

I stayed here total of ten days during TML W2 and W3 and it was amazing. The staff were great and friendly. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked great in my room and kept it cold during hot summer days. I My room was facing the street and didn’t hear much noise. The breakfast buffet was very delicious with variety of selection. Julie from the front desk was very helpful during my checkin and to be honest everyone else at the front desk was always their to help. I did have a rude encounter with a night attendant Carlo which I brought up to manager during the day and they were very understanding and appreciative.

Convenient Location for Meetings. Rooms are o.k. and clean, but nothing special. Friendly, attentive, helpful, and efficient staff, especially at the reception and the breakfast restaurant. Overall, significantly over-prized, both for the room rate, but also the cost of the breakfast.

Amazing deal, great location and staff! We stayed in the residence (little studio with kitchenette) and had a wonderful time. Only thing is if it was possible to put more tools in the kitchen it would be of great help!

Very very good staff! They are so helpful. We had a minor issue with the room and Jasmine and two others took care of everything immediately and with empathy, beyond courteous and kind, A+ excellent.

We spent 7 days there, and each day something else didn't work! First, the safe didn't open, then the A/C wasn't cooling. Then, twice, our e-key didn't open our door. But the worst part was that every day our room wasn't made until 5 pm. We always left the hotel around 9am, and when we came back around 4.30pm, we had to wait in the lobby for our room to be cleaned. We certainly don't recommend this hotel.

  • 3/5 Saj M. 1 year ago on Google
Not a 4 star by any standard. Definitely a lowest tier Hilton I have visited. The staff are not very welcoming and the cleaning can be improved a lot. Also the gym is poor. It has weights but no bench 🤔.

  • 5/5 j m. 1 year ago on Google
Forget the strange reviews, this is a nice, clean, safe, cheerful hotel! The staff is wonderful and the breakfast spectacular! There are on site laundry machines and a small work out facility. The neighborhood is excellent, filled with a large variety of restaurants within 15 mins. walk. Public transport is very close by. Avenue Louise & Toison d’Or are a short walk away. Two of us were here almost a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, the bathroom bright and fresh... no complaints (other than perhaps the room heat could have been more robust!). I will definitely stay here again.
