Not the best experience. It is a nice place to sit, but we had to wait a lot to order, we had to wait for our drinks, about 40 mins in total and as u see in the picture the negroni is pocket size but fully priced (8.5 euro)

Nice terrasse, half of it in the sun in the afternoon. Tasty cookies and hotdogs ( I liked the frankfurter, fish & porc confit not so much). Nice location in a beautiful part of St gilles between Place Van Meenen and Place Morichar.

There is something about the Croissants that I cannot get enough of. Everything else is of good quality. One of those cafes that you can go back to everyday.

Very beautiful place! There are too many people who amuse themselves in the evening with drink! Price of alcohol for Brussels are okay the store is self-service don't go and wait seated If you go too late you may not be able to sit at night

One of my favourite bars in Saint Gilles aproppiate for the whole day. Nice coffee and brunch options ( live the cheesecake) and good hotdogs too, with plant based option available! Also a nice place for working/ studying.

This place is overall nice, even though it's quite unremarkable. The atmosphere is basically inexistant (although after around 7pm they usually start blasting music which makes it a bit hard to have a conversation). The beer selection is ok but not impressive by any standard. The staff is super friendly, and they have a very nice terrasse. The inside is a little cramped.

We were there on Two consecutive dass, once for Dinner, once for breakfast. Both Really good, reasonable prices, Friendly servers

Arguably one of the most hip cafe in Saint gilles/Brussels. Always crowded. Some regular customers are annoyingly loud though

The only place open for a late afternoon lunch on an August Monday. Short but creative menu, panko chicken and aubergine, plus a mackerel plat du jour. Brisk service and delicious meal, excellent ingredients and a generally cheerful ambience. Would happily come again.

Friendly waiters and a great ambiance whatever the hour. You can bring your laptop and dogs are also allowed during the day. The only point of improvement is the toilet cleanliness. Whether you are here for a morning coffee with a friend or to watch the world cup, you'll have a great time.

Thé waitress was very kind and cute. Homemade Ice Tea was delicious.

This place is a classic in Saint Gilles for partying, throw a before or a end of the day catch up with friends! Great situation, friendly staff but I really prefer their terrasse as inside it's often dirty. (The toilets are 🤢)

This is a great place location wise, interior wise, terrace wise. The music is good, the atmosphere also. I come often and the only thing that I dislike here is the staff. Not attentive at all, slow and does not make me feel welcome. I am not sure is that because I don’t speak french or something else.

Stopped in on a whim. They were patient with our lack of shared language and the specials for lunch were delicious!

Can’t you hire another person ? These people are absolutely overloaded with work they can just not handle all the orders. Very very bad experience. We would have liked to get more drinks but it was simply impossible

After reading lots of different reviews about La Pompe (about a slow and unfriendly service and expensive food and drinks) we were very curious to go there. Okey, we didn't get our drinks very fast, but it was a relaxed Sunday afternoon. The drinks and food were delicious and not that pricy. Also the staff was very friendly and it's a very cool place to spend a couple of hours. I will definitely come back here!

Awesome cafe with a great terrace and cool atmosphere. The live music is great on the weekends and so is the brunch. Good menu with lots of options-the hot dogs are great! I come for studying, a drink after work, or anytime I’m hungry! Definitely recommend!
