Beautiful park for kayak lovers Or zen moments lovers. Lovely place to take a moment and breathe fresh air, walking around the lake or reading a book. Beautiful.

Amazing rental service, wonderful staff. They do not do reservations, but don’t worry because they will not run out of equipment. I recommend coming early, before noon on weekends because they get busy. There’s not much parking on site but you can go to side streets. The time of rental starts when you pay so that’s how they calculate it. Overall amazing

This is one of the beautiful places for the nature lovers to simply get lost in a beautiful nature very close to the hectic urban centers.. If you enjoy Kayaking or Canoeing, this place is for you...Either rent one or bring your own, and go explore many islands that surrounds you. Most of the islands have picnic tables and Washrooms, so you can basically enjoy a day out with friends or families.... Also it is very pleasant place to fish ...

Josee is a wonderful host. Barista grade coffee shop (weekends only right now). Always a lovely and unique activity waiting for me. And with the impressive new building and FREE MUSEUM what's not to like..

Awesome experience. You can drive a kayak and go to islands to visit them. Unfortunately it is overpriced.

Nice place to kayak when you don't want to go too far. It doesn't have corridors of forest but more in the wide waters. The dock where we had lunch had a dry toilet! Convenient indeed. Cafeteria had just opened and the Cappuccino was excellent!

Laval has this amazing landscape to enjoy. Go rent a Kayak, a paddle board or a canoe. They are taking great measures regarding de covid and you'll benefit from a magnificent day with family. Parking lots, picnic tables and more. Absolutely gorgeous!

This review mainly concerns the rental service. I would give the rental service 1star but the scenery/ambiance 4 stars. Due to COVID, they only allow for min 3hrs rental or full day. And they also inflated their prices due to having to sanitize the kayaks/canoes. You can’t reserve online. The lineup for rental was one hour long, and even when you pay, you have to wait another 20min to get a kayak, which eats into the time you have. The people that are taking the kayaks in/out and need to sanitize are understaffed. So it’s a long wait! There is a strong current, but there is enough to kayak/canoe around for 3hours and not become repetitive. You see two big highways though which takes away from the “away from city” feel. The worst part of my experience, is because we waited so long and had our kayaks at end of day, we returned our kayaks 5min before closing and then weren’t allowed to use the bathroom. The manager did not want to let us, even though they close 5min after, and the toilets were not even clean by the cleaning crew yet. That attitude is unacceptable! customers should be able to use the facility for human necessities. I am from montreal, and probably won’t return back there.

We had a blast here. For Covid they have taken extensive precautions. All kayaks are cleaned before renting. Start early or you won't get a boat, especially on a weekend. There's a small island where you can dock and have a picnic! That was the highlight of this trip!!

The museum was nice, especially for my kid. Boat rentals start in June so didn't get to enjoy the river. However if you have your own go ahead have fun.

Great place for nature lovers, great rental service and nice staff. There’s kayak, paddle boards, canoeing and more. The prices are affordable too. There’s tables and benches for families, and there’s a café too! Worth checking out

I love this park any time of year. I was doing a lab adventure for geocaching. In the winter there is cross country skiing, in the summer there is kayaking, hiking, biking, picnic and more. There is even a visitor center.

It's a beautiful place for nature lovers. I went there by my car but is also accessible by bus. If you like nature then highly recommend it. There are several options from kayak to paddle boards and boat for one to use. the water and scene there is amazing! Don’t forget your sun care lotion and bug sprays.

Very nice place to go kayaking and fishing. Saw a bald eagle, heron, lots of ducks and geese, even a raccoon swimming across. Some islands are parks.

The park has some incredible river ways to be explored on a kayak, canoe or paddle board. Many islands and quite a big territory that offers plenty of exploring opportunities for entire hours. Some parts of the river have stronger currents, so be ready to sometimes ramp up your rowing. If you are not that good at rowing bring someone to back you up.

Very clean and well-maintained parc. All staff was very helpful, friendly, and classy. Also made my first kayaking experience reassuringly safe and smooth.

Clean washroom , they have museum 5$+tax They have kayaking $$ But the place for the water is not very good too smally and dirty when you kayaking after 100 meters you will see the good water(starting point is bad ) Very good for kids and family for fun But not allow for BBQ TO make there you have to bring the food from home. They have table chairs nice for parties

*BE CAREFULL* they are thieves that visit de parking lot while you do activities. Love this place, went for skating last Saturday, nice fire with chairs to warm up, easy access. Only thing is the ice is not so nice, a bit bumpy and cracked. Besides the fact that my car got vandalized while I was there, we had a nice visit.

I went there by my car. It is also accessible by bus. The experience for me was awesome. There are several choices from kayak to paddle boards and boat. The current of water os really slow and it makes it like a lake and really enjoying. Don’t forget to bring sun care lotion. I think there is the most close good place for having fun in the water with your kayak or rental one ranging from $30 to $100

We came here for the sunset Kayak and our guides were Alissa and Nathan. We were a couple and the rest of the people were on a company outing. It wasn't marked too well so we walked down and asked and everyone was aware of where to wait so that's nice. You go down by the kayaks and wait at the tables available. It was really beautiful, we got to see a lot of homes of beavers and huge herons. We didn't see the full beavers out of water but they did smack the water as a sign of "stay away" even at 200m away from the beaver dams. Alissa the guide explained to use how they have restored this river to nearly bathable and all the $$ you pay for these activities goes towards preserving this beautiful river. I wish the guides would have said this to everyone first because I love that and will come back because of this. Its very nice at sunset. You don't need any specific gear, we just paid online and came in comfortable clothes. Beautiful river, wildlife, nice guides and well organized and clean. Bonus - your money goes to a good cause!!!!

I took an introductory kayak course this morning. What an amazing team. One of the young ladies Camille went out of her way to help me, she gave me lots and tips and tricks. She was not working today , yet she took the time to help myself and others. She was my personal cheering team, I can't thank her enough. The two guides were also great but I got one and one attention thanks to Camille. Well organized , on time and friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit.
