Always had a great service and quality food in this Eggspectation breakfast 🍳 restaurant. Try their signature “Eggspectation omelette”👌 Portions are good,best breakfast potatoes 🥔 amongst all restaurant and their homemade orange 🍊 juice is to be tried ! Prices are decent, nice vibe never waited more than 10 minutes before getting a table. Restaurant is open concept. Located on the first level of the Rockland shopping mall.No worries about parking. Keep it up guys 👍

Back in the 90s, Eggspectation was the best when it came down to breakfast. But, nowadays it has lost its touch. Eating here is convenient, but nothing more. You could probably concoct a better breakfast at home. Nevertheless, the fresh squeezed orange juice is good.

A brunch spot located inside of Rockland shopping centre. I ordered the Belgian strawberry caramel waffle. The consistency of the waffle was good but overall it was dry as there was little sauce. My partner ordered a standard breakfast and the potatoes are surprisingly good. The server was polite and efficient. There seemed to always be a line since we arrived to when we left but it moved fairly quickly. We were waiting maybe 10 minutes for a table for 2.

This place is amazing the staff is super accommodating (Chris is the best) the food is always great! You probably doubt this being that it’s located in a mall, but it’s actually pretty amazing and never fails to impress us. Be prepared for a line on the weekend.

We come here often as a family/group and the experience is always wonderful. The food is fresh and delicious (you NEED to try the Big Burger!) The service is exceptional - the staff has ALWAYS been so kind to us. The prices are very reasonable given the quality & quantity, and versus the insane mark-ups everywhere else.

Love the friendly staff and the atmosphere. Food was amazing I had the Montreal Benny and my husband had Eggstravaganza but no bacon or ham since we don't eat pork.

Daughter and I visited Montreal for the Michelle Obama book signing event, came out for breakfast on Sunday. Orange juice is outstanding, French toast is delicious, lobster omelet bursting with lobster, pancakes light, and you can tell that the eggs are cage free! Our waitress Jade is so pretty and sweet, providing excellent service

So I’ve been to lots of breakfast/brunch restaurants. In my honest opinion, Eggspectation is more on the average side. Nothing really special or unique. Feels more like a homemade brunch which is not bad but very mediocre . It was also a bit pricey i would say, you can get better food for same prices. The good points were that the staff was very friendly and the place was spacious.

Requiem : The restaurant has closed, which is sad because it was one of the best (and my favourite) restaurants in MTL. Service was very good, food was always satisfactory, and the atmosphere always pleasant. All patrons knew at least one staff person, if not by name then by face. This restaurant has been around for at least 3 decades, and it even survived the pandemic. It was always good to go there because it's familiar. I was introduced to the place by my late grandmother. She and lots of locals used to come here. I began to, too, after moving into the area I'm gonna miss this place.

I tried their crepe with scrambled eggs. It was perfect. Little bit expensive.

The place is closed.. said the store hours has been updated 3 weeks ago. They could atleast have updated their restaurant status accordingly

We are from NYC and were grateful to have the equivalent of a NY/Jersey diner here in Montreal. Hearty breakfasts. Started the day with a full tank. Salmon Benedict well executed. May want to ask to omit the cream cheese. Veggie omelette loaded with really fresh vegetables. Montreal Bagels dense and chewy -- like it! Potato Lyonnaise done to perfection. Service super friendly and efficient. Did not rush us out at all. Free wi-fi.

The pancakes were really dry. And few chocolate chips. The amount of fruits was good. Omelette also dry. Was excepting more for these price. Service was fast and ok.

Quick and nice service, that is always important specially for Sunday brunch. The food is good and there is a lot of choices. The fact the restaurant is inside the mall is nice because is easy to park and for free.

Went here for the first time and was very confusing to find the location, hadn’t bumped into one of the workers then wouldn’t have found it. Service was okay and food was not bad but not the best, only thing that was really good was the watermelon on the plate.

What an amazing restaurant! We always eat at EGGSPECTATIONS when in CANADA. First time eating at this location and it exceeded our Expectations! Located at the mall...definitely coming back...

good foods。but when I pay bill,servicer tell me I must pay 15% tips.no other choices. I ask him why .he said must. Ok you get this time.lost your client forever.

Healy break fast with clean and good service.

Food not so bad. But the workers told me a AFTO give 15% tip. 😅 seeing the supervisor about it I was insulted by the waiter call all types of names. Never again.

The staff (teenagers) started running and throwing food and water at each other in front of the diners. The bar was a mess full of leftovers.. They were playing until a lady member of the staff arrived 20 minutes later. Surreal.
