We’ve been here a bunch of times because we are locals, but the last time we went, the service was really horrible. The waiter refused to make eye contact with me, even though we had finished our drinks for over 10 minutes. I tried to get his attention but he was actively ignoring me. When I went inside, he was just standing in the back talking to people behind the bar. I said “Do I have to pay inside the bar or outside?” He acted as if he couldn’t understand the question and repeated “Pay?!” four times in a row. His tone a demeanour was really off-putting and dismissive. He was rude and unprofessional. When my boyfriend came in to see what was taking so long, the waiter started being charming and joking around with him, but I was pretty upset because of the way he had been treating me. When we left, the waiter made a joke about me to my boyfriend (saying something like, “courage!”) which embarrassed both of us and left me feeling very poorly. I really wish this hadn’t happened because normally this is a nice place to have a drink—but to be treated this way was completely inappropriate.

Cozy belgian bar with a decent selection of Belgian beers. You can also get some delicious savory or sweet crepes.

I visited the pub and really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly, motivated and well organised. We also ordered the famous salty crepes. The food was freshly cooked and tasted very good. Definitely a place where we will return. Highly recommended. If you like my review, the please 'like' it.

For me, one of the perfect bars in Brussels. The owner that knows all if his old clients. The prices are normal. The stuff is very attentive and relaxed. Is a bar where you feel very comfortable and very relaxed. For those who want to go there, you can pay only cash. No cards.

Lovely place and cheap market

Short simple brasserie menu, with the likes of croques monsieur and steak frites, which is well executed. Grimbergen beer is on tap - I like the blonde! Seems to have a loyal, local clientele. It's 5 minutes walk from Metro Madou.

I got a very rude bartender. He pretended not understand English and discussed me with another visitor. Also the coffee was disgusting.

Ah, good old St. Josse! Try the Porto!
