Beautiful decoration but poor service - disrupted many times while eating so the empty dishes can be taken from our table - the wine was old - the starter was good but so disappointed with the main course and dessert. Overall not recommending this place for the price.

We decided to try something different instead of the usual options. That's when we came across Serra, a restaurant situated right below our hotel. It primarily serves vegetarian cuisine and, to our surprise, the food was absolutely delicious! Cleanliness: 5 stars - The restaurant was spotless and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable dining experience. Staff: 5 stars - The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Food: 5 stars - The vegetarian dishes were mouthwatering, with a variety of flavors and textures that left us craving more. It was truly a delightful culinary experience!

Overall, an awful experience. We went in a group for a business lunch, and the "business menu" consisted of a lukewarm soup, 7 gnocchi in a greasy sauce, and added protein was half a sausage in mustard sauce (see the photo of this feast). The quantity was for half a person, and taste was equally bad, and they value this at 37 euros. The service was slow to serve, and slow to clean the tables. No dessert, just coffee from the machine we had to queue for, due to size of our group. They didn't even have sugar by the coffee machine, you had to ask for it at the bar. If you have the chance to avoid this place, please take it. McDonald's is a gastronomic delight compared to this restaurant. One-star review is actually a compliment, since zero-star is not available option.

the bar to the Indigo Hotel. delicious rose wine, reasonably poured. however, prices as in the hotel bar. even if the wine is good - the price-performance ratio is simply not right at this point.

Serra, a long-awaited place to dine in, got ticked off from my to-do sheet, but it was a totally disappointing experience in terms of food quantity and taste. -Location wise, it's in prime spot attracting the corporate, business, and tourist people. Ambience: It's good to visit, a beautiful instagrammable spot, but I couldn't get the chance to click photos much as the place was really crowded to click one with fewer/no people. Food: It's really tasteless and plain with a quantity probably sufficient to feed toddlers. I understand the idea is to have fine dining, but I struggled to understand the flavour or components put together on the plate.

This is definitely NOT a place to go if you are very hungry, specially not for dinner. This is best for people who don't eat much or are just looking for a place to drink and have a munch. The service was also not what I was expecting. We were there as a group and it took more than 30 min for someone to finally come and ask us "how we were doing". It was really strange as the waiter who attended to us felt like he was there more to make friends and do some small talk than taking our orders. When we were finally giving him our orders he was completely lost and then left because he only thought of getting a notepad to write down at that time. There was another person that was supposed to handle our table but she wasn't the nicest as well and we really felt like we were a bother to her. The portions were small and not too generous, but for the appetizer it had a good amount of hummus but not enough crackers so by a couple of bites there were only dip left. When we tried to ask for some more bread, the waiter said they didn't have any and so we asked for some more of those crackers. The waiter came back and gave us 2 pieces of crackers for a full table. We honestly didn't know if they were mocking us or were just really stingy so we didn't eat it. By the time the main meal arrived we were again surprised by the quantity given. Our main dish was actually a side dish and did not go well with the served vegetables. We had carbonnade flamande with some sort of hummus/ mash with corn, boiled radished that smelled fermented but tasted like dirty water and bitter. It also had one tempura like mushroom and some stale had to chew cracker bread. The dessert was ok and I think it was the only thing everyone liked and ate.The offered food are mostly vegetables, but our meals were not coherent . I don't know if the rest of the menu is like this, but I was not too convinced and I prefer eating my vegetables the classic way. They also offer mocktails too if you do not drink alcohol, but be prepared to pay more than 10€ for one. Needless to say we left this place quite hungry...

Food was tasty. Ambiance was nice. Good music. Service was fast and friendly. My personal opinion - price to quantity ratio could have been better. I had the business lunch which was 31EUR including karrage chicken.

I honestly don’t know why the rating is so low. It was so low that I missed it across my hotel and walked miles to find food. Then I returned for dinner later that day. Great place and great food for value!

We were staying at hotel indigo and had both breakfast and dinner here. During dinner we had the cod and trout dishes. Bother we’re phenomenal! Great portions, beautifully plated, very flavorful! The breakfast is buffet with some made to order. The buffet was not huge but everything was cooked beautifully - totally worth it. The staff are so nice/friendly. They were particularly accommodating of my 2yo!

We had dinner last night at Serra as we saw recommendations on Instagram. We were very disappointed though when leaving the restaurant. We were 4 adults sharing the same disappointment. We had risotto, sardines, egg plant with rice and egg parfait and none of the dishes were worth their price. Food was boring and tasteless. Too bad for a night out in Brussels

I love places with greenery, which take you almost immediately to some distant place in the Tropics. Serra is a hotel in the center of Brussels, with a bar and restaurant to pull it off. Quiet environment to have a drink, although if you prefer to be on the terrace, the noise can be overwhelming. I did not see waiter service as such, since there was only one person at the checkout who charged for what was ordered. Beatiful decoration.

I knew the place was going to be expensive but I was expecting the quality to match. We ordered two fresh mint teas for €5.50 each. What we got was cup of warm water with 6-7 mint leaves (not stems) in each. I wish I was exaggerating but the "tea" was completely transparent and tasteless. If not for the price, one could say it was just hot (well warm) water. The only reason it is not a one star review is the atmosphere and the decor.

The cocktails were EXCELLENT ! The barista (Joshua I think) asked us what we liked and accommodated us. And the food… the vegan burgers are to die for while the waiters very friendly. The menu is almost entirely vegetarian. Try it all if you can !

Nice place, but i reccomend to change the menu: option 3 course dinner for 36 euro ( without meat options) and when we wanted to order 3 veggie dish, waiter said no no - it will be too expensive(!) it is 2 veg sides and 1 dessert. ( or I can offer you a hummus as a 3d option ) First, what impression did they give to a customer by this? It has to be written on the menu. So, the customers need to ask a favor from a restaurant if they don't want to eat desserts...

I liked the boutique feel of the place. I had a beer and a quiche for a casual early dinner and enjoyed the comfort of the sofas, the ears bathed by a gentle 80’s playlist at just the right sound volume.

I had the privilege of attending an exclusive Moutai tasting dinner at Serra. It was an exceptional opportunity to delve into the world of China's Moutai liquor and experience its captivating synergy with Western culinary creations. Chef Qi's culinary artistry resulted in an array of exceptional Moutai-infused dishes, showcasing a harmonious blend of Eastern and Western flavors. The dinner was a true culinary and cultural adventure, leaving an indelible mark on my palate and appreciation for the art of gastronomy.

We were pleasantly surprised by the interior when we came in. Unfortunately we were very very disappointed with the menu. “Plant-based” share plates were vegetarian aka NOT plant-based. Our main dish was the “meat” they are so proud of but we were worried the whole time it was going to be baked in butter. Not a good experience when we thought we would be going to a vegan restaurant.

Sunday brunch here is just a show and a perfect excuse to get to know the venue. The theme is floréal, but there's so much more into it: at time vintage, at time steam-punkish 😅. Annexed bar and restaurant seem both worth a midnight cruise (are they open?). Food choice is perhaps a bit limited, but what more you might ever need if your belly and eyes are full?

My friend and I came for a coffee at the Urban picnic at the SERRA Hotel, and we were very disappointed by the attitude of the personnel. Rudely welcomed us, and the first thing she said was that if we wanted to stay for more than 2 hours we had to consume regularly. This policy is understandable, but the way it was said was very rude and unwelcoming.

I love this place, very tropical and spacious interior design. Also, delicious meals and good staff. The only suggestion I could give is to maybe decrease a little air humidity, other than that - perfect 🌟

Great last minute find attached to our hotel. The menu is a little small but have faith as the menu is so well prepared! The codfish mussels curry was great and light.

The resto & bar decoration is very colorful and it brings the special sense of nature. Lots of plants very well integrated in the inner green space make you feel being part of a kind of internal garden. I cant talk about the food but the coffee is great in the restorant part. My favorite part is the expo side wall were you can see very artistic photos taken in different world corners. Very recommended even for a coffee sip and a short walk in the many rainy days in Brussels.

I've been folllowing Serra for a long time on Instagram and was really looking forward eating there for quite some time now. We went to dinner last night with a group of friends. I normally never write a review on a restaurant but we were so dissapointed that i feel the need to "warn" other people. The location and interior are absolutely stunning! However... we all left hungry.. the main courses, especially the dish with fish and artichoque were so small they felt like starters.. for 23euro you receive a small piece of fish,2(?!) mussels and a small bowl of dhal which was not even filled half. My dish had 2 small artichoque hearts, half a red beet and half a white beet with pesto.. i literally finished the plate in 3 minutes... the pizza and burger portion were normal size but very blend in flavour. When we complained about the dishes the waitress told us the big table next to us complained as well.. she then told us the dish prices are really expensive because you pay for the interior and the location (something on being in the europian heart of Brussels where people will pay more at a restaurant) really?!? Additionally, the charged us 23euro more in alcoholic drinks which we never ordered. Luckily we spotted the error before we actually paid the bill. What a way to let your customers feel completely ripped off.. dont be fooled by the charming interior people.. maybe if you go for a drink in the cafe it is oke but i would not recommend the restaurant Garden Kitchen at all since we left hungry and dissapointed.

1 star for the decorations 2 stars for the concept 3 stars for the kind lady at the counter Would give 4 stars if the food had taste. It was dry and tasteless (we took a quinoa and giant couscous salads) Would give 5 stars if the prices were more friendly.
