Had one of best the experiences here at Heyagriva. The host, Paulzor is one of the best in this business. Business sounds less authentic. Because we felt like we are in a place where we are happy, relaxed and comfortable as in one's own home. No wonder I'll chose this place when I'm here again. Food: 10/10 Rooms: 20/10 Host: β™Ύ/10 They have 5 wonderful pets. I am pretty sure you will end up spending most of your time with them if you are a dog lover. We hardly got to spend an hour with Palzor but he shared so many stories and his experiences which added another star to this stay. He will also guide you to authentic places to have food which are far better than regular places which "tourists" are aware of. Ending this review on this note that if you are ever here in Darjeeling do spend your time in Heyagriva. Best wishes Paulzor. ❀

It was indeed a great experience, too much happy with the service. The owner was very helpful polite and cooperative. Lively environment, a home far away from home. Internet service was excellent. The food is clean and top-notch quality. And the view was 180 degrees, a relaxing quiet environment. If you want to relax, this is the place to stay

Lovely experience at Heyagriva. From the beginning to the end, our hosts made sure we are comfortable in every way possible. The rooms are cosy and comfortable, and the food is great as well. Plus if you're a dog person, there's MANY of them to keep you company. Amazing experience that you'd easily come back for.

This was first time staying in this homestay it was totally worth it. The view was great from the room and the open terrace. Paulzor bhai and his family was too welcoming and their hospitality made us feel like home. The food was great and was served with so much of warmth from them. The rooms were great, specially the apartment with its spacious and well decorated living area. The best thing about the homestay were the three dogs Braddy, Brownie and Candy. Will definitely recommend this homestay who wants a quiet stay away from all the hustle and with a great view. As a suggestion for people booking this homestay, it would be better to get in touch with Paulzor before reaching NJP or Bagdogra to arrange for the cab for the journey to Darjeeling. One more inportant thing to note is that people with problem walking or leg pain or aged people might find it difficult to go up the stairs in the homestay as those are steep and they might find it difficult. Also the way to reach to Mall is by mainly by walking, as it might be difficult to find any transportation from the homestay to the mall only, which is about 1km. So again people with problem walking might need to consider.

This place has my heart. If I visit Darjeeling again and have a chance to stay here this place will be my first priority. The giant balcony cum roof is the best place. The room is neat and clean, so relaxing. I was there for 4 days for workation. I had such a good time. The atmosphere is outstanding to work with good internet connectivity all along. Sunrise and moon rise is a added benefit. And, how can I forget food here. Aunty used to prepare us so delicious dishes. Homemade dishes kept us. Breakfast was amazing.

Our stay was delightful! We really felt at home. The food was delicious and diverse. We liked so much that we came back from the city to have dinner every single day. Paulzor is a fantastic host with a great deal of stories from his mountaineering adventures. Also he helped us with everything we needed. The location is excellent, sufficiently away from the buzz of the city but just 10 minutes walk to the center. The views are gorgeous

One of the best homestays that one can wish for. Though a bit far from the Darjeeling Mall (about a kilometre), it compensates with the excellent panaromic view one can get from the homestay terrace. No need to go to Tiger Hill for witnessing sunrise or Kangchenjunga. The deluxe rooms on the terrace has the best views. Rooms have all the amenities required. Also the host, Mr. Paulzor is a gem of a person. He and his family had made sure we had the most comfortable stay.

The overall stay was awesome. The view from terrace, the food and most importantly the hosts - incredible. Our host paulzor was very welcoming and made us feel like family, pampering us with local delicacies. None the less, their dogs- adorable. Words are falling short to elucidate the whole experience at Heyagriva. Can't wait to visit this place again soon.

Anything said would be way less to show how excellent this place is. We went as a couple and this has been the best trip we have taken so far to darjeeling. This whole property feels like "Home" only because of their amazing host Paulzor. He's such an exceptional host and Human being, he wouldn't let you feel down even for a second. The rooms, view, food, services, breakfast everything was outstanding. It's just walking distance from mall road yet quite aloof from the whole city's hustle bustle. If you're someone who enjoys experiencing the local culture and people around, this is the best option. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you for hosting us

This is literally the best property in Darjeeling. The hosts Paulzor and Douna are amazing people and they will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. You'll feel you're at home! The rooms are comfortable and clean and the food here is absolutely excellent. Another very important thing is that they have the best wifi connection in Darjeeling which makes it a perfect place for a workation. I stayed here for a week and worked without any problems. The property is located at a 10-15 min walking distance from Mall Road and has beautiful views. I would 10/10 recommend everyone to come here and enjoy the best stay ever!

The most cherishable part of our last trip to Darjeeling is definitely our homestay Heyagriva. The location is perfect for people who likes to stay away from hustle bustle, just 10-15 mins walk from Mall in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are cozy with an ethnic Tibetan style with stories to explore. The best part was the terrace in front of the rooms where you can spend hours with tea glazing at the hills and sky overlooking the city. Host Paulzor and his family made our stay super comfortable with their hospitality & behavior and went beyond to help us even after leaving his place. We will cherish the experience and this place will be our no. 1 priority when we will plan our next trip to Darjeeling. Also to mention they have 3 adorable, super friendly and trained pet dogs and you may play with them all day long and they will surely uplift your mood.

Heyagriva is one of the best homestay I have ever been to. The host is amazing and very helpful. The rooms are fantastic. The only issue was 1km walk from mall road during night. Otherwise it's a perfect place to stay while in Darjeeling.

This is our first time at Darjeeling. And we are overwhelmed with the mesmerizing view and Paulzor the wonderful host anyone can ever thought of. Everything was so well arranged, that you would never miss your home. The breakfast, Dinner was awesome. We stayed at Heyagriva for 3 nights, and it was a brilliant experience for us. Paulzor helped us with some great recommendations of few must visit places, incl. restaurants. Would love to go back again and stay at Heyagriva!

I would highly recommend Heyagriva for your visit to Darjeeling. Take a break from the immensely crowded Chowrasta area of Darjeeling and spend a few days here. Moreover, if you're planning to work from the mountains, there's probably not a lot of places better than this. Its been a terrific experience for us. The mountains surely make everything beautiful but it is hospitality like this which makes the experience a whole lot. Kudos to Paulzor and family.

A Home Away from Home. Nestled near the bustling Darjeeling Mall, I recently discovered a gem: a creatively furnished boutique apartment transformed into a delightful homestay. From the moment I stepped in, I knew this wasn't just any accommodation; it was a haven of warmth, charm, and breathtaking beauty. The owner, a well-mannered and affable individual, exuded genuine hospitality. Their presence felt more like a friendly neighbor than a proprietor, instantly putting me at ease. This "home away from home" feeling extended to the dΓ©cor, where every corner reflected a touch of artistic whimsy. But the true magic unfolded when I ascended to the rooftop. Words cannot do justice to the panoramic vista that awaited. Snow-capped peaks of the majestic Kanchenjunga, stretched out before me in a watercolor of blues and whites. Sipping morning tea in the warm sunshine amidst this panoramic splendor was an experience I won't soon forget.

it was indeed an awesome place to stay in Heyagriva. The rooms and the service were too good. It is a very hygienic place to stay. You dont have to visit Tiger hill. But you can see the sunrise and Kanchenjunga right from your room which will save 2k from your pocket. Mall road is just 10 min walking from the place. A very peaceful place for a vacation and workcation. The food is also very hygienic. The host will make you feel comfortable with everything you need to have your trip a memorable place. I would personally recommend everyone to visit there. And I would personally stay again, if I plan to visit Darjeeling.. Last but not the least, thanks to the entire Team for making our stay a successful one.

It was a great stay. I had planned for a night only as this was my 5th time in Darjeeling but I would say that I had planned 'too less' time for staying in such a good place & to spend time with a knowledgeable person like Mr. Paul. The stay was definitely homely. Anyone planning to be away from the main crowd of the main Darjeeling can choose to stay here as it has a good view as well.

We stayed in the 3bhk apartment at Heyagriva and it was an amazing experience. The view was serene and the host Mr.Paulzor took really good care of us, and shared a lot of details of the history of the place which was very interesting. Food was also very good and they took care of our dog as well, when we used to go out in the evening. The cook Karoj also helped in getting anything that i needed and never said no. Would love to visit this place again. Highly recommended. πŸ‘

We had an amazing time at Heyagriva from December 22nd to 25th, 2023! Paulzor, his wife, and their amazing team - Nemma Dorje, and Arpan Kumar were the warmest hosts we could have asked for! Paulzor's knowledge about Darjeeling's history was mind-blowing, and he made us feel like part of the family. The house, Heyagriva, was spotless and cozy. The terrace view of Darjeeling, especially Kanchenjunga, was perfect for making unforgettable memories. The food they served - Pork curry, Nepali Thali, Thukpa, Kothey momos and more was absolutely delicious! Paulzor and the team arranged a lovely surprise bachelor party and a cozy bonfire for our friend on our request. They really went above and beyond. Thanks to Paulzor for the care and warmth. Highly recommend this place for an authentic and heartwarming experience in Darjeeling.

We had an amazing stay at Heyagriva. The rooms were not misleading, they were as shown in the picture. One can also witness a beautiful sunrise from the open terrace when the sky is clear and we were lucky enough to have witnessed that 'magical moment' on the day of our check out. This was our first stay at a Homestay and it really felt like home. Thank you Paulzor and also we are really thankful to bro Tenzing for taking good care of us.
