Very poor service, their waiter stolen my mom wrist watch value of 6000 ,we clearly know they only taken, we talked with general Manger but response from him was totally in spite of many requests zero efforts to trace it out. . So plz avoided going there ,they know how cheat customer ,to keep their business on.even though I told them I won't complaint , then also no response. The watch was my dad last gift to her.

I had a very bitter experience at Hotel Salem Castle during 2-3 Oct 2022, when I have stayed here. The problem started when I have entered into the Hotel itself. After the verification of my proof of identity, the receptionist asked us to go to Room No:803 at 8th floor. The lift was not operational which I was never anticipated. After the wait of 20 minutes, the lift was switched on. While sleeping , I got some unpleasant situation around 1.15 AM. The room was over 30 Deg C due to switching off the centralized AC by the hotel. When I made a call to the reception, no body was lifting the phone. Then I came down to the reception , where no body was available. The whole night we have lived with Fan alone. Morning , there was no hot water available in the bath room. As we have already paid in our package, we have gone to the restaurant to take the Breakfast. It was really horrible break fast at Salem. I made a complaint to the In-charge of the Hotel and we left to Chennai. I Strongly recommend the visitors not to get cheated like this at Hotel Salem Castle . It is no way three star hotel ....... It is not even equal to an oridinary lodge....

Rooms are not worth for the tariff we are giving. Providing very nice complimentary breakfast.

I don’t recommend this hotel here the person called Chandru so called as front desk manager behaves so rude don’t even know how to behave with guests arriving at there property with agoda booking this hotel as anytime issues with agoda booking customers so pls dont choose this hotel in case u need to stay happy an sleep peacefully

We booked through Agoda & the hotel declined the prices offered by agoda or any booking platforms. High priced for the quality. It’s not even 2 star quality No warm water or tea making facility. Their room service & breakfast restaurant starts very late . Not good for travellers . Had to forgo the breakfast & they didn’t even reduce charges. Lost money & time. Will never return here .

This hotel is not worth the price they are charging for. Experienced Poor service. I have stayed 2 times in that hotel but there's no hot water supply both times. I have contacted the receptionist several times but no proper response. And they are not clear with their hotel policies. There are no indications while booking the room for a couple but after reaching there they are asking to do an early checkout. Receptionist seems rude while asking me to checkout early.

Yesterday Iam staying this hotel. Am very happy to stay is there. Before I don't No, but now renovation completed, after renovation room are good, Front Office staff is Very Good to respected guest.

About 2 kms from Salem Highway at 4 roads is Salem Castle this iconic Old landmark is now Spic and Span .Renovated ,with sumptuous kitchen ,Celebrity Bistro Bar with 65" TVs ,private cabins ,chilling cold Aircons , lip smacking meals, DJ, Dance floor , smoke throwers ,laser lights ,high end Audio equipment is top notch wine and Dine .Its under rated will soon overtake big names in industry.

Celebrity pub ,Food menu is ultimate and top notch, unmatched in Salem. Moment you enter the ambience makes us forget we are in Salem .Spacious private dining cabins with 65" TVs and couches That make you pampered .One should check this place while driving between coimbatore -Bangalore off the highway some 2kms into the city.

Bitter experience, lot of communication gap among the staff members. Most of the staff members are trainees they were not much aware about amenities. Even the restaurant is too smelly although they are offering 20% discounts for guests. The rooms are simply remodeled and covered with lights. AC unable to operate, buffet menu's are improperly arranged staffs are not responded properly.... Overall had a worst experience.......

Unable bolt the Washroom door. Room and Washroom are not properly cleaned. Most importantly Visitor is not allowed to see you in the room. Receptionist was rude and did not allow one of our friend who had come to meet us, we told the hotel management clearly that the guest has come to see us, not going to stay with us. One good thing is spacious parking..

The worst experience. Price is too heavily charged. Not good decisions by management. They won't consider your request. If any one is going to check in this hotel, kindly first know the hidden rules of this hotel.

Pros Near to Salem Bus stand and Salem Junction. Cons One of the overrated rooms in the locality. The rooms are waterlogged, the bathroom has huge cracks.

Excellent hotel clean , good food , big parking area , nice service 24hrs Only issue was hot geyser water was not provided at 2am ..... staff helped to get hot water bucket instead

The stay at Hotel Salem Castle was really comfortable. I booked 2 rooms and both were really spacious and extremely clean. Balcony was available with a fantastic view of the city and the hills. Very spacious car parking. Restaurant was very spacious, neat and really tasty food. Staff starting from the reception, room service boys and the staff at the restaurant were really well mannered and professional. My family is extremely happy about the stay at this hotel. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again when we come to Salem. Totally worth the price we paid.

Highly dissatisfied with the recent check-in process. It’s a disheartening experience. I have booked the suit room via their hotel website and the payment also made. Upon arrival, the hotel staff has said no room are available even though i have showed the confirmation booking and the itenary details. Initially the staff was rude and simply feedback that booking system is outsourced to the third party and few dramas for about more than a hour. Finally managed to get the delux room after get my lawyer to discuss and the only good thing was prompt refund of remaining money on the same day. Suggest all not to trust their online booking

I stayed at this hotel 2months ago, it was very pleasant and peaceful experience. It was very warmth welcome by the reception. They are very friendly and nice to communicate and also have humble attitude.

Hotel is located near salem bus stand. Big car parking is available. Rooms are clean n neat.

I booked a room through Agoda apk. But the hotel is not accepting online booking and they cancelled my booking. I got that information after reaching the hotel. I booked the room through the hotel reception. Room quality is very average. Considering their room charges their facilities are very low. Wifi is also not even connecting. I called their support team so many times. But they said we will rectify this issue. But nothing happened. Morning breakfast very avg. They don't have buffet breakfast. Their breakfast is not even matching with the 1star hotel. Their waiters are not ready to provide available breakfast menu details. We have to ask everything that we need. I stayed at different 3 star hotels in Salem. But this hotel is not worth what I paid.

One of the best stay in recent times. We searched for almost 8 hotels in and around Salem, Everything was perfect, ambience ,food and breakfast spread were outstanding. Thanks to the best staffs.

Very very bad....and not given our balance amount after vacating room No hot water, room service telephone is not working very poor AC no cooling and complimentary breakfast not even for 50rupees and they charged rupees 170 for extra person The only this there was car parking was good My request is not to go Salem castle even if you sleep in bus stand or railway station

I booked Hotel 10 rooms and paid advance 15000 (for stay on 9062022) and later wanted to cancel on 17052022 . I approached Reception for complete return whereas I was given only 7500rs. I was cancelling 21 days in advance but the lady in Reception was not willing to pay. Big Cheating Hotel
