This is a very cool little park with unique play equipment that is tailored for all abilities. It has a neat water feature for summer play and the ground is soft and bouncy to reduce injury from falls. It’s also just fun to walk on. There are lots of things to climb on. Just a word of advice, make sure the little ones go to the restroom before you go as there are no bathrooms. It’s also located on a busy road but it is gated. Just watch your kids extra close. There’s another park, Bush Pasture Park across the street that has restrooms if needed. This is definitely a park to take your kids to if they’re getting bored with the same old play equipment.

This is a great little park right off Mission. It is also very close proximity to Bush Pasture Park, so if you and your kids tire of the offerings on this playground, you can walk across the street and get more play time in. The water features here are a lot of fun during the summer. On our last visit, we found this little note addressed to someone named Alexis. I hope she sees this!

Hands down BEST PARK FOR CHILDREN in salem!!! I tried to get pictures of all the different play stations they have but there were a few I missed! It's simply amazing to keep them excited and active! And if you have clumsy littles like I do then the best part is the entire play ground is foam/rubber padded floor!?!? FANTASTIC!

Very nice outdoor. park adjacent to the hospital. Many unique things for kids to play on, and very very soft floor on the entire park. One small covered area with the ONLY table of which half is for wheelchairs. That’s fine, but more tables under cover or not would have earned the park 5 stars from me. 😁

I love being a dad. I scored major dad points here. Plus the ground reminds me of when I was back on the moon.

This park has a unique feel and is a frequent stop in the area. Metal slides on a little turf covered knoll are a particular favorite of my family. The variety of play equipment is nice and structures are strong enough to support adult participation. I am unaware of a bathroom in the general vicinity, which is a real downside, but we just go with that in mind and plan accordingly.

Overall a pretty nice place for children ages 11 and under to play. It’s close to the library and downtown Salem. My son really likes coming here as there are several types of different park play equipment, and it seems to be cleaned often. Today we went with our toddler son and two young high school girls were there with the clear intent to pick up drugs, as the loud, obnoxious phone call they were having gave clear indication as to what they were doing, so hopefully this is an incident that isn’t something that occurs regularly here as my family and I have only been to this park twice. Will keep coming back because maybe the events that transpired during our second visit are not a regular occurrence, but if this is a place that high schoolers will go to for drug transactions then I urge a word of caution to parents visiting during morning hours.

Theres indoor facilities near by. The ground is soft and squishy for safety only problem is they need more picnic tables under the covered area. No small parts or sharp edges. Gated in for safety.

We love this little park! It has really cool play structures and some play equipment I haven't seen in Salem. A really cool plastic merry-go-round, cool swings, little spinner bowl type things you can sit it and spin. A interactive water area. Just a really cool place to stop if you ate looking for something a little new and different. It is right across the street from Bush park too.

Went here with my CASA kids and their foster mom. Great activities available for a wide age and ability range. Flooring is soft, there is a musical area, climbing toys, and swings especially for special physical needs. There is a water feature lived by ask the kids regardless of age or ability. There are benches. It is a very relaxing area with parking near to building M at the hospital.

Medium size park next to rehabilitation center. There are no bathrooms. The area close to the avenue it is protected with a fence, however it is not fully fenced. There is an area to play with water but it is not functional. There is also 1 bench.

My daughter just recently discovered this park and had a blast socializing with other kids and twirling on the big plastic merry go round.

Such a great park to enjoy all together. Something for kids at every stage. Water to play in the summer time and lots of room for everyone to run around.

Cute well maintained park. A very safe area with lots of places to sit and watch or play along with your little one. Lots of equipment has adult and child items. Or workout equipment off to the side that you can use while your kids play. :)

Underwhelming experience at this park. Swing buckles were broken and the aluminum slides were baking in the sun. Very small and didn’t live up to it’s name. I would not recommend taking your kids here.

Only giving a 3 as we came here for the water functions. It's 11pm and over 80 out and the water is non working. Also not having bathrooms is rather annoying and inconvenient to say the least.

Great Park but only problem is older High School Middle School students like to go there and cuss a bunch and play on the equipment and not let the little kids like my six-year-old in my 10 month baby play that's the only problem I have with this park.

I enjoy the cushy, springy, foamy ground that makes you feel like a kid again.

A lovely accessible park with specialized equipment for alter abled kids! This park was built on the former location of Howard hall at the Oregon school for the blind. Historic sign markers in English and braille explain the history of the area and the progression of assistance technologies for the blind. Overall if you live in or are visiting the Salem area and have children this is a must stop park.

Awesome playground. Baby swings. Swings. Slides. Lots to climb! Watch your children at all times; there’s a lot of cars near this playground. No bathrooms.

This park has one of the best playgrounds in town by far. All the equipment is very new and even inclusive for special needs children. The flooring of the playground is a really nice bouncy material instead of the normal barkdust, and it's dog friendly as well. My nephews could spend all day here. The neighborhood it's in is really beautiful also, I would recommend to anybody with kids to entertain.
