Worst hospital room I have every seen in my life. Full of cockroach and not cleanly maintained toilet. We took single room costing 3800 per day, if single room itself this condition, I cant image shared room and general ward. In addition, my kid went through circumcision surgery in afternoon and it got complicated in night. Doctor came immediately but there is not support from admin to arrange operation theater. Doctor had no choice other than to do the stitches in the room with local anesthesia. Kid suffered a lot. It was inhuman handling of a 5 yrs old kid. Problem is with the management. They look at this hospital as a place where multiple doctors use it for surgery and other facilities, not as a place where Patient needs treatment. Patient and attenders need to literally cry multiple times for basis facility like water and house keeping. Doctors abd nurses does nit have proper communication. This is pure management issue. Any instructions given is not properly documented. They miss few instructions and all issues had to pile up on the Patient only. Discharge summary does not have any details about the complication happened. They just don't want to document any issues. They don't worry about the Patient need to have the history of surgery. Just working for their hospital name. I strictly will not suggest this hospital for anyone and would suggest to avoid this hospital too. I have posted my feedback to hospital. But getting this form itself took 25 mins for the reception team. In this stage i dont think my feedback would be reaching thr right person. So only posting this in forum.

This hospital is very beautiful and good, it has adequate facilities available for the patients. once i went to this hospital for treatment, i saw that all the members of this hospital i.e. doctors and nurses take care of the patients very passionately and very beautifully. this hospital is really very good.

Mr. Kumar and Mr. KMS are few among the finest doctors in India.. started with my fathers knee placement journey with KMS sir and it’s such a wonderful journey.. very friendly and very nice treatment.. without his help we wouldn’t have come out of those tough times.. from the day 1 my kids were born , Kumar sir is the only hope for us..any issues for kids we are feel free to contact any time and he never restrict himself from doing that and a wonderful human beings . My father is admitted in SIMS chellam hospital this week for the treatment of brain stroke and severe cough. Doctors and staffs took exceptional care during our treatment. Dr. Balamurugan Neurologist (NIMHANS) treated my father very well and very next day my father could able to walk without any support after major brain stroke. I have never seen such a talented doctor like Balamurugan and he is the best Neuro doctor in Salem. Dr. Ram Pulmonalogist treated my father for severe cough and my father recovered quickly from cough too. . All the hospital staffs are very friendly. Overall my experience with SIMS chellam is very good and I would strongly recommend SIMS chellam hospital for your loved ones treatment.

(Surprised by the ratings.) I was suggested by my family Dr to this hospital in 2020. I was affected by TB that time. The worst part of my treatment is that, the Dr. didn't reveal what had happened to me exactly. I took x-rays daily as per their instruction, which is totally waste of money. Even at the time of discharge, the Dr said that, we can't find anything in sputum culture, which is a blatant lie. Just a chest scan is enough to diagnose TB (with my symptoms). With my family Drs immediate guidance I approached the Government facility for my TB treatment. Left this hospital with a goodbye. In most cases, Drs from towns surrounding Salem, suggest you to this hospital. If you are going to take treatment here, be aware what actually the condition is. Don't trap for their words. Ask the Dr what is the problem and ask them to explain. These review is based on my experience in 2020, and I'm not sure how the hospital functions now. Friendly and caring nurses which is the only positive one for me.

I had lot of pain in my neck back side. I meet Dr.Prem Prakash(Neuro Surgeon) at SIMS Chellum Hospital,he explained that I have Bilateral Hand and Neck Numbness and advised me to do a surgery called C1,C2&C6 Laminectomy. Admitted in this hospital for IVH. Dr Balamurugan sir taken very good care while investigating and found the actual injury and problems then recommended the suitable treatment. While in the recovery period Dr Prem Prasath sir helped us to be calm with believe. Such a faithful explanation and prescriptions. Emergency ward has all facility and good care. Atmosphere and environment is beautiful. All other nurse and doctors behaving friendly. Doctors should explain the problem with more words and in the ward nurse need to explain the medicine schedule and properly follow it. Insect problem are there in rooms. As usual like most other hospitals janitors dose not works diligently. If these problems gets rectified then the hospital will get the 5stars easily because all other service and amenities are really worth.
