Noted
the
below
comments
and
having
checked
the
Food
Standards
Agency
rating
as
a
2,
I
knocked
off
a
star
accordingly.
So
4
stars
-
yes
the
food
is
that
good.
In
a
party
made
up
of
diverse
backgrounds,
ethnicities
and
people
from
opposite
ends
of
the
country;
the
concensus
was
that
this
was
hands
down
the
best
Indian
meal
people
had
ever
experienced.
Certainly
my
main,
a
Rogan
Josh
(mildly
spiced
by
request)
the
best
I
had
ever
tasted.
Starters
came
and
immediately
the
size
of
the
onion
bhajis
drew
gasps.
Given
the
price
was
so
reasonable
and
I
was
starving
I'd
gone
for
something
a
bit
more
substantial
worried
onion
bhajis
wouldn't
be
enough.
I
needn't
have
worried.
The
things
are
huge
and
delicately
made.
Probably
the
best
in
the
UK.
Others
had
a
mixed
grill
affair,
cake
in
a
sizzling
plate,
served
with
salad.
Impressive,
cooked
perfectly,
flavours
incredible.
Mains
were
equally
impressive,
one
member
went
for
the
vindaloo
and
was
sweating
by
the
end,
but
meat
was
so
tender,
expertly
prepared
in
a
lavish
sauce.
The
same
could
be
said
of
the
other
curries
on
the
table.
Rice
dishes
and
naan
breads
all
present
and
correct.
No
complaints.
A
note
on
the
staff,
very
friendly,
very
efficient
and
very
helpful.
Our
server
(forgot
name)
was
making
jokes
of
an
appropriate
nature,
and
the
impression
given
was
that
nothing
was
too
much
trouble.
All
in,
a
2
star
hygiene
rating
would
probably
motivate
the
staff
to
improve
things,
after
all
you
can't
have
so
much
pride
in
your
food
to
be
so
well
recognised,
without
having
the
wherewithal
and
determination
to
put
things
right.
Absolutely
outstanding
food
and
even
though
Indian
cuisine
is
not
my
favourite,
I'd
have
no
hesitation
in
returning
here
nor
recommending
it.
