The room was great but we had an awful experience in the morning. At 8:50am housekeeping began knocking on our door. Despite yelling “No” and “Go away” multiple times, a housekeeper actually opened our door and entered our room. It was super embarrassing and maddening. Not only do I absolutely hate it when housekeeping knocks on your door before the posted check out times (what are we actually paying for if you don’t follow your own rules) but they didn’t provide a do not disturb sign or an internal lock. I explained how unhappy we were to the front desk attendant and he just said sorry. I have never actually had hotel staff come into my room when we were still sleeping in bed before. Completely unacceptable. Then they had the gall to knock on our door AGAIN at 9:50am, still 10 minutes before check out. If you can’t follow your own hotel rules and let your guest enjoy their stay until the posted check out time, why even have a check out time? Completely irritated and will not stay again.

Older but well maintained property. Check in was fast and efficient. Our room was clean and huge! Bed was firm and sheets and towels were high quality. We had a broken chair in the room, but staff removed it quickly after they were informed. Overall, I was very impressed with everything during our visit from the quiet surroundings to the substantial continental breakfast. Very nice property and we will visit again. Thank you to the excellent staff.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Salida. The hosts are accommodating and professional. Rooms are very clean with comfortable beds and bedding. Reasonable prices. I would stay again

Great hotel! We rented the queen suite. Very spacious and the living room allowed us space for all our snow gear. Great continental breakfast included. Was able to communicate via text with the main office- which was great as we were arriving late, departing early, and had questions about the storms that were projected. Can’t beat the price too!

Nicer than expected! The staff was super friendly, they accommodated our dog, and the room was extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Sooo we stayed in a hotel in Pinedale Wyoming last night paid 2 X what we paid here, while not new and flashy, that said very clean, very welcoming, I recently had knee surgery they very graciously moved me downstairs.

Amazing little place. We stayed in one of the cabins with a fireplace. It was very clean and warmed up really well in the cold weather. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. For being right off the road there wasn't too much road noise the several times I let the dog out. Could have been because of the snow storm too though. Overall highly recommended

Love this hotel! There are so many options for rooms if you just want a regular room for the night or a suite if you're staying a weekend or even a cottage that's away from the rooms they're all so nice and very comfy! Also big plus so affordable

It's ok, but not super clean. It's an older place, but felt very comfy, like I was in my living room. The walls are very thin, could hear the neighbors, havent encountered that for a long time, but maybe because it's an old building. Also the pillows were very lumpy! The breakfast was very limited!! Also the yogurt was outdated by 3 weeks!! It was a great price rate, but I wouldn't stay here again.

The Salida Inn was so cute and perfect for our weekend getaway! The hotel was clean, redone and had all the basic features. My husband I both enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone looking for an affordable hotel with so many food and entertainment options just down the road.

Stayed in two different rooms. One was very nice, the other not as much. Part of this is I'm a light sleeper. Being on the first floor was not good. Staff were incredibly friendly which was very nice.
