I was debating if I should go to Ihop or Perkins and thought I’d give Perkins a try. Was I wrong. They do have a number of good reviews but I’m not sure why. I got a skillet and buttermilk pancakes. The skillet had a strange smell and wasn’t good at all. The pancakes were exactly like the ones you buy at a local grocery store. Small and flavorless. The servers are slow. I had to wait about 15 minutes to have my order taken and when I was finished I had to wait about 15 minutes to get my bill.

Restaurant was clean. Server CONNIE was friendly & helpful. Food was Hot & Fast!

To be honest, I thought this was a restaurant for an older crowd with small portions. I was wrong. Great menu, good portions, and clean and friendly staff. I enjoy eating here Can't wait to try deserts. Look amazing.

Every worker we encountered in this restaurant greeted us with a smile and a helpful attitude. Our server (super sweet young lady with a bright smile and long black hair) was super! One of the best we’ve ever had!

This has been of my favorite restaurants for breakfast here in Salina, the food has always been good. The restaurant is usually busy on Sunday mornings/noon and usually they'll tell you how long the waiting time is however today I got really disappointed on the service we got. We got there and it didn't take too long until they sit us down however we waited a long time for the waitress to even come and ask what we wanted to drink ( it was only me and my fiancée) we ordered our food and waited more than 50 minutes until our food finally arrived in the meantime the waitress never showed up to check on us or to let us know why it was taking so long which the part that bothered us the most because is not courteous and is inconsiderate. And so my fiancée called our waitress to let her know the way we were feeling and that we were leaving because it was taking so long and another group of two that got there after we did got their food before us and basically she said that the cook was in training... she didn't care much she said our food was coming next so we decided to wait a bit more, then I got the wrong food. Which it's okay I usually don't mind that...I got what I ordered in a few minutes the food was good but she never showed afterwards. We told the lady upfront about our experience but didn't seem to care at all really. We got charged regular price like nothing happened. I would not go back after this experience. I don't support a restaurant where they don't care about their customers experience.

The manager is always working due to the staff not showing up. She is usually the only manager/server/hostess and cashier there but she smiles and is always friendly. She takes ownership and really presents a positive work ethic.

The food was great!! The waitress Sara was good and Pepper was a great to stop and make sure everything was to our liking. The waitress Sara was coming back after we were done and asked if we would like anything else and we said yes a hole heath pie. We appreciated all the smiles and friendliness of Sara and Pepper making us feel like we were the only customers and they were very busy so that made it even more special. We give them 👍👍👍up.

Food is ok, more choices and better quality than a Denny's. Very clean and fairly busy for off hour weekday breakfast. Service quick and very pleasant. Coffee comes in a insulated carafe- above average (not burnt or stale). As an aside, I've been in Oklahoma/Kansas for a couple of days and the people I've met are all enthusiastically friendly, almost to a fault. Sometimes I smile, until I remember where I come from. Lots of family, and good pie selection.

Good food and atmosphere! Never been disappointed! Bathrooms could be kept up a little better than they are though!

Third time is the charm. Won't be back. Three times I have gone to eat and got lousy service this time I never got seated. Place was not busy and was never addressed with a we will see you shortly or any acknowledgment three times after no service I won't be back.

The waitress was wonderful and I truly know she wrote down my order but my order did not come out with the rest of my family's order. I didn't get my food until after everyone else was done with their food. My food was actually really good and I ordered the big country skillet.

I had been avoiding Salina Perkins for a long time because you could not get seated in a timely manor , and it took forever to get waited on and to get your food. That changed today. We were seated immediately, waited on quickly, and received our food very quickly and it was delicious. My wife and I will be regular customers from here on out. Thanks Perkins.

The service was very good, the food ok. We thought the prices were some what high. We could have eaten at I-HOP cheaper.

Place was clean, our waitress was good. She made sure all her tables were satisfied and didn't hover to much. Food was good!

Ordered country fried steak and eggs the gravy was very sweet ( which some people might like I guess) and my bother in laws eggs had a hair in them we asked for another plate and it had hair in them again which he just didn’t eat the eggs this time but the waitress was pretty rude did not smile and and only asked for our order. We waited for a while to get a to go box. I prefer I hop honestly they are very nice and I’ve never had a problem with stuff in food

My husband and I enjoy going here on Saturdays for breakfast. It's usually not too busy. The staff are usually pretty friendly and provide good service. Prices are pretty good too!

I tried this Perkins when it first opened and was really good. Went back a couple years later and it was terrible. Lucky we had a nice sever. The food was a disaster. We came in an hour before close and I think the cook must have already clocked out mentally. Gravy was water for the fried steak and skillet my mom asked if they could make her some that’s not like water and our sever asked the cook and the answer was no that’s how all the gravy is tonight, poached egg was fried over hard and peppers burnt for Benedict. I asked my 4 year old if she was going to eat her scrambled eggs because they are her favorite and she picked up a thin rubbery strip of eggs and said no! They’re yucky here! We all laughed but she was serious. Everything was not good we were so hungry and we’re waiting so long we ate it but would have maybe left a better review if someone tried to make it right. Lucky I ordered a whole pie for everyone to share it was the only thing that was good because it wasn’t made in house! Haha

So awesome! Katie did such a great job! We may have not been able to get the Salmon but the Avocado Holiday sauced Eggs (Sorry I forgot the actual name) was absolutely great for the alternative. The Turkey Bacon Club Was so good with a salad. Then the Free Pie Monday was so great! Great memories were made here as well. Thank you so much.

I'm a simple man who loves bacon, eggs, pancakes and lots of black coffee. The bonus was the server, she kept checking on me and ensuring I was satisfied. Like I say... "How can it get any better" what's fun is it always does, get better!

One of the few restaurants that was open on thanksgiving evening, and even though they were very busy they still got my food out fast. Plenty of parking here as well. My server was very friendly and I was seated very quick and checked out fast as well. Price was very fair especially for the holidays. My dog loved the leftovers too. No complaints from me, or my dog!

Took my family here for a much needed breakfast feasts after moving into our new home. Waitress was good, food was delicious and hit the spot. I'm a huge fan of their blueberrimy muffins

We went to our local Perkins in Salina Kansas this evening. We enjoy dining here and generally have a good experience. This evening we were seated promptly, then we sat for at least 20 minutes, no one acknowledged us. Didn't offer anything to drink, or even speak to us. A other couple was seated just before us, they left for a while then returned to their table and were greater and the server helped them. We wouldn't have minded waiting for our meal to be cooked, but we were not even acknowledged. Very disappointed in this visit.

The waitress was obviously not working for tips. I commented to my wife how I could let my empty drink glass slide if the place was busy. There was only one other couple in the restaurant at the time. In fact I never would have had my drink replenished had my wife not said something when the waitress happened near our table. On top of that, we visited on a Monday, which is supposed to be free pie day, yet I was charged for the slice of pie my wife ordered. And I am so tired of companies blaming their failing on the covid hoax. If you cannot adequately staff your establishment then don't open.

Nice clean, quiet dining area. Hostess found a seat for us right away and our orders were ready in no time. Turkey dinner was excellent👍! My son's chicken sandwich looked good and the appetizers came before the meal and was very tasty! My son wants to come back here again to eat. In all a great dinning experience!😃👍 Thumbs up 👍 to Robin our hostess for great service!

My first time eating breakfast at a Perkins. Would have rated it overall a 1 for the food alone but our server was professional and very attentive. I was on my way to a meeting so I was in a hurry and didn't have time to bring my food issues to my server. I'm sure my issues would have been addressed if I had. I only rated food a 1 because of multiple issues. I ordered a breakfast platter called Feast something or other. Eggs were way undercooked for what I ordered. The sausage links were covered in so much grease I had to pat them on a napkin. My hasbrowns were so oily they were swimming in grease and they were also still half raw. My pancakes on the side were still 25% liquid batter in the middle. One bright spot is the bacon was good and so was the sweet tea! All in all a very disappointing meal though. Like I mentioned I was only so harsh on food quality because it was multiple problems. I would not have marked so low if just undercooked eggs or cakes etc etc.

The food was good, but they are understaffed and so the waitresses are very busy and the cook is evidently understaffed. Because of the understaffing t It took a while to get our food. The food was good and enjoyable.
