Chicken fried steak, Smothered hash browns, biscuits and gravy, all was great!

Hash Browns were ice cold in the center. Instead of starting new plate, I was offered new hash browns whilst my eggs were now cooling off. ?????? I'm not sure if the cook had any experience, a good cook doesn't need to cut your pancakes to see if they're done or not. Same goes with any meal. Good luck.....

The service was great. The waitress was awesome. Super polite and attentive. However the restaurant was very very dirty. Trash under the tables that was crusted to the floor. Dust very thick on the booth edges. Crumb catchers were full of food debris. Cobwebs in the corners of the restaurant. Good food and service but, the store really needs a good cleaning. And at the time of this post there was 8 dirty tables in the store but they only had 2 servers and 2 cooks. I asked to speak to the GM and they never came out to speak with me as of yet. I'll update if he ever arrives

Food was cold & burger was burnt. Only received half of our food & the staff blamed it on the delivery driver for not grabbing it, said there's nothing they could do. Very poor customer service Edit: Got the 2nd half of our food after my husband picked it up & it was DISGUSTING! The hamburger was burnt & hard, the chicken strip over cooked, & the chicken fried dinner I order was so under cooked that it was not edible. We threw away almost our entire order. I've never had this bad of experience here, hope something changes.

We received the ice tea quickly. The burgers we asked for never arrived. They were out of hamburgers and supposedly the cook went out to get more. After about 10 minutes the young lady who took our order said the cook was back and the burgers would be ready in a few minutes. After a other 15 minutes that young lady was gone and two people were standing behind the counter talking. I asked them if our food was almost done. Well, the person who had gone to get the burgers had not gotten back yet. They asked if they could make us something else.I told them no, but that I would pay for the tea. They said we didn't have to pay.

Horrible service! Waitress forgot to order drinks and appetizer. Brought wrong food, when corrected the eggs were chopped not scrambled, the French toast was burnt. No syrup was offered. The hash browns were golden on top but chewey and the underside was like limp noodles. Waitress never came back to check on us. The assistant manager came in and stood at counter talking to the one and only other customer in restaurant. She also never checked on us. If I could give zero stars i would.

I ordered grits and a hashbrown. The hashbrown was so under cooked that it had the texture of a spaghetti noodle. The whole staff all seemed to be in a bad mood too. ☹️

Wonderful service and not too crowded for a Truck Stop Restaurant. Waitress was attentive to our every needs Miranda needs a pay raise. She was a wonderful server Miranda. So hopefully if you come to Huddle House and try their great food you can get her as a server. We decided to come here for a different change of pace and we got coupons in the mail so I wanted to see if the food was any good. We come here before and the burgers and the Philly cheese steak sandwich were good. And my son's patty melt looked good too. I would come back here again

This location never open up on time They come in when they feel like it. Then when they do come in their rude because they have to work like the rest of us. 10 minutes to 0700 no one is here to work

I am beside myself. Walked in and ordered breakfast to go, Specified not once but twice that the hashbrowns should be burnt. Left a $10 tip on a $20 meal. Got back to the truck noticing the hashbrowns were not correctly cooked. Walked back in jovial as could be. Still not upset. Common mistake. My hashbrowns were thrown back on the burner. Got back to the truck and unwrapped my meal and noticed the flavor was odd. Oddness discovered. Not going to eat here again. Good luck in your endeavors 7 years. Hopefully you will master your profession eventually. Or at least novice it.

I'm a truck driver, and anyone that knows about the HOS clock, knows that time is always at a premium. Decided to stop here for my mandatory 30. Soon as I was seated, the waitress asked for my order. Have it to her, nothing out of the way. While reading in my phone, I lost track of time. She came back over 30 minutes later, only to ask if my order has been taken. Wound up having to wait another 7 hours or so to eat.

Two stars is generous. They are severely understaffed and though the waitress did the very best they could. It could not make up for the length of the wait, nearly an hour, and the food. I'm a patient person so if the food had been delicious I would have given 4 or 5 stars, But when the food arrived 2 eggs looked like what you'd get if you ordered one egg anywhere else, and the dehydrated hash browns hadn't been rehydrated enough, so even though they looked like beautifully browned hash browns, when we bit into them it was so hard we could have done serious dental damage. In fairness they did warn us that there would be a long wait, and the bacon was really good apple wood smoked bacon, thus the two stars, I would be hard pressed to stop there again.

The staff were friendly assisting us with drinks and our orders. Their menu has so much to choose from, but settled on some steak and blueberry bites. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. The blueberry bites were amazing with their sauce and the steak was decent with the mushrooms. Overall a positive experience here.

I'm only giving a 5 stars because of the fact that there was only 2 people working and they were both cooks. I just left about half hour ago as of posting this and those two cooks better get huge raises for what they all had to deal with. My daughter and I were very appreciative of them. Seriously, give them raises. That's the only way you're keeping these 5 stars.

I had commented on less than the best waffle taste and consistency. Hopefully was just a bad day for the cook. Maybe waffle iron needed to be newly oiled. That happens particularly between shifts which this was in mid afternoon. Note the owner did respond saying they would look into this. Therefore I have edited my prior comment and raised rating. I will return later and see if it improves. I believe in being polite and sometimes it's just an infrequent concern. I highly recommend you try them out. All was good otherwise. Note I HIGHLY recommend using real butter on the waffle iron. It's made a tremendous improvement to mine which I hadn't expected.

Horrible customer service. Sat for 15-20 minutes after getting menu. No water brought. Waitress had company & was much more interested in visiting (they weren't even customers). Out of what I wanted (Rib eye) so she walked away. Had to holler across the room to where she was visiting with her friends to get some water & order. Also out of prime tips, so I asked if they had any hamburger. Not what I wanted, but hungry after a 12.5 hr day of trucking. Very poor management. Very slow when I came in...8 pm on a Monday & tables had been cleared, but not wiped. Worst tiny dried out hamburger I've ever seen. Won't be back. 4 employees & 5 customers.

Went in to eat dinner this evening. First the place reaked of old grease, 2nd the waitress got my order wrong wanted ham and mushrooms added to my bowl and she brought out hashbrowns with in them. The other girl working was really nice she went and brought me a side of ham/mushrooms to put in my bowl. But what really did it was i found egg shell in my food. All she did was take my drink off didnt even fix her other mistake with the hashbrowns. So i left hungry

Definitely understaffed. Service was slow due to lack of personnel handling dine-in service and door dash. Food was fresh and hot from kitchen when it did finally arrive, but wouldn't say it was amazing. Waitresses were very pleasant but obviously stressed and could tell they would rather be some place else. No manager that I could see.

It was mostly empty when we arrived, but the server quickly brought us coffee and took our orders. I had a waffle, which seemed smaller and lighter than its Waffle House equivalent. The food was hot and adequate, welcome after a long drive but not exceptional. The location in the truck stop is super convenient, so I might try it again sometime.

If I could literally leave no stars I would . By far thee worst service ever I wonder how in the world this place is still open ????!!!!! They have a bench and sign blocking the entrance to get in and you have to wait until someone sees you which they didn’t for at least 10 minutes . The server had an attitude the whole time , no smile, huffing and puffing the whole 9 ! The server went and sat another table immediately… took their drinks brought them their drinks … also took their order and put it in before our order when we were ready to order . The employees are fighting in the back where everyone can see and they are throwing paper plates at each other . Raising their voices . What kind of establishment is this ? Their strawberry lemonade was watered down . The food was decent, my bowl was saturated in gravy it was like soup, the kids food wasn’t bad . But who wants to eat in this kind of environment ? Not again .

Place was dirty. The cook himself did not look clean appeared to be under the influence. The waitress was did not look clean. More like just finished a shift at a warehouse. Food was nasty. Mash potatoes were straight out of the box and wasn't cook all the way. I can go on and on. Save your money. Go up 1 more exit and it's a better truck stop there better food.

Ordered ribeye steak french fries seasoned vegetables Texas toast. The vegetables had one carrot one broccoli and a big ball of cauliflower and was extremely spicy the steak was chewy looked boiled the fries was good the toast was good. The staff was good.

Wait was a little long but worth it to me. I got the shrimp basket. It was so good. However my husband's burger was not so great. They overcooked the patties. The wait staff was excellent.

The poor staff! Only 2 working this morning. If you need a job, go there! They did not have gravy prepared. Long wait. Cook needs to see the bigger picture not just one order at a time. The waffles were good. Hash browns were too crispy.

The food was over cooked and dry service was non-existent, I ordered a sandwich which has "savory au jus" as part of it and it never came out and when I was able to finally able to flag down my server and ask about it she said that they didn't have any, I wish I would have known, I would have ordered something else. I ordered a water no ice and of course was brought with ice and it was with a huff she replaced it. I was not checked on during my meal to see what I needed once my food was delivered. The bench seat is in poor shape I worked for years in food service I love to tip today it is going to be a challenge

Dirty tables and floor the food was not great. Bacon was way over cooked, so we're sausage and eggs. Pancakes were okay. The waitress was really nice though. She did a great job.

Food is the typical quality one would expect from an establishment such as this. Which is to say do not have high expectations. Service was acceptable enough to not leave a complaint here. Atmosphere was the best part of the experience, which included flies buzzing around you while you eat.

Bad Service, most orders incomplete. Literally all stuff didn’t know there job duties, seems like they hired all crack heads from the truck stop parking lot.

Don't go. Ordered a turkey sandwich. No turkey. Ordered fruit. No fruit. No salads. Had a BLT but did not want bread toasted. It fell apart when I picked it up. Was supposed to come with mayo but had to ask for it. Only good part was lettuce & tomato. Should have walked out when it was obvious tables had not been bussed.

There were 3 tables of customers, 1 of them had 1 person. Took 25 minutes to get out food. Mine was hamburger and fries. It was Luke warm at best. 1st and last time I'll go there.

Only one waitress working on a Saturday morning. Coffee cup empty for a long time. I wish I could say the food was good but we didn't eat most of it because it was undercooked, cold, and soggy. But they did comp our entire ticket and waitress was apologetic and friendly. They just need some more staff and better cook. Wash the windows inside and out!

Not sure why it's so hard to be attentive to all the tables in an establishment when they are not very busy. My waitress didn't even ask me if I wanted a refill and it took her almost an hour to bring me my guest check. Not only that, but when I ordered, I had asked for extra gravy and a plate for my biscuit. In that SHORT time I asked for that she forgot until she heard me set my salt and pepper back on the table. She was so interested in chatting with her coworker, that my table was not important. She was attentive to the people that were sitting at the bar, but not those of us that were sitting at the tables. I will admit that she was somewhat busy, but not so busy that she couldn't at least glance around to see an empty beverage cup for 40 minutes. Waitresses who depend on tips for wages should be attentive to everyone, not just the ones that are close to you. The food was okay, but it's hard to mess up pre-prepared food. The eggs were over done. So disappointed tonight

Very good service, friendly and yummy food. I had the stuffed hashbrowns. Very good but I could only eat half of it!

Went in, sat down. Waited. Watched one server clean tables. One walk by us. One stand at the counter tending the people there. And one tending to her SCREAMING/screeching child. 90% of the workers were wearing sweat pants and mismatched shirts. Very unprofessional. Waited. Waited. Watched. Waited. Left. Dirty tables everywhere. Lack of service. Seems to be the norm. Had Tori been working we would have stayed. But the crew serving today definitely looked like they did not care (appearance) and who brings their child to work in a restaurant??? Unpleasant and will not be back anytime soon. Negative stars if I could.
