Went to panera bread in Salina, Ks a place I frequently visit in Wichita. The lady at the register, Sherry, was rude, she didnt have on a name tag, i repeatedly asked her for her name she refused to provide me her name so i could report her rudeness, I asked for the manager, an assistant manager came out, provided her name and she then attempted to argue with me in front of the manager. He could not get her to stop. Ive never experienced such poor customer service from panera bread. I got a refund and left.

We ordered curbside pickup and the server was very nice. However, one of our bakery items was not wrapped at all just thrown into the bag. The cinnamon roll had a hair in it. Very disappointing.

I used to truly enjoy going to Panerai Bread in Salina Kansas, that is until a few months ago I began to experience a very marked decrease in the attitude of the staff. The quality of the food has remained fairly good. In the past few months the service by the staff has declined to the point that it is worse than the burger the appropriate meal. Now the staff is bothered if you ask about the bread, chips or apple with the appropriate meal. Reward points, they look at you as if you are from a planet far far away.

Avoid at all costs possible. When we went here last night, our food wasn't served on plates, but rather in a paper bag. Nothing was packaged in that bag, it was all loose. Staff was rude and uncooperative we had issues with our order. Now my wife and I are dealing with food poisoning because of this place.

Man, I'm sad to say that Panera has gone down hill. They were out of several items, all the tables were dirty, and some kind of commotion in the back.

Evening shift staff are welcoming compared to day shift. Bathrooms could use a good scrub too

Super tasty meal as always. Bathroom was clean and the service was friendly and fast. I love their pick 2 option! Got a turkey blt and broccoli cheddar soup with a nice red apple.

Great food, good service and quick ordering with the computer! You can easily customize your order as well and skip the ordering line. Great lunch today!

Love the cheese n broccoli soup! Salads should be served with dressing on side as last one I got had way too much dressing.

The only good part was the ordering of the food. Everything after that took a dive bomb and the only reason its getting a ONE Star is that there is no ZERO star option! This was for take out, and it was NOT busy at all, so they have no excuse for their poor service. They didn't announce the food was ready AT ALL. Even Taco Bell is better about announcing your order is ready! So it sat on the counter, unannounced until a clerk "realized" that it was sitting there. By that point the grilled cheese sandwich barely had any warmth remaining and the pizza itself had gone stone cold. We didn't realize just how cold it was until after we'd left. If I'd realized it while I was there, I would have raised unholy hell for their terrible customer service.

Food OK. Service lousy and very SLOW! I asked the person at drive thru if he would like to put my $15 order on my rewards and he said he would do it when I got to the window - which he forgot! I asked him again and he said to do it when I come back NEXT time and then did not give me a receipt. Then to rub it in - he put a sticker on my sack which said More perks More rewards - score free treats free delivery & more. How can you do that if your employee doesn't put it on your rewards and no receipt to prove you even bought it? Feb 9, 2023 at 2 pm. Got a bowl of broccoli and cheddar soup and 2 pecan twists. Not impressed at all!!

Didn’t even want to give 1 star but had to, to post this review! My son and I went and ate at Panera Bread on Jan 19th 2023, take out in Salina Ks. I ordered the Napa Almond Chicken Sandwich and was eating on my way home as we live out of town. There was a cabinet knob in my sandwich. How the heck does a cabinet knob get in food!!!! Drove all the way back for a refund and to show the manager whom was working that night an he laughed at the situation. Not funny. Disgusted

The customer service is outrages! I went there to get some food, and then in the process of getting food, it took over a whole fricking hour!!! Like WHAT!?!?!! I had to go for a orchestra concert, and in the midst of asking 30 minutes waiting, cause inside there’s like this menu that displays the order your in to get a order, and then FRICKING 30 minutes IN PEOPLE WHO ORDERED BEHIND US GOT INFRONT OF US!!!! CRAZY RIGHT!?!? So my buddies and me walked up and asked cause we had to go soon, and they like “oh we accidentally lost your order” LIKE HOW DO YOU LOOSE OUR ORDER! It is SUPER OUTRAGES AND THE PIZZZA WAS LUKEWARM!!! After a hour I had lukewarm pizza and hot chocolate milk which they forgot to include by the way. This place made me super mad! 😡😡😡

I really like their salads, but they have been skimping many times on drive thru orders (3 times on me now over the past month)...after repeatedly telling them that I want a WHOLE salad, I consistently get charged a whole salad, but get served a half...with barely any lettuce and chicken. When you go in and order, it will be a full, but they kinda are getting away with smaller portions on people coming thru drive thru...hopefully management is reading this...I get bigger salads and cheaper at chick-fil-a (at least u get a consistent portion when u order over there). Please fix ASAP!

Panera use to be good. I ordered the smokehouse barbecue chicken sandwich only to bite into the most bland, unseasoned chicken sandwich I’ve ever tasted. The chicken was somehow dry and mush at the same time with zero flavor. The bread as usual, was dry and hard around the edges. Supposedly had barbecue sauce on it but was barely noticeable. I also ordered an iced caramel latte… coffee was bland and tasted like hospital cafeteria coffee with some caramel sauce added to it. Very disappointed with the food at this place and how much flavor it lacked. And for the price, definitely not worth it. I’m sure their soups and bread bowls are still good but nothing else I’ve ever tried has been worth the paper they wrapped it in.

I am very saddened that chili is no longer on the menu. It has been my winter comfort for many years. I have been a very frequent patron since this location opened. They know me by name. I've been told that this location has a smaller menu now. I do understand that cinnamon rolls were first taken off then brought back. Please do the same with chili as many people want chili with their cinnamon rolls. I'm pleading!

Been far from civilization for awhile so when I saw a Panera, I just had to stop in for a hazelnut coffee ☕ in the lobby it was empty so I asked for them to please bring more out. Usually they have a refill ready to bring out and exchange empty pot, they didn't have one ready and also they usually have a pot for drive thru but they were out also. So I waited for it to brew. Not a huge deal. I did however notice while waiting a young lady just got off work she was putting her lid on her drink on the way out and spilt soda on counter and floor, she looked at it and just walked out. Not a good worker if you ask me. I also came again a day later while I was in town and coffee was great, but Really Disappointed in the lack of customer service skills this crew possessed. I came in nobody says hello they don't acknowledge when customers walk in or when they leave. I order off the kiosk both times so I didn't need any help but there was a group of workers at the registers not sure if they were training or what was going on but not one person said hello some of them looked up at me while I was getting my coffee but I thought, how rude. Where I come from workers on or off the clock smile and acknowledge when a customer walks in or they're leaving and your within distance of seeing them you should say something anything. I hate going into a business and nobody says hello how are you or bye see you next time or I'll be with you in just a moment it's rude and horrible customer service. Even if your not working the counter and your in the back but you see a customer and notice nobody says anything I think you should!!! And all the panera's that I've ever been to besides this one, always has excellent customer service. The best customer service is something that Panera has always been known for no matter what state or what town you go to. The lack of customer service skills at this store could really make or break a customers return. I always thought that no matter where you went you would get good service excellent service at Panera bread even if the food or drinks weren't good. I was wrong after years of going to Panera Facebook customer love hazelnut coffee this store's customer service was no different than any other fast-food restaurant makes me want to just go to Starbucks instead!

Three times now they have made a sandwich wrong. They need to have better management overseeing the quality that goes out. Sad. Big name but poor results.
