Been going here for 4 years, mostly take out. Food is pretty good, but tonight was a HUGE disappointment. Called in a take out order, told 25 minutes. got there in 20, paid,THEN they put the order in to cook. Waited another 25 minutes for the food, 45 minutes from when I called in the order. If that's what they're doing now, should have asked me if I wanted to pay by CC over the phone when I placed the order. Not ordering from them again. Vietnamese place 1/4 mile away has my business now.

My husband and I come here fairly often and always receive good service. My favorite thing to order is the Mango Sauce. It's sweet, flavorful, lightly spicy, has zucchini (which I love), and jalapenos. It doesn't come with rice, though, so be sure to order some. My husband always gets tofu pad Thai and really enjoys it. There is parking in the back and you can enter through a back door. The vibe isn't anything special, but it's nice for Salinas.

Great food .. horrible customer service.. I've gone twice and I didn't want to go the 2nd time because of that reason but went to try to see if it would be different and it was worse than the first time. The first time they took long when it was only 2 table of a couple also we never got out appetizers.... 2nd time they took long to take our order also got the order wrong and told me it was my fault when I clearly said 4 times cause she didn't understand also when we paid we left a tip that was less than what was taken so she added to it ... it's a nice place really good food but they really need new staff ..

Pad Thai is good. My favorite so far is the Pumpkin & Artichoke Red Curry, which I'll get again in the future. The Orange Duck over crispy noodles was okay, kind of dry (there wasn't much sauce). They keep a clean restaurant. I like waiting at the bar for my to-go order. I've been lucky coming at off hours; parking is very tight.

Thought this restaurant was pretty good but it was a little bit pricey. Even though I give it 4 stars and would recommend this place.

This restaurant must of been sold recently. My wife and I (she is Thai) have eaten here like six times over past three years. We will not be returning. Nobody in the restaurant was Thai, which is not a good sign. I ordered basil fried rice and the waiter said Drunken Noodle? I said no Basil Fried rice and pointed to the photo in menu. And he said ok Drunken Noodle. I said no. Basil Fried Rice please. All the other tables around me were having issues as well. What was served to me was fried rice with soy sauce. It was gross. Could not eat it. I have eaten Basil fried rice hundreds of times in Thailand and in USA. I don’t know what this plate was. They did not charge me and the waiter was trying his best. But they have no idea what thai food is. I ordered Tom Kah Gai and he didn’t know what that was. That pretty much sums it up. If you want people that don’t understand Thai food cooking for you then u might like it. Not going back.

I am in love with this family run slice of paradise. I appreciate the family style food service (it seems to be consistent with other Thai restaurants that I've been to). My group of 7 had 8 dishes served to us, and they were all phenomenal. Nam Tok, Pad Prik Khing, Pad Thai, Pineapple Curry, all of it was full of flavor. There's not one dish out of the 8 I had that I wouldn't reorder. The service was par to none, either. Our server did everything that a server should with a smile. When can I come back?

I was disappointed. We ordered pad thai, basil fried rice, and basil duck, but all 3 dishes tasted nearly identical in terms of flavors. They also all have very similar ingredients too. The basil duck should be renamed basil bamboo shoots with carrots. The basil rice should be renamed basil carrots with rice. There was very little basil flavor, its presence was more for garnishment. Ny server was friendly and tentative enough. Overall, I feel there was just not enough Thai-ness and variations in the flavors. I would not use this restaurant as a demonstration of thai cuisin.

Authentic Thai food unlike that fake Thai place just opened around the corner from this lovely establishment. Don't be fooled if you want real Thai food in Salinas this is the place.

Yeah don't come here if you have ever had Thai food in your life. Under seasoned and over cooked pad see ew. Over cooked fried artichoke, tasted only like vinegar. The spring roll were 90% lettuce and 2% chicken and the peanut sauce tasted almost like sweet and sour sauce. This place makes the worst Thai places I've been to seem like 5 star restaurants.

First the ambience was very nice for dinner. Our server was attentive and very nice. Now food is great! We went for a shrimp pad Thai that was delicious. We also had chicken sauté and yellow curry one of my favorites, flavors were great! I highly recommend it!

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Service is prompt. Food is delicious with generous portions and nice presentation. We got the Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp, Yellow Curry with Tofu, and Pad Thai with Tofu. The fried rice came with way more shrimp than expected. Most only put 5 or so, but Ginger Thai was generous.

This is a family owned and operated business. I am always greeted with warm and friendly smiles. I feel like part of the family. The food is always fresh and innovative. Great care is evident in every dish. Prices are modest.

Bear in mind this was a to go order. Ordered a specialty rice dish a specialty pork dish is a specialty pasta dish add a specialty seafood dish. .Every dish we opened was a cornstarch, flowerery gellotouns goo. 88 dollar's of inedible slop. UNBELIEVABLE

Our take out order was not ready when requested and we only had a 30 minute window of time. The staff didn't care about expediting the order or even feel sorry for the inconvenience. She even went as far as saying her computer wouldn't let her refund me and to come back at 5:00 p.m. when she will provide a refund. I would not go to this restaurant ever again even if it was the last Thai restaurant in Salinas. This is how they treat their customers. Attitude. Should anyone out there need Thai food, I would highly recommend Siamese Bay in Monterey!!!

Literally just left this place and had to let everyone know it is so good. I had the beef salad as to Thai tradition my mouth was on fire. But it burns so good. The flavor was on point. I love that they gave me a lol trio rack of extra spicey chilli's with soy sauce in the 4th spot of the rack. My brother in law is Thai and makes the best beef salad this place tastes just like his. Added a lil sprinkle of the powdered chili over the top and omg it's the best! Price is right for quality Thai food. The beef salad won't disappoint I highly recommend. Service is fabulous the servers all work together to provide an excellent experience

Place looks clean and it's a great space! Parking is not visible, but it is available in the back. Taste was alright. Great service. However... kinda pricy! A curry plate and a drink... cost me over 20$!!!! NOT even in LA have I ever paid that much for Thai food. 🤔😑😕

I've been here a few times for lunch. The food is always good. I get salad and soup with the lunch order. They have boba drinks and they will make them with almond milk if you ask. There's access to a bathroom for customers. Parking is tricky for this restaurant so I usually just walk there. Staff is attentive when there's not a lot of people.

Had an amazing experience at Ginger Thai. Ordered the Basil noodles and red curry with beef. Both were good, but I like the noodles more. The best part for me was the service which felt above and beyond in my opinion. I’d recommend!

went on a date here for the first time with my girlfriend, food and service was good but nothing special from my point of view, so with this said I didn’t feel compelled to leave a tip, especially with prices at this place being so high ($40 for two meals that weren’t all that special) still good food, just not great for my taste buds, but this isn’t the reason for my two star rating, my rating is low do to the fact that after I paid and had left, the waiter (possible owner) came out asking where his tip was? I was strict with hesitation because I’ve never had anyone run after me asking for their tip. With this experience I won’t be going back again.
