They cancelled my appointment right before I walked in the door and said they cancelled in advance. Then they said I should have called to confirm in advance... But I had called and confirmed the day before. I traveled an hour to get here. Very disappointed. I see several other comments in the reviews here saying the same thing or similar happened to them. Honestly, I do not recommend coming here.

If I could rate it a 0 i would! Horrible customer service. I called, made an appointment and I canceled it that same day and thats when the harassment began! Ive gotten a total of 6!! phone calls from WD asking me, am I going to the appointment? (NO, I CANCELED!!) or they see I canceled but are asking if I want to reschedule (no i dont). Even after the first 3 phone calls of the same questions and same answers they continue to call and harass me!!! What part of canceled and no rescheduling dont they understand!

They know how busy this dentist office can be they need to do better in getting clients in and out. My appointment was 9am and I left there at 12:20ish and that’s only because I spoke up! To top it off they forgot to send in my prescription to the pharmacy after I asked the assistant if she had all my information if I needed anything or if she needed anything else she said I was good to go. It’s frustrating especially under certain circumstances then they don’t send the prescription. Like I said they need to do better and if you don’t like your job bc it’s always busy then you’re in the wrong business.

I've been a patient for many years; both general and orthodontics. Everyone at the office I visit is very helpful and friendly. I've been satisfied with the dental work I've had there.

3 hours waiting, terrible service, the disk dentists just walk around and do not attend to anything, the horrible bad-tempered staff had never been to a place like this with such bad service, terrible service, I do not recommend it at all

My elder parents had to wait for 2+ hours as new patients. The staff couldn’t find their online forms, so they had to write in their forms again. Diagnoses are vague and doesn’t offer other non-invasive options before giving the option to take out all teeth..? They are not going back ever again…

Ortho department is awesome! General department is honestly getting worse. 2+ hrs waiting for a cleaning. My appointment was at 10, got my wires removed—currently 12:20 pm and haven’t gotten my cleaning. To top it off they’ve been calling patients that came in after me.

I like western dental cause of the staff of people that work there . They are very helpful and friendly and make you feel important . Also I wanted to say the surgeon that was my attending doctor. DOCTOR Ritu ,the 2 years she took care of me is the best .I felt safe in her hands. Thank you.

This was the only general dental business listed as available under my insurance plan. I called to schedule a check-up and X-rays, and over the phone, the staff was professional and sent me online forms to complete. When I entered the door, one staff member had their back turned away on their phone, and the other greeted me and then turned away. When I gave them my name and appointment time, they seemed confused about when I booked, and I got the feeling they had not set up my appointment. They then asked for all the information I had spent time giving them in advance and told me the only information I provided was my insurance company's name. I had provided all the required information on the online forms, and they rushed to contact my insurance company to confirm my eligibility. It was clear steps hadn't been taken. They then told me it would be at least an hour wait for service. This was the first time I've had that kind of delay without being contacted well in advance. I feel again that my appointment wasn't set up in advance. They said they would not likely provide X-rays due to short staffing issues, which is why I came in. By missing work for this appointment, I lost money to be seen. They were vague when I asked if they would provide other services that my plan offers, such as teeth cleanings. They said that I could show up for a scheduled appointment and not be seen at all, and the fact I had a Covered California plan made it less likely I could have these services taken care of at their location. There was a strong suggestion that the only benefits they could unreliably provide were X-rays. The fact that I pay for insurance, give up money by missing work, and expect to show up and be blown off completely is a joke. If that is the case, I'd give up more money missing work than my plan was worth. So I canceled it with my insurance company and filed a complaint with my insurance and Covered California. The agents at CA said this type of practice was unacceptable and should be reported. The staff came across as vague to avoid commitments, unorganized, combative, and rude. I buying a new plan tomorrow to avoid going here, and I recommend that others do as well. Also, the first sign this place was terrible was all the scotch tape from old notes all over the front door's glass that would take 10 minutes to remove. It gave the initial impression that this location would be the nightmare it was. Consider cleaning it up.

Although the wait time can be very long, the south salinas western dental location has amazing staff! The laddies are are very friendly, kind and accommodating. Erma is typically assisting the doctors on my visits and she is always very caring and extremely knowledgeable.
