The customer service here is excellent. The workers are friendly and talkative. They're food taste fresh and great and comes out faster than expected for how busy they can get. They also sell snacks that your usually have to go to H Mart or a specialized marker for and, though not a large selection, it's decently priced. Definitely recommend going if you've never been! Keep in mind, though, it's fairly small inside and there is limited seating.

Weirdly pan-Asian menu for a place called "Sushi" Hut: Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Hawaiian, as well as Japanese. Was really skeptical but drove all the way out because of the red bean buns which they sadly don't have anymore. Lots of odd, non-authentic offerings like ha gau soup and deep fried ha gau. Frying the skins ruined the ha gao imho, but the insides were good, with whole shrimp in the filling, not a fish ball with shrimp pieces, though the insides were bland and underseasoned. Part of the appeal of ha gao is the sticky, chewy skin, so deep-frying them ruined them texturally. I think if they were pan-fried so you had both crunchy and chewy textures it would have been tastier and more successful. Also I missed not having red vinegar for them. The gyoza/mandoo sauce they give you does not go with seafood imho. They also have a market with snack-y items, making it resemble a Lee's Sandwiches more than a takeout joint. They were stocked with 8 out of 10 Sailor Moon Ocean Bomb flavors (Pluto and Saturn are hard to find still) and a decent cross-section of Dragon Ball Z Ocean Bombs. It was still hopping half an hour before closing and parking was tight. Would try again if ever in the area again.

Great place for sushi! Very wide variety of Japanese food and drinks. A lot of different candies and drinks you can only find at Sushi Hut. Fast service.

This place is an absolute gem! A little hidden nook in a shopping center. If you are a fan of poke bowls, they are excellent! The wonton soup is killer! Loaded with wontons and veggies. I have tried quite a few of their dishes, and every item I have had left me full and my taste buds satisfied! You seriously cannot go wrong. The owner is such a sweetheart and puts her heart into everything she serves you.

The staff here are so very nice and helpful, always with a smile. Food was very tasty, I'd recommend getting Chicken Gyoza and some sushi 🍣 😋.

I have been craving takoyaki and jasmine tea for so long, I was surprised to find both here! I ordered online through their website and came to pick up my food. They asked me if I had ordered and promptly handed me my order. The staff was so friendly and eager to serve! It was a wonderful pick-me-up to be greeted with a smile and excitement after a long day. I definitely recommend Sushi Hut for anyone looking for a delicious meal and a smile.

The lady up front taking orders is a superhero, she was handling calls and taking orders and serving food all with the sweetest smile on her face. She was super helpful with deciding what to get and very friendly! The food was delicious, great portions for the price, and I couldn't help but also grab some snacks on the way out. There's a reason this place is so highly rated!

Excellent poke! Got it right before close and it was still really fresh. Both people behind the counter were very helpful suggesting what to get. Very competitive pricing especially for poke. It is my personal opinion that this place serves the freshest sushi and dishes in Salinas. The staff are friendly and have a personable type of customer service. The store is always kept clean and organized. My recommendation is to have a sit down, grab a poke bowl, and enjoy the atmosphere.

I came here during a trip & I’m very happy I did. If I am ever in the area again, I will be coming back. The customer service was good & genuine. I've been going to this place for 2 years now and it never disappoints. The food is fresh and tasty and they are so kind and sweet. they have lots of option for everyone and has been my favorite spot every time I come visit to salinas.

Tasty dishes, great portions, affordable. Probably one of the most enjoyable casual meals I've had in recent memory. I would say the worst part about this place is the parking can be rough sometimes and there's only a couple tables to dine in, but it's still totally worth going.

It was my first time going and the woman working the counter was super sweet! My family and I purchased some snacks for our movie night and they had all the best snacks!
