I ordered the cream of crab soup. It was decent. Not very much crab in it. Maybe a pinch. Then I ordered and entree to go. The jumbo stuffed shrimp. This "meal" costs over $40 and is smaller than an appetizer. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I understand that there are shortages happening but the prices need to be adjusted to accommodate the customer. I will not be back.

UPDATED-Lunch on 6/5, additional information. We sat outside & Jessica was our Server. She was very kind & accommodating. The food was fabulous, all of it! Apologies, we chowed down so much pics did not happened. We had the Cheesesteak EEG Rolls, Shrimp Salad with Jerk Chicken…DESSERT Chocolate Mousse & Fried Oreos 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 Great spot!! I was vaguely aware of this location, however I am so glad that I stopped. What a hot spot!!! TV’s everywhere, huge bar, large space, right on the water. Tons of parking, easy lot to get around. Excellent spot, go check it out!!!

Customer Service: 3/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Food & Drink: 1/5 Overall, if I could give 2 & 1/2 stars, I would. But my girlfriend and I did not receive an experience worth 3 stars. The hostess and waitress were friendly and concise as you'd expect from any restaurant. Everything was brought to us in a timely manner and there were no issues with the accuracy of our order. The atmosphere is great; very clean, well crafted, and really takes advantage of its location on the water. No complaints here. The food is where we were very disappointed. Firstly, being a seafood restaurant we understand that foods on the outlier are not the priority. Regardless, our mozzarella sticks tasted like the frozen, boxed food you buy from Wal-Mart. The marinara on the side gave me flashbacks of High School cafeteria lunch. This was our appetizer in conjunction with both Maryland Crab and Cream of Crab soup. Both soups had good flavor, but lacked any meaningful amount of crab meat. For a price tag of $10/bowl we definitely expected more. Our entrees were Chicken Caesar salad and Blackened Scallop Fettuccine. The chicken was overcooked and tough; lettuce, room temperature and starting to brown; croutons, probably store bought; dressing, average. The Blackened Scallop Fettuccine is where we were the most disappointed. The scallops were browned, but were slightly undercooked giving them an unsettling rubbery texture. The pasta also came out undercooked, and dry from a lack of sauce. This wouldn't be as bad if the noodles had any kind of flavor to them (easily fixed by at least salting the water you boil them in). The side of green beans came out of the kitchen cold. Honestly, we didn't even bother to taste them. All of this paired with an $8 glass of Pinot Grigio for each of us made for a memorable date night. 🥂

Visiting with my mom from out of town and stopped in here. Jam packed in the bar area for their “Eastern Shore Idol” competition even on a Wednesday night. Very reasonable drink prices and great service despite how chaotic/crowded it was. Too loud to hear the server’s name, but he did an amazing job especially considering how busy he was (young white guy with shaggy dark hair). Super patient with my mom who is older with hearing issues. Would definitely return if back in the area.

We loved our server Chelsea and the experience and ambiance is amazing !!! And ok let’s talk about their chicken strips please please order those and tell me if you think they are out of this world BUT you must use 2 sauces for dipping as I did , honey mustard and bbq 🍗!!! If you love the water on a sunny day with a bomb piece of chicken and a “soda on the side” 😂 was a great birthday brunch with my birthday twin !!!!

I've been looking for some delicious authentic Maryland Crab Cakes since I've arrived, and Brew River delivered!! We started off with the shrimp appetizer, and it was well cooked and tasty. The Crab Cake dinner is absolutely delicious and is definitely worth the price for the quality. We also ordered the steak, which was also prepared very well! I would like to go back again before we leave, and I definitely recommend this place!

Great food but beware or market pricing, be sure to ask what the price is before ordering things with market price. I was quite surprised when I got my bill. Other than that amazing food and I would definitely go back.

I found the restaurant to be really nice inside, but far too hot to sit outside, at least for now. I joined my co-workers for a night out and we all enjoyed everything we had. Appetizers, drinks, burgers, pasta and more. It is pricy, but the serving sizes and really big and you'll be asking for a box later.

It is pricey, but friendly, beautiful Restaurant. It's a shame my order of cream of crab soup tasted like gravy with a dab of crab meat in the center. Traded it for walnut salad it was good.

Ok so we visited Brew River it has a nice ambiance (water view). We ordered fried Shrimp and fries, lobster Mac and cheese, boom boom shrimp, sea food pasta, honey bbq wings, cheese steak rolls. The wings was good, lobster Mac and cheese was ok and the boom boom shrimp was excellent. Everything else was not so good fries was dry and tasted stale, the sea food pasta was dry and the shrimp over cooked, the fried shrimp was chewy and didn't like the batter they fried it in. Or waitress was great and the food came out at a reasonable time.

The drinks are very reasonable and always taste great. . Appetizers are really good, love anything with crab dip (waffle fries, pretzel, bread) and old bay honey wings are the best. Haven’t been for dinner recently, but the menu looks good. Nice view and casual atmosphere. The muffins are always delicious too.

Our service was fantastic. The bar was really busy with one bartender and she kept us taken care of. We ordered some of the happy hour specials and the monday shrimp dinner deal. Everything was good. We were just a little disappointed that they don't have the hand breaded shrimp anymore. They were amazing and the ones they have now just aren't as good.

This place is amazing!! Outside seating on the deck on the water. Love music on Saturday afternoon. Excellent, friendly service. Reasonable prices! Awesome drinks-- try their orange crush! Food was delicious; the kids meal could feed an army. Everything was great, but the bread basket elevated the experience to a whole other level! It contained warmed, iced raisin bread, warm blueberry muffins and coconut muffins. Best restaurant I have ate at this year. We will definitely go back!

Great restaurant with plenty of room inside and out, friendly staff and our waitress was very nice and although she was very busy she made her rounds to check on us multiple times. They were 🐕‍🦺 friendly also. There was a band and they were great too. The atmosphere was relaxing and it was a good time. If I were to have any complaint it would be the prices but when you look at how nice of a place it is the price doesn't seem so bad,This was my first time here and I do and will recommend.

My husband and I have been here in the past year three times and every time it has been great, but tonight was exceptional. The food was wonderful, we had the Wednesday night Prime Rib special and we sat outside with our 2 dogs. Our server, Taylor, was fun, attentive and an excellent server even though she was super busy. She took care of us, our dogs, and checked back often enough that we had everything we needed. The restaurant was hopping and the atmosphere was relaxed and upbeat. The food was great, the beer was good, but the establishment could include more microbrews. I have to say I love Brew River, but the best part of tonight was the service because of Taylor!

Molly was my bartender and did a fantastic job! Made my drinks right and quick with a good presentation! She took charge when there was a rush of people! Thank you for this experience!

What a wonderful place for dinner ! Our waiter Matthew was awsome , the food was great , a little to humid for us to sit outside but we defiantly be outside next time ! Been searching for a great place and we've found it . I don't know where you can get all those snowcrab leggs coleslaw to die for and hush puppies for under $35.00 ! You also receive complementary blueberry muffins , coconut muffins , cornbread muffins and a couple of slices of raisin bread and real butter , we also ordered the crab mac n cheese for 2 as an appetizer quite a large portion very rich and crabby ! We couldn't finish our dinner we ended up taking 3 boxes home !!

They are open late which comes in handy after traveling far. It's more family favorable in the mornings and more friends in the evenings. Service is pretty decent the venue could use a little more space but everything considered it's a Nice place to eat and/or party. The food is very good for its price , it is a bit pricey because it's seafood. Drinks were very good as well strong.

We used to love getting carry out from Brew River. The food was same as dine in and ordering was easy. Over the last year or so, something changed. The carry out is dry, thrown in heaps without care, employees that answer the phone don’t know the menu and try to fob you off to online orders (one even told us they don’t take phone orders anymore), and no one seems to understand the menu in any given day. Training must be lacking. Premium price in exchange for frustration and disappointment when it comes to carry out. We have expressed our disappointment before to no avail thus a written review. The bars do seem to be doing well with happy customers. I can no longer recommend take out to my friends and guests. Bummer.

We met friends for Half priced Prime Rib nite. The three who had prime rib thoroughly enjoyed it. My chopped salad with grilled chicken was tasty and large. I took 2/3 of it home. Service was very good. She was attentive, polite, friendly and checked with us often.

The food at Brew River has improved quite a bit. The server that we had for a large group of about 14 was phenomenal. The atmosphere if it did not have the water would be dismal. The restaurant needs repairs. Overall thumbs up and would eat there again.

Went to dinner at 3:45 on a Sunday afternoon in February. We were seated at a table that was already occupied (the couple went to the bathroom.) Dust N Bones was playing live, obnoxiously loud rock music. There was no way to avoid or get away from it to enjoy a dinner. The waitress couldn't even hear us to take orders. The menu is very limited and expensive. Only 3 vegetarian options (mozzarella sticks, kid's Mac n cheese, or salad). No vegan options. It wasn't busy at all at the time we came but it took 20 minutes to place food orders and over 30 minutes and 3 tries to get drinks (diet soda and waters). The food didn't come out all together. 1 meal came, then 5 minutes later, part of another came out, then a couple minutes later, another meal... another couple minutes, the last part of a meal came. It was the most odd and annoying food delivery I have ever experienced. I was told by the waitress that the mixed vegetable of the day was "a little bit of everything." It was carrots with a few sprinklings of cooked kale and red peppers. The mozzarella sticks are the generic, frozen kind you get from a grocery store in the green and white box. The place was well staffed and not busy yet multiple tables remained dirty and not cleared, with a full busbucket on a table for 30+ minutes. Our waitress didn't clear finished plates or glasses from our table as our meal went on. It became cluttered. When our meal was done, we asked for boxes. It took 5 minutes. I had been there once before with no issues but I will likely never go there again after this experience.

It's a sports bar and has sports bar food/quality. Granted I got naked boom, boom, shrimp and I got naked wings. The wings were way too big. They were overcooked and wasn't enough ranch that was given to handle the quantity.

I had a great time there. I asked dad to take me to Brew River for my Birthday ( which was yesterday). It’s been a while since I’ve been to Brew River so I decided to have my birthday dinner here at this place. You should try the Prime Rib Cheesesteak! And the best bread ( which are muffins and cornbread).

First time stopping in Salisbury and eating here. Chose this place out of the blue. Pleasantly surprised. The view is nice and the food is good. The waitress was nice. Recommend.
