Best Desi Restaurant in America Period I live in Northern Virginia and have tried most of the Desi restaurants in the area as well as many elsewhere in America, nothing comes close to the Punjab Kabab & Grill. Luckily, I happened to stumble upon this gem on my trip to Ocean City as my hotel was in Salisbury, the Hampton Inn. I was able to get a glimpse of the kitchen so I can confirm that the food is all fresh and cooked to order, as any good food should be. Most importantly, the food was perfectly spiced and every single dish was delicious, which happens very rarely according to my palate. Another bonus, compared to prices elsewhere, the prices here were very reasonable and some items like the Chicken Sheekh Kabab ($4 for 2 big seekhs) are a complete bargain. I cannot stress how much I recommend this restaurant. I have never felt so satisfied after a meal at a restaurant as I did here. The food was as good as home, which says a lot given how nitpicky my family is about food being perfect. Everyone there was quite helpful, most notably the very sweet lady who works as a waiter there (I didn't remember to ask for her name). Overall, we are overjoyed with satisfaction after our meal at Punjab Kabab and Grill. It really made the trip and now we're planning on returning to the area, undertaking the 3-4 hour drive in, in the future with the sole purpose of eating at this restaurant.

Food is always good & flavorful. Doesn't make you feel heavy or bloated after eating. Gone over 3x now and it's always quality. Food can come out a little slow sometimes but the guy in the front is very friendly.

Best Pakistani food on the Eastern Shore of Maryland!!! The Chef truly knows what Pakistani food is supposed to taste like, especially Punjabi style. The menu covers a wide range of meat and vegetable dishes. I haven't had fried fish this good in a long time. Everything I have had has tasted fresh and cooked to perfection, especially goat dishes. I am definitely coming to this place again and again until the menu is exhausted. And on top that everything is reasonably priced. Best kept secret on the eastern shore.

We got chicken Curry, Goat biryani, Naan, and Veggie Samosa, and it was excellent flavor with the bone in. We go to a lot of Indian restaurants in Houston and this one better quality food. We'll definitely be back when we visit Salisbury. Thanks Punjab Kabab & Grill

Authentic Pakistani/north Indian cuisine with original aromatic spices. Clean kitchen and hygienic conditions. They serve Kashmir tea which is hard to find in any other Indian or Pakistani restaurants - that's their USP.

Chicken tikka masala was gross, oily and inedible. Naan bread was good.

This is my favorite of all time for pakistani/indian food. The spicy chicken tikka masala and butter chicken are the best recipes I've ever had! The naan is amazing as well. Food is priced great, with large quantity for the dishes, an amazing cook, and friendly owners. I never want anything else to eat, so I'm a regular customer here.

I've had the chicken korma and the goat korma. that, and their Naan, is amazing! I've had the garlic Naan and liked the regular Naan more. I'm surprised this place has so many negative reviews. I've only ever door dashed them, and the building does look shady, but the food has always been really freaking good!

Ordered chicken tikka masala and it seemed like the curry had artificial coloring in it and was all dry dark meat. Absolutely won’t be back for this restaurant. Hopefully there’s a better Indian food place locally.

This is the best halal food I’ve had in Delmarva. We ordered the Samosa Chaat and it was amazing. My dad got the Haleem which was fantastic. My goat curry was spectacular. And the naan to go with everything is 🔥 🔥🔥 10/10

Unreal flavors in this delicious food. Had the butter chicken and chicken seekh kabab and it was incredible. The aromas from the rice alone were enough to make my mouth water. Friendly people. This is what Salisbury has needed! Will be back many times.

My wife and I were looking for a good Indian food restaurant in the local area. Well we found it!!!! This little gem is truly a great place to eat. Service was great! You could tell food was freshly prepared. True Indian cuisine. You won't go wrong coming here.

Got butter chicken 2 weeks back no taste at all, no spices it was the worst butter chicken I’ve ever tasted. And this is coming from a Indian never again spending 13$ On butter chicken over here.

Eat here! The food tastes like they know what their doing and that's what counts. There is also an old world feeling in there that makes things special.

Punjab Kabab and Grill was the best part of living in Salisbury and no, I'm not exaggerating! My boyfriend and I tried to order from here at least once a week, and each time it was better than the last. Everything was always flavorful and fragrant and obviously prepared with love and care! I crave the Saag Paneer pretty much every day, and my boyfriend has always had delightful things to say about the friendly staff. We just moved about an hour away, but we will definitely make the drive to Salisbury just to visit this place! Thanks for the year of wonderful meals!

Don’t get your hopes up. They only stay open because they really don’t have competition & cater mainly to a specific clientele. It’s dirty & the customer service is a joke. The food is far from fresh & varies a lot depending on who is in the kitchen.
