Beware of this hotel! Management are scammers! My room was downgraded to full sized beds. The front desk apologized but said they were overbooked. I also couldn't get a refund because I checked in too late. La Quinta corporate was no help, and they owners ignored my calls when I tried to get a partial refund for the downgrade. Fortunately, I took ample pictures and recorded my phone calls with the front desk. I shared all this with my credit card company who informed me that the owners were going to fight to keep my money all the way to arbitration. 6 months later (and thanks to my amazing bank!) I finally got my refund.

This place has certainly gone downhill over the years. Cons: The beds, which used to be soft and wonderful, are hard and cheap. In fact, everything seems to be cheaper here. The couch in the living room of the suite was rock hard and sunken in. This is supposed to be their nicest room and it was rather dumpy. I've been staying at this hotel for 20 years, and it's just not what it used to be. There's visible mold in the bathroom, pubic hair in the tub, and the room smelled bad when we checked in. The TVs were old and the speakers were cruddy. The remotes for the TVs did not control the closed captions. The TVs were too dark and the remotes did not control that, either. They only have the most basic cable available on Dish network, and half of them don't work. No premium channels, no pay per view. WiFi is pretty slow, but it's free. Pros: The front desk personnel was polite and the check in was fast. The location is good; right off the highway and close to shopping and restaurants.

This place is going downhill. Used to be super nice when Red Lion owned it. Room 429. Several issues in bathroom: *Wall damage from shower overspray which could be fixed by adjusting the rod so that the curtain would stay shut which it wouldn’t. *Toilet runs, gotta jiggle it. *Sink was half full upon arrival. (Drain issue) *Coffee pot needs cleaning - heavy erosion *Water temp needs lowering. Mistakenly burned myself more than once. *Above the TV, did someone steal the artwork? There are lonely hooks up there. *Towel rack bars missing. *Freezer did not freeze my ice pack. *Room only had 1 bar of soap. *The ice dispensing machine is in the breakfast area, to the left, in the back. The only one for the WHOLE hotel. Can’t even see it. Thanks for not letting us know in advance to save guest frustration. I will say the front desk staff was very nice. Upon check out there was a guest complaining about his bathroom, issue with his shower. On a good note, the bed was comfortable and things were otherwise clean. Grateful we at least we had that!

Stayed a week. Close to hospital. Took a couple of days to settle in. Staff was Super friendly & helpful. My only complaints, were Not their fault. Pillows were small & hard. Shower curtain would not stay closed. Coffee in breakfast area was weak & not hot. -Coffee in room was better. Parking spaces way too narrow.

Very easy access to the I5, with many food establishments nearby. Aside from the torn and dirty/stained curtains, the room was clean & bed comfy. The room that the elevator is in is kind of small so if someone was waiting and someone was getting off the elevator they were kind of stepping on each other, especially if either/both had luggage. The breakfast was ok but too bad it ended at 9am. On a holiday it would be nice to be able to sleep in a bit with the option of breakfast until 10am.

We needed a hotel close to Salmon Creek Legacy Hospital. This location was close, but not really walking distance, and it was worth it for the comfy bed. The pool area is small but clean and relaxing. With all outside doors locking except the front doors, it felt very safe. Nearby restaurants made this an easy stay. We would stay here again, for sure!

Great friendly rooms, very fast service. Works well with online options like Expedia as well. The only problem is that if you get more nights on Expedia you have to redo your room stay paperwork in pay another incidental fee instead of transferring the last incidental fee. Besides that very small and not very time-consuming problem great hotel! There's free breakfast every morning. Breakfast hours are longer than most hotels. Three hours on the weekday and 4 hours on the weekends. Continental breakfast, cereal, yogurt, juice waffles, eggs sausage and bacon. Nice dedicated dining area, and no shortages of food or seating. All you can eat! Very convenient.

Usually stay at airport road. But messed up on booking and so glad I did. Rooms are bigger and way cleaner. DIANA was amazing and had great customer service. I'll he back just to see her. I felt like I was family. And I was a needy person during check-in. And not once did she seem like i was an inconvenience. Please keep this young lady around and teach other hotels your trick. Will definitely be returning 😌

There are a lot of rooms which is nice for availability. The rooms were big! Loved that their was a full size hide-a-bed couch! And the room was very clean. I appreciated that for my dogs sake. Thank you for making our stay great...

Overall very good experience. We were on the third floor. We walked into town and back, town shuttle was hard to figure out and didn't run often. Nice pool area. There is tea and coffee in the lobby all day. Breakfast was pretty good but I only had an apple and banana because I'm plant based but noticed many people taking advantage of it. Room was clean and good sized, had a mini fridge. Member of our group didn't like that the bathroom door was like a barn door and didn't close completely for privacy. Pleasant staff. It was a good choice for us.

Moving across country and ended up driving 30 hours straight because every place that said pet friendly actually meant dog friendly. We literally could not find any place to rest. Arrived and our apartment wasn't ready, so in a despair attempt at sleep. We called every hotel and this was the only place that would accept us. Not only was Anna fantastic at helping us find a room. It was 10 am far before normal check in and she got us in right away, and ensured we had everything we needed to get some food/sleep. Thanks so much Anna. If you are traveling with cats or are just looking for a great place to sleep. Def consider staying here.

Nice folks working there. Rooms are large and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was well stocked and plentiful. They had bowl sized Greek yogurt in a few flavors as well as the normal hot stuff, fruit and cereal. Pool and laundry too l

Stayed here for the location on business trip. Room was clean, hotel clean, bed comfortable. Overall, it seems to be showing age or use. Carpet is pretty worn in some places. I expect USB outlets to be available now. But I’d stay here again.

A pretty good stay here spent two nights. Front of Service was friendly and helpful. The breakfast nook had a good assortment. The pool was nice but in need of cleaning.

Updated - The people were great at addressing our challenges, but there were challenges. The toilet was flooded in the first room, the second room the ac was broken and the third room might have had bedbugs. Yuck. (Note, my husband has bites on his body, but no one could find the bed bugs so maybe it wasn’t bedbugs) The breakfast was not good either, over cooked eggs, no brown sugar for the oatmeal and rotting fruit This place once gets three stars as it was the front desk team that earned them. They addressed our challenges and even fully refunded the room due to all the chaos. Great team as these items were out of their control

We (my two kids and I) stayed at this La Quinta just for one night while we had some work done on our house. Our stay was great! The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful - very approachable and also efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed and pillows were especially comfy - got a great night's sleep! Having a full breakfast available in the morning was really nice - bacon, eggs, fresh made waffles available in addition to many, many other food items. We used the pool twice during our short stay (the kids were so excited for the pool!). The pool was a nice size for us, and it was great to play in. I would have preferred it to be a bit warmer personally, but that's how I almost always feel about pools :-) I give this location - building / room / facilities / staff a definite 10/10 rating and would happily recommend it to any friends or family in need of a hotel in Vancouver, WA. If we need another quick place to stay in town while working on our home, we'll definitely go back to this La Quinta. Thanks for the great stay!

    * Update: my points were restored! I hope this reaches the owner. I had booked a room for the evening of July 1st, checking out the 2nd. This was on June 1st at 10:11pm. I was using my earned points to book the stay. Thinking I had my reservation set, I head to bed for work the next day. I get an email 2 days later asking me how my stay was. I realized then that something happened and my dates were changed somehow as I am new to the Wyndham App. I tried to call Wyndham guest services to correct, and they called the hotel. The front desk agent refused to give me my points back to reserve different dates with them because it was marked a no show and they said to call the hotel to get it resolved. I then call the hotel, and speak with a very short attituded woman, I think her name was Madilyn? She was very unwelcoming and did not want to hear the situation, I could barely get a word in. I asked her to give my number for the General Manager to call me and of course, here we are days later and still no word. I am now out 15,000 points for an App error. I visit Vancouver often as all of my family live there and I am across the state. A small gesture of restoring the points for rebooking with La Quinta Vancouver for a different date would have restored my faith in this hotel. As a former Wyndham night auditor, I know that they can restore points and that situations happen. The lack of customer service from the front desk and management is concerning.

Normally I have loves the rooms I get. Our last room the door to the bathroom hit the toilet seat and the sheets had a hole, but I have stayed here numerous occasions and all other times it has been great. Easy access of I5. Staff is nice and helpful. The pool is conveniently located. And there is a nice safe spot to take out dog potty. Cameras all over parking area. I have felt safe each time I stay.

Friendly knowledgeable front desk staff, clean spacious rooms, pet welcome and a waffle maker at breakfast time. Perfect for quick travels or long term stays. I ended up here after my small bird and myself were turned away elsewhere in the middle of the night. I will definitely be back when I travel to this area for work.

On my first visit to LA Quinta Inn I fell in the parking lot due to poor lighting. My fall was a bad fall (nothing broken, but badly bruised, skinned up, swollen and in a lot of pain!) The fall was taped. Unfortunately, the staff copped a negative attitude toward me (and I am a nice/patient person!!!) Nothing was done about the fall...NOTHING! I was told they weren't responsible. The best part about the Inn was the complimentary breakfast. I was quite amazed of the amount of food that was available, and the staff was amazing!!!

We booked a room 8 months in advance for a nearby concert. We tried to check in 2 hours before the concert at 5pm and we were told the rooms were not ready and it would be about an hour wait. It was already 5pm and check in was at 3pm. They crammed everyone in the breakfast area and had to share a single bathroom to get ready. There was no toilet paper and the bathrooms were destroyed. The whole point of getting a room was to get ready before the concert. We wouldn’t of gotten a hotel if we were just going to get ready at a rest area. Terrible experience.

Very positive experience staying here. Front desk staff, Cassidy, was so pleasant and helpful to this road weary traveler. Check in was quick. Bed was great. I like a firmer bed, and this was one of the best hotel beds in which I've ever slept. I'm so fed up with sub par hotels with sub par service. From now on this will be my go-to lodging when I'm in Vancouver, WA.

Really nice place with exceptional customer service. Cassidy was polite, kind, an excellent communicator and really made sure we felt welcome. We arrived after a long day on the road and our room was quiet, the shower felt great, refrigerator and microwave were clean and well functioning. We will stay here again!

I wanted to let people know the truth. I am very unhappy with my stay there. The room was a good size, shower was nice. Not as clean as I hoped. The most disappointing part of my stay was I got bit up by some kind of insect in the bed. I couldn't sleep right. Very diappointed and sad because I was told it was a clean hotel. :( I will never stay there again. Gonna ask for some kind of adjustment. I hope they can at least do that for me. Have a blessed day!

Stayed here for the Korn and Evanescence concert, the first thing I noticed was how awesome the building smelled. As soon as we walked in it was like a big delicious candle was lit and hidden away but it was perfectly not overpowering or anything. The hallways smelled good in a different way too every room of this hotel smelled awesome pretty much. So whatever they're doing to make it smell so good they gotta let us know the secret because I strive to have such a nice smelling living area. The included breakfast was good and the rooms were sufficiently clean and comfortable as well. The desk people were all very friendly and helpful!

Front staff person was very courteous, and friendly. Room was clean, and quiet, but that could be because it was a Wednesday night. Some, minor, deferred maintenance needed, but nothing drastic. Beds were, for the most part, comfortable, but one bed was softer than the other which I thought was odd, but still happy because there was a soft bed to choose from. Pool was nice. Breakfast was, actually, pretty good! Would stay here again.
