As a returning business traveler I expect Avis to be trust worthy partner for car rental. Without sleek language and tricky maneuvers to smart you out all that is possible. In a usual rush, unfortunately I ended up paying more than double the amount I got through the online booking. The excess amount was held from reservation fee and became visible only after few days when I checked the refund. Very unpleasant experience in conclusion.

Be careful and check before signing so that you are not arbitrarily added to additional services that you did not ask for. I have booked a H group car and prepaied online. At pick-up I was handed the keys and only later I discovered they have upgraded the car to the next glass and added a premium location the the cost. However there was no mentioning about it at the pick-up. the real "fun" started when I did ask the customer service later for this. this attitude was a "once in a lifetime" experiance :D in the negative way of course

A group of thieves who hide behind the Avis name using a standard consistent scam of ripping off customers, which have been mentioned in many of the other Google Reviews of the Avis Vilnius Airport. As an Avis frequent user, this has been by a very long way the worst ever experience of hiring a car. They are the biggest rip off merchants going. Overcharging and looking to make money out of non Lithuanian travellers. The most unhelpful and unprofessional of low lives you are guaranteed to me. If you want to be overcharged and treated like scum then enjoy the experience with Avis Vilnius Airport. Giving this bunch of thieves 1 star is 5 too many stars for them. My advice to anyone looking to hire from Avis Vilnius Airport, DON'T, stay well clear of them. I would recommend you go and hire a car from one of the other more professional car hire companies operating from Vilnius airport.

Basically the service is good, and especially after I enrolled there as Avis repetitive customer. Anyhow too often my reservation will be upgraded. Personally, I like to drive VW cars and if I make a reservation for VW car, I really would like to get one, even though it would be upgraded to a bigger model.

This review is for Avis / Budget car rental at Vilnius airport: Very high Out of Hours Charge (I was 30 min after closing hours and I had to pay almost 50 Euro extra). I booked a SUV car, and have got a VW Golf without any refund. I contacted the company afterwards to claim the refund with no success, they say it is the same class and not a downgrade. There are other car rentals in the same price range at the Vilnius airport, so next time I will select another one.

Outstanding customer service. VERY close to the airport and easy to get the car and to return it. They kept our car ready for us even though our flight was 4 hours delayed. The car was clean and had no issues (minor age damage on the windshield wipers but otherwise good!) - and they were extremely accommodating to a small problem we had after returning the car. Price was worth it! Definitely I would rent from this location again and again.

Easy pickup. No questions asked. No extra charges. You pay bit more for rent, but at the end service is the best. I do NOT recommending PANEK car rental, as they refused to give me a car until I bought theres insurance.

Late pick up fee - Avis charge 50EUR when pick up a rental car after 10.00p.m., which is not included into offer. The employees are extremely demotivated and have no idea what customer service is.

Terrible !!! Tourist trap , they charge you 50 euro for late/return.pick up . Even you mentioned the pick up hours when you order the car and according to this , you receive the rent cost. They anyway charge you 50 EURO . Funny you order the littele car with 25 Euro rent per day, but late pick up cost is 50 Euro

This is not an enterprise, but a group of thieves, hiding behind a nice logo and nice offices, paid by the money that has been stolen from their customers. We did a big mistake to use this service but it will be a lesson for life. We were convinced to take another car than the one we booked online, different size and another type of gear. As a result we did a tiny scratch. 700 euros for deposit after the use of car later became an exact amount to repair it. To repair an almost invisible tiny line scratch. Good luck in investing in confidence and loyalty of your future non existing clients.

Good service with easy pickup and dropoff. Got the car needed even with very short notice, ordered the car in the evening and picked up early in the morning. Good price.
