Who knew there was basically a huge Art Gallery inside?! Went here for the free Sunday Music and the Spoken Word musical performance and it was so beautiful and well-done. But we were pleasantly surprised to find so much gorgeous art to walk around and view afterwards! Such a majestic building with gorgeous architecture. And the rooftop garden and waterfalls are beautiful as well outside of winter.**If you liked my review or found it to be helpful give it a thumbs up! 👍And follow me on Google Maps for more reviews, thanks!

Positively bedazzling. Spectacular views of Salt Lake City from the garden rooftop. Unfortunately, as of June 2022, Temple Square across the street was still under construction. But here within the conference center itself, everything was clean and gorgeous. We'd visited on a Sunday and entry was free. The main auditorium is unfathomably gigantic!

Absolutely beautiful building that I recommend any traveler or visitor should see. Gorgeous artwork throughout the conference center, and the views on the top are excellent. As normal in the Temple Square, expect to be approached very often by LDS members. Can be occasionally difficult to enjoy the art in peace, but it is all free with that cost.

I came to visit for an afternoon session in the October General Conference 2023. The establishment and its surrounding area is very spacious and well-maintained. The entrance process to get in went pretty smoothly, they have efficient ticket scanners and security at each doors and though it was busy, we only waited about 15 minutes in the line, before we were ushered in. The main lobby and hallways is very clean and organized. They have couple and sister missionaries everywhere to answer any questions and direct you to your seating area. The hallways are wonderfully adorned with amazing artwork and beautiful paintings. The facility is well-equipped with escalators, stairs, water fountains, restrooms, seating, audio visual, light and sound systems. My few suggestions would be having better signage (arrows and/or maps) around to indicate where the restrooms are located. I found myself and quite a bit of others trying to look for the restrooms during the intermediate hymnn in between session. Another suggestion is renovating the 2nd floor restroom, to manage the traffic better, it was a bottle neck area to get in and out the doors.

This is a beautiful building that, unbelievably, they let you explore completely. You can go in the various galleries, you can go into the huge conference auditorium (and maybe hear an organ concert or rehearsal), you can go onto the roof to see the city--it's entirely open. Even better, there are guides in every hallway, and indoor parking is free. So if you're in Salt Lake, check it out as part of your free Temple Square tour.

The building is amazing! You just look up and you're in awe at the structure, the sound quality and the most important is the Tabernacle Choir that is known worldwide as the best choir in the world! You can watch performances and they have a Christmas show that they do every year. This year was the best presentation ever! You can also take tours of the building. They had it beautifully decorated for the holidays.

Tickets for general conferences are generally available through your stake presidency. Arrive about an hour early. Parking is available through the open lots east of the conference center. Parking is also available through paid lots of commercial lots east of the conference center. Music for the conference is by the Tabernacle at Temple Square or other choirs from BYU or BYU Idaho. Sometimes, a youth choir will provide the music for conferences. Broadcast from the first presidency, musical broadcasts, general conference, devotionals, and other Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints activities originate from the conference center. It is beautiful inside with original church artwork, sculptures, and design. Tours are offered!

Twice a year the church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints has its church leaders speak to the world. This place is a wonderful venue with very convenient seating. I was able to attend attend the Saturday Afternoon session in October of 2022, it was an incredible spiritual experience and I felt closer to God.

What a blessing to come here as a full-time missionary. The spirit is so strong here like no other place. It was my first time seeing all of the apostles and Prophet in person!!!! Watching general conference back in 2018 was apart of my conversion to the true church of Jesus Christ. Never underestimate the messages they share because they truly are men called of God. It is amazing to see people come here from all over the world to hear the great messages that they share. This will be an experience that I will hold onto for the rest of my life.

What a venue, what an experience! My son and I were inspired by the building, the messages, the music, the view. Such an incredible facility that inspires in too many ways to list in a Google review.

Great Experience, they have the history of the church and the elders of this church. They have organ rehearsal's I think daily but not sure, for approximately 30 minutes, on Thursday night they have choir and orchestra rehearsal. Please do not be concerned with anyone pushing faith on you. Everyone is very respectful, cordial, polite and courteous, visitors should be the same. Check the website for event times. There is also a museum available to visit at no cost not in the temple, just a few blocks before the temple with the history of the area, the church and a very high tech 3D experience.

Amazing architecture and artwork throughout - this place features the world's largest theater-style assembly hall (no pillars obstructing view). Free concerts weekly and tours each day, and touring the roof is amazing - there are trees & fields on top of the building.

I'm not mormon but I can't deny the beauty of the architecture of their building and the fact that they allow people our of their religion to go in and meet these areas. All the people we meet are extra polite!

Fantastic religious center of worship! We took a tour of the interior and roof of the Conference Center. Two missionaries took us around to show us the huge assembly hall. The pipe organ is incredible. The size of the seating area is unreal. There is amazing art throughout the building and the missionaries explained the significance and symbolic nature of it all. The roof offered a phenomenal view of a temple across the street and the rest of downtown Salt Lake City. I felt a sense of peace there and the missionaries were among the nicest people I’ve ever met. This is a must visit in the SLC!

We came to see the Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert... the performance was absolutely amazing!! The venue is excellent. The balcony was not reserved, but they had ushers that actually helped folks find a seat. It was great! So rather than leaving gaps, they filled them with late arrivals. The acoustics are phenomenal, and the building is beautiful. The organ, the choir, the orchestra, the guests... all top-notch. Highly recommended!

The conference center is an absolute incredible building. We attended the Christmas concert put on by the tabernacle choir and it was absolutely incredible. There’s not a bad seat in the house. The sets were so detailed and beautiful camera work to put details up on the big screen was wonderfully done, everything was clean, and the volunteers were so helpful and friendly, I absolutely love this building!

Apart from the magnificent 21,000 seater edifice, I particularly enjoyed hearing the sisters on mission share their beliefs. It was fascinating to hear that the organ at the conference center has 7,708 pipes. The one at the Tabernacle is a massive 11,623-pipe organ - the 16th largest in the world.

This is a ridiculously nice building re facilities, decor (lots of Mormon art and history). Visited on a random Sunday when there was no event, but was still open to the public! There were friendly LDS missionaries inside to talk to

You can freely tour the building which doubles as a sort of LDS museum, but part of the rooftop gardens are currently closed.

Beautiful place, there's a rooftop garden with amazing views. Too many LDS recruiters though, but worth a visit if you are in Salt Lake for sure

Best place to start refreshing your memories about the life our Savior lived for us. Thus is where our beloved living Prophet speaks to us of God's will to us today twice a month.

Just a beautiful place to visit. Our last trip was at Christmas time and we were happy to see all of the lights and decorations. If you are lucky to stop by when they open, you have to walk around. The interior art work is so beautiful and inspiring. The staff is mostly volunteers and they are genuinely warm, kind, and pleased to answer any questions. The center of the building is a spacious conference center that can accommodate thousands. They have a rooftop garden with water ways. I have yet to visit during the proper time of year to see it in bloom and with running water, but it was still very impressive. They have nice, free a parking garage in a city that seems to not have a lot of parking. We always stop by here when we are in town.
